The key is just to ignore the dog and not interact in any manner.
My mom's dog is from The Seeing Eye in Morristown, NJ.

Dear Richard,
We are thrilled that you will be sailing aboard the Disney Magic® from the port of New York.
This is just a brief reminder to let you know that the ship will be departing from the Manhattan Cruise Terminal's Pier 88.
We look forward to welcoming you aboard soon!
Sincerely,

Have already purchased a large box of Bonine and it is in my travel bag.

This was supposed to be one of my two full days in the office this week before departing for New York Thurs. evening. However, after I had gone less than a mile on the freeway this morning toward my office, traffic came to a dead stop. About 50 police cars passed by, along with several ambulances, and there was a helicopter flying overhead. According to my DH, a California Highway Patrol officer had been shot, the freeway was closed and they were diverting everyone off the freeway. After about an hour of sitting in the same spot, the CHP started turning everyone around right on the freeway. About two hours after I had left the house I returned, after having gone about 2 miles in my overall commute. Needless to say, I am working from home the rest of today. On the plus side, since I was so fidgety after having sat in my car for two hours going virtually nowhere, as soon as I came home, I put on the workout gear and went for a 5-mile walk. Bonus exercise! Assuming I actually make it to the office tomorrow, that will be my last day there before working from home on Thus. to prepare for a Thurs. evening redeye from SFO to JFK. So ready for this trip!
