Whew!! I'm exhausted!! Emily had her birthday party today! We had an Ariel bounce house, and luckily the rain held off long enough for the kids to bounce for a while. But, sadly we had to eat inside, because the ground was just too wet. So, my house was a little crowded. But, everyone seemed to have a LOT of fun!!

We have a neighborhood block party that starts in 10 minutes, but I think that we're not going to go for an hour or so. The girls just need to nap for a little while.

Yes I did get one! It was a great deal and we needed a TV for the guest room, so I'm just going to switch that one with my little office tv and take Mickey for myself! The page isn't working for me now either......must be the DIS'ers broke sears.com!

Here's my TV story, copy and pasted from the budget board:

Well, I went to the mall. I had called ahead, had them hold one. Verified the item number (twice) and when I got there there was no TV--and NOTHING being held for me-- and no one that would admit to having talked to me. I ended up with the department manager, and then the store manager. No one could get me the TV. I figured they were sold out, but now the big beef was that somone told me they HAD them in stock and told me they were HOLDING one for me. So I drove 45 minutes for nothing. The guy wanted to do more checking, and my kids were starving, so he took my cell phone number. When I got the call, he basically said what I"m reading here....price mistake, not honoring anything, etc etc. I said OK, but they need to look into who it was who told me the WRONG info and who lied about holding anything for me (wasn't even holding the small one)

I wish they would have offered me the smaller one for $56. I'd have taken that at that price. Maybe I should call them and see.

But I do NOT want to go back to the mall!

OK, so my house is now about 95% back to normal. My garbage is full, and Emily has a HUGE LOAD of presents. And, surprisingly, not a single duplicate. My mom made her the Ariel "married" dress, at least that's what Emily calls Ariel's wedding dress. Anyway, she looks just like Ariel at the end of the Little Mermaid. Too, too cute!! However, it's hard to see my 4yo in a wedding dress, even if it is Ariel's.

Aww--I'm so sad now, I REALLY wanted a Mickey TV for $30! It just goes to show you, if it seems to good to be true, it is. But can you imagine, it was supposed to say SAVE 29.97 and the price was 29.97! I'm just mad that some people got them for that price!!

Call in day is 8 weeks away!

I can't wait until then. I already forewarned Mom & Dad that they WILL be having breakfast (and lunch if need be) at my house that day. Price of Breakfast is cell phone and chargers. The more phones I have here dialing the better! I don't want to miss the ship!

Edited to add : Maybe I should make a party of it and make my special Creme Brulee french toast and Invite Diana, Bruce, Emma, & Julia over too!

We almost ate there Thursday night but we ended up at Ruby Tuesdays. Last night we had appetizers for dinner and played board games.

The last time that we did it, Chris, Emily and Madison all had it done. It was Maddie's first haircut. Then, Chris always likes to get a Mickey head in colored gel in the back, along with colored spikes on top. He's definitely a kid at heart. And to think, he's only 1.5 yrs to 40!!!
