SEPT-DEC 2009 Dates added - HoJo Updated Ent. Rate Calendar

You should always call though (be sure to ask for in house reservations)

My husband left for a business trip this morning (a trade show at the Anaheim Convention Center) and they still hadn't booked a hotel. The site showed that only the 11th was an Ent. rate night, but when I called they said that we could have the rate for tonight and tomorrow night too. The site shows those dates now, but it didn't this morning when I called. Anyhoo... it never hurts to call and ask.

Glad to see the new dates for Feb 19th, 20th, 21st, and 22nd. DH wants to go for a quickie economy trip for his birthday (the 20th) and the kids don't have shchool that Monday either. Think I'll nab the HoJo for those nights! :banana:

COME ON JULY!!!!!

What are my chances? Are they pretty slim for July? Does anyone remember if they offered a July code last year?

Another stupid question. If they do happen to release dates for July and I already have a reservation... What do I do?
Please tell me if I'm on the right track:
I call in house reservations.
Ask them to apply the entertainment rate to my current reservation.
Go buy the entertainment book.
Show my card at check in.

Did I get all that right? Is it true that I won't actually need the entertainment card upon making the reservation - ONLY at check in? Because I don't want to buy the book unless my dates actually come up.

I don't know about dates in July. But if the entertainment rate comes up, yes you call in house reservations and ask them to apply that rate. You do not need the entertainment card to make the reservation. Just have the card at check in. I have stayed there 4 times and have never been asked for the card, but I have heard others have been asked.

Nellie, I just tried it and it worked. Try again, and if it still doesn't work you can navigate there by going to the hojoanaheim.com site and then going to their discussion boards.

Thanks Callie, I think it was something wrong on my end. I wasn't able to open any additional windows. I restarted and was able to see the link.
I'm keeping my eye on the Fall....I'm hoping for a birthday visit for my son...we will see.

I booked it! Checking in on the 19th and checking out on the 23rd. Yippee!! :banana:

Not for my new Feb. dates.....and nothing for July yet, that's our next trip...most likely. I'll have to review these dates tonight with DBF so we can see if we want to do anything else. Thanks for the notice! :)

I am presuming those are the rates before taxes? anyone have any idea as to what the rates are with taxes? reason i am asking, is that I am trying to determine whether the Ent book rate is a better deal, or if the expedia w/airfare is the better deal. Right now I can get a pool view deluxe room at hojos via expedia by adding it to airfare for 314 for 4 nights...

thanks!!!!!

I called inhouse and got the 59 dollar rate for all three nights I am staying. I am soooo excited!! WOOO hooo... I didn't know to call in house, and wasn't getting the 59 dollar rate. Now I got it, just by calling inhouse. Thank you for that tip.

For a three night stay I am paying $203.00

Hotel tax in anaheimis 15%. 4 nights at $59 + tax = $271.40

COME ON JULY!!!!!

What are my chances? Are they pretty slim for July? Does anyone remember if they offered a July code last year?

I just made a reservation for early July, and my rate* is $75.66! :goodvibes

* NQQ2 (Deluxe, Building 2)
* 2 Queens
* Facing the Pool
* Fridge/Microwave/Coffee-maker/Internet
* I asked for the 1st floor, which should include the upgraded mattresses. :cloud9:

For late June, I got the Ent. Rate ($69.00)! :cool1:

My total for 8 nights (including tax) = $665.44. :wizard:

I called 714-776-6120 and specifically asked for "In-House Reservations" :cheer2: and I had the pleasure to speak with Jennifer! :wizard:

(If you only ask for "Reservations" then you get switched to the Central Office. :sad1:)

Thank you, Dangermouse! :wizard:

Last July they released some July dates mid month. We were staying there when they released them. I always check when I am there in case anything has been added. It worked for us!

Anyone know what the difference is between a "standard" room and the "deluxe" room for $10 more?

We have reservations for May and I was so happy to see that the last two nights were discounted. I tried to call a few times today to get the rate adjusted but the phone lines were very busy and I was on hold for a long time. Everyone must have been calling! So instead I found my confirmation email and emailed Jennifer asking her to modify my reservation to reflect the lower rate. She emailed back in under an hour and it was all taken care of. Awesome CS!
