Sept or Oct 2009?

Which time is better to go for a first time visit to DL? Thinking either end of September or starting the second week of October. Which usually has more ride closures? We are WDW vets and never go during peak season, but I know DL off-season is different than WDWs as there are more ride closures, etc. at DL. How is the weather? I live in Florida so I know HOT, but I wouldn't think So. Cal would be hot then.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

It was less crowded in September than October this year. Downside is HM is usually down until the beginning of October to install the holiday overlay.

If you want to see Halloween Oct. If you want to avoid crowds Sept. If you plan it right, you can see the opening of Halloween in Sept.
