sept crowds huge this year?

I am reading all over the boards that the sept crowds were huge this year, almost as bad a summer? I was wondering if the team found this to be the case. If so is it all a result of FD? Is there anyway to compare crowds? I thought Disney does not publish attendance, just curios about all this.

Very large crowds. There is no more slower season in my opinion

I'm interested too, we went late March/early April last year (Easter was very late so spring break period went for weeks) and planning a September trip next year, so I'd be interested in how they compare.

We didn't wait in any line that was more than 30-40 minutes posted time so there were some rides we missed, but for the most part, I didn't find it unbearable like the boards had me believe.

I want to go when it's a bit hotter than it was in March/April, so September seems like a good time.

Just reread my trip report from late January last year. Even though I remember crowds, we seemed to get on attractions with ease.

Just got back (Sep 21-26) - fairly large crowds compared to what I was expecting. We got into the parks early and walked onto most everything, though.

I found that this summer was kinda slow and September was slightly more busy but nothing crazy. September is the month of no hours for CM's.
