Sept. weekends of Frozen - How will this affect a non-frozen family?

I'm there that last weekend too. We were planning DHS for Saturday 9/27, but have no moved it to 9/25. I can't see Frozen+limited fireworks+Saturday night being a good idea.

Friday could potentially have decent crowds too. MK is an early close/party night, so you could more people flocking to DHS for the longer houses and fireworks. They just updated the DHS schedule to a 9 pm close.

I was thinking about flipping our Epcot day and DHS day from 9/25 to 9/26 and then just go to HS for the fireworks only on a different night that we are there. It is all going to depend on if my sons family want to do that. I am sure HS will be less crowded on a day that closes at 7:30 vs any night they close at 9.

Also remember that your Friday is during food and wine, so the crowds at Epcot will be heavier on a Friday too. Which one will be worse...I have no idea!

What was I thinking!!! I am not even about to try and move my dates, as I was thinking about it, I realized that I will have to redo my fastpasses! and Lord knows there probably aren't any TSMM or TOT available this late in the game! I am just going to keep my plans as is and hope that we can get the headliners out of the way and enjoy the rest of the day

And you are soooo right! Epcot WS would probably be a madhouse on Friday!

I switched our FP to 9/25, and I had to take 3 different overlapping times to get 5 together before lunch for TSMM. Not ideal, but we can make it work. Mostly I needed to move DHS from 9/27 because we are meeting our friends for dinner that night at Epcot. I'm not fond of Epcot on a Saturday night, but if we're doing it, we HAVE to have FP that night. AK is our morning park, so no biggy saving FP for night time.

Anyone think it would be smart for us to switch to a weekend after labor day?

Original plan was to go labor day weekend.

I can get room and such for one weekend later, would the crowds better, plus we can book the package then which we wanted.

We come in on the 21st and that would be the only day we could do the Frozen event since we will be in town starting the 19th. I haven't decided if I want to switch things around yet or not since we have EP planned that night with dinner at Cape May. The morning we were going to go and see DA at Universal since we have passes but I don't know yet We have A&E passes on the 28th so DD will get to see them but the fireworks/parade/activities look good.
