Has anyone booked their Wishes Desert Party yet for September?

Dates are up but having trouble booking through DW Web Site ...... Given up and now leaving for the MFL Agent!

I'm sure within the next couple of hours she will have it booked...

Hello Hellosue (just needed to do that!)

Ummm ... I haven't tried booking Wishes Desserts, and you haven't explained what difficulties you are having. So I am not sure if this will be helpful.

I cannot book any dining reservations using Mozilla Firefox browser but I can using Internet Explorer. I'm not technical at all. don't know why it doesn't work. Had the same problem with my MVMCP and MNSSHP bookings. So - just checking one option - could it be your browser?

Hi Sugarglider,

Thanks for the info on Internet Explorer - I only use IE and looked again last night and dates dissapeared for Aug & Sept then today returned.... MFL Agent said there not available to purchase yet. So will let her book....

As a newby I have picked up on most of the lingo here on the forum but I am struggling with "MVMCP" :headache: please enlighten me....

Hi Hellosue
When I go look at the bookings it is not running every night - I think in the slow periods (a.k.a Sept) fireworks are not on every night - some one will correct me if I am wrong!:teacher:
And every Sept date I tried was already booked out :sad1:
but I didn't try them all so keep looking you might be lucky:yay:
But as you say - your agent will probably get the tickets for you. :cool1:

Yes, I go that email too and I wonder if we should do it. I'm not positive whether they will be valid in October though. Also, has anyone bought from them before?

Did you read the fine print:
Ticket Expires July 31, 2011.Please note tickets needs to be redeemed at Kennedy Space Center by Sunday, July 31st, 2011

Maybe a little early for discount tickets in Oct. I'm still waiting on better price for Sept....

Yes, I saw that too but got confused when I read that they were not valid on December 25 or shuttle launch days. Between now and July 31, there is no December 25th!!

;) me to so i emailed them last night and it definitely expires on the 31st of July:sad2:

:cheer2: I just wanted to bump up this thread by saying  We only have 64 sleeps to go! I remember when we had this many days to go last year and they went quicker than i could think :scared1: Could someone slow time down just a bit till i have all my spending money :lmao:

YAY - its definitely feeling close now - :cool1:

I am thinking about packing - what to wear:confused3 Although I wont be able to buy anything new as we only have winter stock at the moment.

Have also been thinking about doing laundry:laundy: - boring I know - but we have a multileg trip and I dont know how I am going to fit it in.
We will be departing from Freedom of the Seas and heading straight to MCO for 4days in NYC - Do you think they have a laundry in MCO? :rotfl:
Maybe we can all wear disposable underwear! :rotfl::rotfl:

Oh how I wish we had ony 2 months to go! I'm hanging for a holiday and 4 months seems so so far away.

How is everyones planning going?
We've booked all accommodation just need theme park tickets, car hire and internal flights! Credit card is a bit sad at the moment though so have to wait a few weeks to hit it again!!
We've ended up with 4 nights at Loews Royal Pacific then 10 nights at the All Star Music then 4 nights at Nickelodeon.
We have booked a breakfast at Chef Mickey's but unfortunately missed out on a fireworks dessert and a fantasmic lunch package but at least those are two things we can still see just not from the special locations.
I'll ring them again every month though to see if there have been any cancellations

:lmao: you have made my day packing and buying clothes before you go :confused:don't you buy in the USA ?? We take empty suitcases inside each other with only a few days clothes that everyone has to be prepared to leave behind. That means we have to shop in the first few days What a shame that will be in New York :cool1:

Disposable underwear maybe all the ones you want to throw away instead no washing required :rotfl2:

:rolleyes1I have been trying to work out where we are fitting washing in but we always seemed to manage often my DH did whilst i took the kids to the pool at night or early in the morning the kids were not happy buy how much stuff he shrunk but he tried:rotfl:

We are nearly at the 100 day mark!! I usually do a sticker countdown chart for the kids, so must get onto that.

I have been thinking about laundry too. We have 4 nights in NYC, then fly to Miami the night before our cruise. I think the hotel laundry will be all I will see of Miami.

All I have left to do is book a hotel by LAX, and confirm the car hire. I have my final uni exam in a few weeks, so the travel arrangements are on the back burner for the moment.

thats great, 60 odd days is really close. We are around 4 months as well, well 3 months till we leave but 4 months till we get to WDW.

I am all over the place with my bookings. Still haven't booked any adr's or even planned our WDW days.

We leave on August 24 and I am deep in list mode working out what I need to do / buy / plan etc. We are away for a whole month and I am trying to work out what needs to done at home (mail collection is about all I can think of ) and work (many many things) while we are away.

Hi AussieMumma,
You may not have missed out on Wishes Dessert Party because they have not released dates yet for September/October.

Another Fireworks to consider is the Pirates & Pals Firworks Cruise - meet and greet with Captain Hook, dessert and refreshments @ Contemporary Resort then board the boat with Patch, then watch fireworks and water illumination parade (some nights) then return to resort to meet an greet with Peter Pan..

I just learnt of this and booked with two very keen teenage Girl Pirates......
