The closing time has changed from 7 pm to 10 pm so I guess we now for sure that there won't be MNSSHP on that night. On the plus side they have released more BOG reservations

I figured that also on the plus side was that there was no party and closing was moved to 10pm.

My understanding as well the first date was after Night of Joy.... I was initially excited when I saw the park hours released, we're always there the beginning of Sept and hit a Halloween party. sadly not this year as we leave on the 13th.... Darn Night of Joy messing with my plans!
