I thought the Window Clings were cool and would have liked one but when we saw it on the desk there was a crowd of people around. The next time I went by they were gone. Should have grabbed one or two when I had the chance. That's ok we got so many other cool things.

It was the neat little touches that made it special.

And, I truly do not have 4 full sets as we accidently didn't dig deep enough to find the boxes at the bottom of the pile. We really thought it was all confetti, paper filling. Maybe I'll see one of Mary's when we get together. ;)

What box? Maybe I missed something too. Although I took all the confetti out to flatten the zip box thingy.

And yes, I'm not talking about anyone specific on this thread. I have just seen some pretty crazy stuff sold on ebay (the window clings for Golden Mickey's for example) and I shake my head b/c I don't think those are meant to be taken....and it just raises the cruise price for EVERYONE. :(

Karen - the zip box thingy is what Cindy threw away. :( She didn't realize they were nice fabric covered boxes.

I've already put mine to use next to my computer to hold magazines etc.

Hi everyone!
I was just wondering, was anyone else here on my bus? I was on the bus with the leaking air conditioner. It was a DCL bus. The condensation hose was disconnected over head. Nobody could put their carry-ons overhead on the left side of the bus. Everytime the driver would slowdown all of the water would flow foreward and poor down on him. :umbrella: He was a good sport, and a good driver it didn't distrast him. At least I don't think it did I was close to the back. I could only see the water comming down on him. We stopped at a rest area and another bus driver looked at it and said that they could not fix it, they would have to get a mechanic. Everyone kinda moaned. I don't know what happened next, it wasn't fixed but we left anyway. By the time we got to Port Canaveral, it was dripping on quite a few passangers, my husband included. We were all happy to get into our car and continue our trip to the BCV. Unfortunately we left one of our bags at the port. I asked my DH if we had everything, all of the bags. He said yes. (Note to self always count the bags, checked and carry-on myself.) We got the bag the next day some time before 5. No big deal. This was the only bad day that we had on what was a 2 week vacation. It was the best vacation my family has ever taken. :cheer2:

Now I know where to look when we get together. ;)

AWWWW, that stinks. I'm not sure I'd have known it was a box like that if someone hadn't said something about it zipping up.

Don't worry - we'll show you. I'm warning you however that the computer room is the messiest room in the house!

Mark did a good job of analyzing everything in the gift basket for his side by side picture. That's how I knew what it was. He showed me how they zipped up with made them super easy to pack!

It can NOT be messier than our office. Have you seen the show Clean Sweep? Well, that's MY office/scrap room. It's a DISASTER!!! There is stuff all over the desks, floor, everywhere. That's where those Mickey boxes are going to come in handy!!!

Between the rabbits, the dog, my own kids, the 6 daycare kids, mess is just normal around here. :rolleyes1

I won't even notice. I can promise you that.

While it doesn't look like ANY of the rooms on Clean Sweep it could defiantely use a good purging.

I didn't realize that they zipped up until later. My first thought was, "what a COOL box, I'm going to use this in the office to get organized. Geez, how am I going to pack 4 of them, though??" Then later, after I took all the filling out, I was delighted to see that they would zip up and pack flat!!!

Hi everyone! :wave2:

Finally done unpacking and most of the stuff has found a place in this messy home.

It was fun to see John and Gail again yesterday - hope the bags really were yours Gail - LOL. I was a bit fanatical about everything getting back to Michigan safe and sound.

Guess we'll be busy sharing ideas for next years cruise - hopefully all will go well for those of us who want to cruise again.

Glad we got to cruise when we did - seems there's some storms a brewing out there and they don't look too friendly.

Besides i know you will be much more interested in the kitchen where the smoothie maker will be set up. We bought the fixings for Konk Koolers (minus to rum).

Luckily, the office is the only room that seems to look like that, besides the garage. The rest of the house can get cluttered, but the office is downright MESSY!!! But, my mission is to get (at least my stuff) organized. I can't be held responsible for Chris' mess. :rotfl2:

But, I do have to say that I'm getting pretty good at purging. Between getting inspiration by watching Clean Sweep & Mission: Organization and my daily emails from FlyLady.net, I'm getting good at getting rid of the unwanted stuff.

I tried flylady once. I could hardly keep up with all the emails they sent me. It certainly didn't inspire me to clean/organize more.

In the beginning, I had a really hard time, but I'm getting better. I've learning to keep most of my FlyLady reminders on my daily checklist, and I just delete the emails that I don't really need.

Did you all see this?? We certainly got some valuable stuff. Multiple this by the 4 sets we have, and it's enough to pay for one of us next cruise (NOT that I'm going to do that).

I hope it went to someone who will really enjoy the items! :goodvibes

Congratulations to Brenda on the sale!!

I see that Beth has one out there climbing in price also. Good luck with that!! :wizard:

YIKES!! And I went and gave my friend almost everything that was in that auction.....I'm gonna call her right now and ask for some cash! :rotfl2:

I agree with everyone's thoughts on taking the free stuff available and selling it for top dollar (luggage tags, planning videos, park maps, brochures) I have pretty strong feelings about that kind of stuff and personally, I think it's completely unethical. It's one thing to sell something like pins or clocks or lithographs. I was joking with someone the other day saying pretty soon we'll see a roll of toilet paper on ebay--exclusive rare hard to find DCL toilet paper......starting bid 19.99......going fast, get it now. I think some people are just plain pathetic.

Yeah, going fast is right. Especially when it's flushed down one of the DCL toilets!! Going REALLY fast!
