so is the first week of dec going to be packed now... it seems like very little room choice left for that week. Wondering if we should switch to the week after... but i will lose all my adr's and its pop warner week right?

POFQ doesn't have any availability for my week although I just checked and the beginning of my vacation has availability so I'm going to call in a few hours and see if I can get the first couple days at the discounted rate. I have no idea if this is possible but it's worth a try for $100-$150.

Would this be considered split stays and require changing rooms mid vacation? I'm all about saving money but if it requires checking in and out I'd rather spend that time in parks and will just pay full price.

Oh I see! I love POFQ but to save $340 I'd definitely try CS! I've heard it gets a bum rap but it really looks like a nice resort & I'd like to try it someday...FWIW! Haha

Trying for the Poly but it's only available for 4 of our planned 5 nights Anyone know if we can call in to book and pay rack rate for the last night, or would it require 2 separate reservations?

There is an earlier poster that worded this well - it's on page 26 (#389, I believe). It sounds like you won't since the first day is covered by the RO discount.

I'm in the the situation at the same place, so I'm hoping that is true!

Just woke up at 1am and found out that the RO discount had already gone live! Luckily, I was able to book my 1st choice (Wilderness Lodge) with 30% off but had to get a courtyard view instead of a woods view. I was a bit torn between WL and AKL, but I'll try AKL some other time. My dates are November 6th-10th and I'm excited!

I have been looking forward to POFQ for the last couple of months so I'm having an internal fight between common sense and emotions. My heart is trying to figure out a way to justify the added cost of staying at POFQ, if I can get a couple discounted days I'll stick with POFQ, if not I'll definitely give CS a try to save $340, that's a lot of souvenirs.

Ugh...well that was a bummer...stayed up for nothing. No POR and nothing available for POFQ. DH cant do a double bed so we have to go moderate not POP (which is available). Cant afford Deluxe even with discount. Not looking good. Good luck to everyone else!

That is so strange. I tried the CR before I realized that it isn't listed in the offer, and I did not get any discounted rate.

The Contemporary Resort is not listed as included in the 30% off room rate. I did the math & the rates given with the discount are 20% off. So it is discounted, just not as much!

Editing to add: Just wanted to provide the rates I am seeing for the night of December 1 at the Contemporary Resort:

Garden Wing - Garden View: Rack Rate: $469.12
Garden Wing - Garden View: Discounted: $375.31 (20% off)

Tower - Bay Lake View: Rack Rate: $551.25
Tower - Bay Lake View: Discounted: $441.00 (20% off)

Not as sweet as 30%, but better than nothing!

If the resort you want isn't listed in the offer, still look it up & do the math comparison with the rack rate; it may be discounted, just not as much as the ones on the list.

By the way... there sure aren't many room types (or rooms at all) on some nights with this offer, are there. Lots of nights here and there with no discount availability at all, & I started looking up rates at 12:15am!

It makes me wonder if there will be much left at all for Annual Passholder discounting (I'm an AP holder too). Some rooms that are always backup plans for us, always available, in case our first choice sells out... are not available on some nights with this General Public offer.

I just double checked because after I read your post I thought I was too excited when I booked and missed something, but it shows the discounted rate-20% off.
