Sept Disneyland Trip

Please some tell me I am not crazy for already doing some packing for my trip!
I am so excited I have already found my self thowing things in suitcases. I just went shopping to buy some new shorts and sandals for me and the kids and summer stuff is already on clearance. I was afraid if I waited to long we would not find summer clothes or shoes for our trip. I don't want to wear them until the trip so I have already packed them! I want them to stay nice! I am so excited about our trip we a are staying at the DLH from 9/9 to 9/15 and I cant wait. I hope the crowds are not to bad. My kids are 4 1/2 and 2 1/2 and they talk about it all the time. I am so excited!

I don't think your crazy, I am also going in Sept and have been buying travel size stuff and putting them in a new bag just for our trip, I also went and bought new disney themed outfits for every day of our trip for the kids and I have been secretly buy Tinkerbell gifts and beach toys too.

No not crazy, excited yes! And I don't blame you there! Although my DH has been laughing at me the last few days for putting things aside and getting ready. Our trip is in 2 weeks, why would that be laughable! Some of us just like to be prepared!

Crazy,no. Just 'well' prepared. My daughter and oldest son are going a few days before you. My g-son and i are taking a redeye that same weekend. Dd already has new luggage bought and half packed.
Maybe we'll see you there.

I made my DH read this so he will maybe understand I'm not alone in this "crazy early preparedness". We are going in late September, the end of the 50th. This is late planning as far as I'm concerned.

No your not crazy - Grandparents start packing early also. I got the suitcases down this weekend, after we visited the Disney store semi-annual sale Friday night and purchasing a few (a lot) items for the grandkids, and packing them away for our September 17th-23rd trip.
