Thanks, I didn't know that. But I usually request the same stateroom everytime, if it's available. I have it for this cruise. It's 5122. It's mine and DH's favorite.

I noticed that OGT, IGT and VGT fares are now being offered.

Hopefully this increases the likelihood that I'll be able to upgrade at the port.

Oh how I wish I didn't see this post - I just checked the prices and we could have booked the VGT rate for less than what I paid for my inside cabin. I just booked this cruise last week - I wish I would have waited. The price for the inside cabin is over $500 less

I'm checking back over and over to see if the cabin next to my aunts' stays open. I'm hoping to be able to upgrade into it. I wonder how that works when the restricted categories are available. Hopefully, the upgrade differential is less? Who knows.

It stinks to find a cheaper price for something you've booked, but you can't control that. If you were good with the price when you booked it, it's a good price. At least, that's what I tell myself!

The VGT rate is about $500 less than when I booked this cruise on day 1, but I'm very happy with my cabin that I chose. But if I were to cancel my original booking I would lose the full 20% deposit amount and the DCL on board credit, so I would lose money in the end. So I'm happy with my price and cabin.

We would but we'd have to cancel our existing ressie and the penalty wouldn't be worth it. Oh well we booked the best deal at the time so were happy we're going.

Nothing organized, just show up and order a drink of whatever you want.....just wear pink. Boas and tiaras are optional. Anyone who wants to join in is welcome.

You will receive that information when you get you KTWC at check-in. Some folks do request a specific dining rotation. We are requesting a certain server and cannot do both.

Yes, we are ready for this cruise. I am having trouble staying away from the suitcases. We have been hoping to have a quiet, laidback trip this time. It has been so hectic since the Hawaii cruise. Hopefully, the weather will cooperate.

Yes, we are ready for this cruise. I am having trouble staying away from the suitcases. We have been hoping to have a quiet, laidback trip this time. It has been so hectic since the Hawaii cruise. Hopefully, the weather will cooperate.

Since it's a non-Champagne Girls meeting for a drink.....men are invited also. I told DH John that he has to wear his cabana boy shirt....it's a pink and white hawaiian flowers shirt that he wore to the champagne girls tasting on the Hawaii cruise. He and two other friends poured the champagne for us....hence they got the name cabana boys.

We have signed up for the lighthouses and lobsters, and the blueberry picking shore excursions. I hope that the weather will cooperate. Surely the heatwave will have fizzled out by then.

Sounds like fun - count me in, I added it to my master cruise schedule which seems to contain alot of "drinking" Unfortunately I don't own pink - guess that is an excuse to go shopping!

Last week I bought new suticases, today I made cruise luggage tags for them - they are ready and willing me to start packing.

I made my packing list so that's a start. I will start gathering the toiletries! Trying to pack light this trip - 2 rolling carry ons and 2 duffle bags on top! Can I do it time will tell!
