Any word or thoughts on whether or not this will happen again? We have gone the past 2 years and want to go again. I know we can book now and add the code later but we would rather wait til the info is out to the general public.

I heard something about Disney Visa holders and November free DDP. (we aren't holders).

When did they offer the free DDP to everyone last year? Did it come out in March? April? May?

Don't know whether it will be offered again, but they have offered it for UK travellers again. I should imagine that's an indication they are still thinking it's a viable offer, and a good way to attract travellers during hurricane season.

Historically it's always been early to mid April. They offered bounce back for those who went this year, so everyone is fairly hopeful it'll be offered to the general public next year.

We were there and could have booked bounceback but we didn't want to plunk down the $200 at that time. We are CHEAP! LOL! We figured we'd take our chances and plunk it down in the spring. We did upgrade our tickets to NE though so all we will need to buy is a 1 day pass! :)

Free Dining has been a brilliant plan on the part of Disney to fill the crowds during what was previously their slowest season, and hurrican season to boot. And then having the bounceback for free food while the free diners are there in the parks, on their Disney high, well I would call that pure marketing genius. I personally don't see it Free Dining ending anytime in the near future.

The free dining offer is usually announced during the first week of April. The first couple of days it will only be open to Disney Visa holders and then will open up to the general public. A couple of months ago Disney Destinations sent out some emails that offered free dining pin codes for select dates in October, November and December. These emails were random, not for the general public, and the codes were non-transferrable. At the end of September Disney Visa send out a free dining code for their card holders for the same select dates in October, November and December. These pin codes are not part of the Fall Dining promotion.
