:thanks: for making the easy google form! BTW, when is the cutoff for signing up?

Thanks! Glad people are finding it easy to use.

I will have the form available up until the 6th. However in order for people to prepare I think we should propose anyone who is interested in participating to at least put your name in the hat by August 24. Sound good?

Even if your stateroom is "GTY" (Like mine) go ahead and put the guest information in so we can plan numbers. I can always change GTY to the actual stateroom once assigned.

Barb & Jay
My Birthday cruise with my 'birthday buddy' who is also sailing along with friends/family. We have 4 cabins total.

We are coming into Penn Station on Amtrak the Friday morning of the cruise - any suggestion on a nice place to get breakfast close to the Station - we will then be taking a taxi to the pier.

There are many places to eat in Penn Station, I would think they would be listed on their website. Are you looking for a nice sit down big breakfast or something quick? I'd be so inclined to grab something in Penn Station so I'm not dragging my suitcases all over the block looking for a restaurant, but that's just me, not to mention finding a place to put the bags in the restaurant.

There are many places to grab coffee and a bagel in Penn Station, even at least three Starbucks locations. I always liked Zaro's on the NJ Transit level. There's a diner across the street on the corner of 34th and 8th Avenue for a sit down location and the New Yorker also has a restaurant called the Copper Tavern. McDonalds is one block up 8th Avenue. I don't know the 7th Avenue side that well.

I'm doing the 9/2, 9/7, and 9/12 sailings. Unfortunately my DH has a 100 person reunion at 4pm on 9/2 and he leaves 9/15 for Shades of Green at WDW for a work conference. Therefore I will be hiring a Towncar or Suburban to drive me and my DM up/back from Baltimore. Mapquest says that the NJ Turnpike is almost an hour quicker. Would you agree? And does that route run into the GW Bridge? Thanks in advance! :)

A B2B2B? That's pretty cool. The best way for you to come into the city is the Turnpike to the Lincoln Tunnel, so you won't have to worry about the GW.

newflyer is Judy, and she's with me (or I'm with her, depends on who you ask). We'll be celebrating our 34th anniversary (which takes place 5 days after we disembark) on board.

My DH is Doug and we will be celebrating our 24th Anniversary!

Thanks compiling the list!

22nd Anniversary

Correction made!

Thanks,, boy you are fast..

I see that someone posted that the NJ Turnpike to the Lincoln Tunnel avoids the GW mess :) and is the best way to go. Hope your travel goes smoothly, so much planning, but for Disney Cruise, so worth it! Maggie

Maggie_Sam - where on LI do you live? My wife grew up in Uniondale and I grew up in the Five Towns.

My wife Mary and I just booked this cruise! Apparently we got the last DVC discount price! We sure are glad that we didn't "think about it" any longer!!! We're celebrating our 32nd aniversary.

This will be our 4th cruise and first on the Magic.

Looking forward to cruising with you all!

I grew up in the Bronx and moved to Shoreham in the 70s, we actually arrived in time for hurricane Belle. As a city girl was not prepared for no power, downed trees, etc. Never expected to stay on Long Island, but love it now and am too settled to think about leaving. Come from a big family, and 3 of my siblings followed me, a brother in Bayshore, another brother in Commack and my sister in Shoreham :cheer2:. Two brothers up in Rockland County, and one in Dallas. Nice to know that some fellow Long Islander's will be on board!

Virgil this is a lucky cruise for you and your fiancée! Seems like it is the anniversary cruise. Everyone is celebrating wedding anniversaries so that has to be a good sign for your marriage!

:thanks: for making a great list!

I would just like to switch "mom" to "Cathie". And, to mention this is our "1st B2B2B... Canada 9/2, 9/7, & 9/12" Thanks! :goodvibes

 Ah, just a thought, the 9/2/12 Canada cruise I'm on prior to this is cutting their list August 1st so that people have time to order or make their gifts, package and label them. We really need more time than a cutoff of 8/24/12.

I know I do as I've had surgery last week and am having one this week and I'm making my gifts from scratch. Also, the FE I did on 11/6/11 cut their list off somewhere between 4-8 weeks out as well giving us plenty of time to put everything together (Tammy could remind us how many weeks we had). :scratchin

:cool1: Yeah, it is the first B2B we have ever done and because of the great DVC price of $649 it was like Buy1Get2Free so we made it a B2B2B. :thanks: for the great tips about the Turnpike & LT :goodvibes
