Whatever the entertainment will be, it is always fabulous. It always is and will be. For our group, they will not let us down - sure of that. As long as they give us Bingo games along the way!!!!! :cheer2:

Good Morning to all:

Just for everyone's information, I am still working on our shirts. Marketing at Disney has refused to let us use the DVC Logo on any shirts - even if it is just for this cruise. I spoke with them for quite a long time this week.
They suggested that I can go into the park and buy any shirt I want (at the cost of $20 plus for each shirt) and then I can put anything on that shirt that I want - and - oh yes - I must do that right away (NOT) That would be way too expensive for all of us.
So I am trying to think of some Logo to put on the shirt relating to the cruise but not the DVC Logo. Some nice - language - will come to my mind, I just have to think about it.

Not to worry. Brain is working - :flower1:

Isn't there a service for special events that a family can solicit to get items made just for a family event. I don't off hand remember the name of the service but I thought they can put names, etc. on all sorts of items. Maybe that could be useful. We are, after all, a big family.

Bill: I spoke with the marketing dept. rep. at great length. He was actually the one that is heading the cruise and knew what I wanted for us. That is when he suggested that I buy a couple hundred of shirts within the park and then we could put whatever else we wanted on them. That's okay - we'll get our shirts and they will be nice. :badpc:

I have the advertising department company working on them already.

Good morning Cruisers!
We sail in 38 weeks!

Good morning everyone!

Another week has flown by! As many of you know Mark and I are sailing on the Disney Magic for the holidays. Our cruise is filled with a lot of great DIS'ers (we're the chatty bunch that has over 22,000 posts!).

We sail in just 6 days and Mark and I leave for Vero Beach (where we own but have never stayed) in just 5 days. So if you don't see us around much until after the first of the year you'll know why.

Mark will try to do his daily updates from the Magic so look for those and I will do my best to get back here the next two Sundays and update the countdown. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up in case you try to e-mail us during that time span and we don't get back to you right away!

Dan: Great start with that language. Along the lines I was thinking also. It will all come about. I am actually excited about the shirts for all of us.

Mark and Mary, I am sure you guys will have a great trip. I wonder what it would be like not to celebrate Christmas while on vacation? Could be fun, during the past 25 years either Lynn or I usually ended up working.

Yea - Now you have the "anticipation" of all of us waiting. Great to be put on a waitlist. It usually always comes through. My family waitlist all the time and never have we gotten what we wanted.
