Did anyone notice how many Midwesterners we have going on the Member Cruise. Very cool.

Mary , I noticed that too! I think we know that summer is normaly fading about the time of this cruise. We have to go where the sun is! MI and IL seems to leading the count right now!

Good morning everyone!

We are another week closer to sailing! Is everyone packed and ready? Just kidding!

I'm a little green with envy for all of you getting to WDW in early December. It is a wonderful time of year there. Not too green however because the only reason we're missing it is to go on the 10 day cruise and we do get to spend one day at WDW on the way home!

I received my confirmation papers yesterday. I actually received 2 of them, which I thought was odd. Anyway, I need to call MS on Monday because they put my youngest DDs birthday on the same day as my DH. It was supposed to be DH on 4/22 and DD on 4/28, but they put DD on the 22nd also. Easy change to make, I'm sure!

Also, we had a garage sale in our neighborhood yesterday and DH and I decided that all proceeds would go into the S.S. Member Cruise spending fund and we made about $500. We are just so excited, especially since we don't have to worry about gratuities.

I also received our conformation letter and it has my maiden name on it. My dh said that when he booked it they said it had to be in the name on my birth cert. Is that right? All my other id is in my married name? It just seemed strange to me.

bcvprincess, mine is listed with my married name. I have never had a problem with my BC showing my maiden name and my id with my married name. I would call them tomorrow and have them change it or at least add your married name to it.

To all of you going the first of December - have a great time. That is my favorite time to go! I did pass it by John last night about surprising me with a short trip down there the first week of December, but he didn't buy it. We will be down there in Dec 2005 tho.

Hmmmm, interesting. I have never had a problem with my married name. I have cruised on two DCL, and both times, used my BC and nothing was said either way. I would call MS and get it straightened out. because you DO have to show ID and your ID won't match the name on the reservation. The BC date matches the birthdate on your ID, that is why the name can be different.

We got all three of our confirmations on the same day (cruise, before cruise stay and after cruise stay).

Mary - ours says Key West - wonder why yours would say Nassau Do you think they found your KTTW card? (that's me ducking because I know Mary is going to throw something at me.

We recieved our confirmation on Sat.

We had no problem with the birth cert. in the maiden name and ID in married name when we went on our Eastern cruise in Feb.

As a matter of fact, we even asked the CM when we booked this time. She said it was fine either way.

Our itinerary says Key West also.

Nothing here yet on the North Coast. I am awaiting confirmation for another event that others are receiving their info and not me. (I am walking the 1/2 marathon in WDW January) I hope the mail gets here soon. I feel so disappointed when I open the mail door and NOTHING. Now further disappointment. Sigh. I don't know what DH said about my name. I know last Member's cruise they had my first name incorrectly spelled. I had it on my neck missing an "L".

I hope to get things to check that all is in order. DH did call and he said they confirmed our info. I didn't ask him to check my name.

We spent today reviewing our Member Cruise album. It was a pleasant day.

We just got back from Fort Wilderness today and found our envelope with the reservations in it.

I don't know if we got our as we are in FL. Venice, FL, checking on property in Punta Gorda area.

Would be a nice surprise when we pick up the mail when we get home.

Our confirmation came Saturday. It's starting to feel a bit more real.

When I booked, the CM did not ask me my maiden name. I would have remember that. Our confirmation also says Key West.

We'll be staying at SSR before and after the cruise. Flying down on Saturday before and leaving the Sunday after.

The bad news is this will be our only trip to WDW next year. At least that's the plan as of right now.

Seems that I have received a confirmation from DCL and not from DVC yet - thus the confusion (maybe). I'll be calling to see what's up with that!

I wouldn't throw anything at you Mary (my good friend?). I enjoy that I will not be forgotten so easily - LOL!
