You know what cracks me up about all of this. If I understood this correctly, the driver's aren't even responsible for cleaning up the bus.....someone else has that job.

So, what would it have mattered. :confused3

Dan's a control freak! :rotfl:

Isn't there a Mickey smoothie machine. I thought I saw one and wanted to buy it, but John looked at me like I had two heads - must be because I already have a regular one that I just got for my birthday

There is one. Target has it. But it just looks like Mickey it doesn't actually have Mickey on it.....and it was twice as much as the regular smoothie maker so DH said I had to get the plain old ordinary one. He said, come on....it doesn't even have Mickey on it, you don't drink that many smoothies....get the regular one.

Ah, yes. Reminds me of our 10 day cruise when we were driving and another DISer was flying. Seems he had no way to get his 2 foot tall Spode Christmas tree home in his luggage so we drove it home for him (we're in OH, he's in WV)

FINALLY, last month, we got together and he paid me the ransom for his Christmas tree!! ;)

Ransom? :scared:

Mary, is there ransom to be paid for the return of my box that you and Mark so graciously brought home??

We had early seating and arrived at WL at 2:30.

We got to WL around 2:30-ish....and we were some of the "port Canaveral to pick up car first" people.

I talked to dh about your bus experience (no snacks, cell phone driving, taking way to long to get there)...He said he'd write a letter to DCL....and mention the snack thing, but really focus on the cell phone thing. That's just a safety issue and DCL needs to know about "Dan." :)

You gotta love Diser's always so helpful, even if they hold your things ransom :rotfl2:

Mary even took my litho's in with them when they stopped, because she didn't want the heat and humidity in her car messing them up. :goodvibes

Yes, there is. Kids wanted to get that. And the Mickey popcorn machine. I had to explain that we make MICROWAVE popcorn and the Mickey popcorn machine would never get used---and would take up way more room than I have!

Now, if I could get my hands on one of the WDW popcorn machines that "strategically vent" their popcorn smells around...THAT would be cool. I'd MAKE ROOM for that!

I decided I'm not going to write a letter and I'm going with the "laughter is the best medicine" route. I said this before, and I'll say it again. We were in a crappy situation and DCL and DVC did a phenomenal job. Dan---well, Dan was a loser bus driver, but he certainly created some "magical memories" for me on this trip! :rotfl2: We got there safely and that's all that matters.

Yeah, now aren't you glad you didn't ast ME to bring anything home for you?

No, seriously. There was no ransom. It was all in fun....everyone kept referring to how I was holding his tree hostage!! :)

Ok, I'm a dunce. Exactly what kind of smoothies does a smootie maker make? I have learned Konk Coolers...but are we talking smashed fruity ones or ice creamy/milk shakey ones or like frozen cokey ones?

Well, for you, Ms. State up North, the ransom would have DOUBLED. And I wouldn't have delievered the stuff, you'd have to have come and gotten it yourself. ;) ;) :rotfl2:

Yeah, that's why I had another "State up North" person bring my stuff home :rotfl:

So you would actually let someone from the state up north come to your house!!!! :cool1:

Are you kidding? No way. They'd be scared off by my Buckeye Flag, my Buckeye "welcome mat," and various and sundry other "nut" mascot things!! :)

I now know why you didn't have money for the bellman...you hadn't converted your foreign currency (MI) to US dollars!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Well, most people I assume, make great healthy smoothies with fruit and yogurt. Personally, my smoothie maker only makes frozen alcohol drinks like lemonade type slushies and margaritas. It's pretty much a glorified blender with a spout. But it crushes up the ice a lot finer than a regular blender so it's more like a slushie!

The first day, Walker would flush. But after that, he wouldn't anymore. He'd drop down the seat and run out of the bathroom as fast as he could -- without even attempting to flush. I think he thought it would do it on its own -- Mickey Magic or something. :p
Cindy, that reminds me of the first time we stayed at VWL. My DD, who was 15 at the time said, "Wow! Those must be atomic toilets in there!" We've called them that ever since.

Remember how we all talked about the fear that our house would burn down while we were on vacation? Well, I was just reading a story to Nick, sitting on the couch, and I looked out our front window. We have a light that is flush with the ?soffit? of our porch (the ceiling of our porch) There have been birds living in it for a couple of years---there is only about a 1/2 in gap in one side, but they squeeze in and make a nest. Well, I looked out and the glass is broken, you can see charred nest, and the remaining glass looks scorched!!!!! YIKES!

That's really scary. Because that means, no matter how much unplugging I do, birds can come and burn down my house! :earseek:

What a vacation...I come home to mice pooping all over my house and birds trying to commit arson! *@&%#*) wildlife!!!

That's because a $20 bill is foreign to those "nuts" er....I mean those Buckeyes! :teeth: But I will have to admit, even when an Up North State person needs help those "nuts" are still willing to give a helping hand or dollar!! :goodvibes

other "nut" mascot things!! :)
This says it all!!!! :rotfl:

Yeah, even though you are the *enemy* I'll always be there for you if you need a hand! :) See, with my lousy memory, I'll forget it was YOU who was from MI! I'm never good at putting names with faces....now add screen names to that and I'm toast. That's one of the reasons that I never cruise without Mark and Mary.....I live for the buttons!! :)
