Nope, I remembered! ;) But since I live a little ways off the highway, and you can't say the word "Schenectady". You'll never find me! :rotfl2:

Ahhhh, but I am a woman and I WILL ask directions!! Unlike someone else who has a drivers license and lives in our house. :rolleyes1

Did I forget to tell you the story of how our 25# dog can drive the car? :rolleyes1 :rotfl2:

WOW!! He should be on that show on the Animal Planet channel---Pet Star is it?? :rotfl2:

Many, many years ago, we had this little toy poodle who would love to ride in the car with my mom. The dog wanted to see where she was driving and took a liking to climbing up on my Mom's lap and looking out the drivers side window using my Mom's arm as a place to rest it's front legs. One day, my Mom goes out to do whatever and takes the dog with her. They are driving along and my Mom gets pulled over. The police officer asked her if the dog had a drivers license!?!

That was the end of that, the dog rode in the passengers seat from that time on.

Hi Michele! Pull any dogs over lately? ;)

Ahhhh, yes, but I am older and wiser now and besides, I know how to read a map unlike someone else who has a drivers license and lives in our house. :rolleyes1 And, oh yes Diana, I do read the boards :wave2: :listen:

Sweet (Disney) dreams everyone.

I can say the 4 towels were not enough for us! We LOVE Disney Towels for some strange reason. We have the Castaway Club towel and that sucker goes everywhere with us. I was so happy to see the DVC Towels of the same type.

And I've already set aside one of the totebags full of "one of each" gifts that we got (except the towel--NO ONE gets my towel!) for a good friend of mine who is also a DVC member. They are coming over tomorrow with their DD to play with my DDs and I'm going to surprise them! They are gonna freak out when they see the litho!!

Diana - that is really sweet. I'm sure they will love it!

Welcome Home Karen!

Cindy & Gary - we have the konk kooler recipe and a smoothie maker as well. I always make virgin ones for Mark, but if you want full strength let me know and I'll pick up some rum. Now we just have to plan on when we can get together (and I need to get the house cleaned) :)

BTW - Mary and I made it into chat last night. Not as big a group as some nights but still good. We got a little sidetracked with some real life instead of cruise talk.

I hope to make DVC chat on Sunday.

I gave a whole set of what we got on the cruise to my mom cause she watched our little one the whole week. She already got the print of Duckie Williams framed faster than I did. I also gave my aunt some stuff but not all. I kept the rest. I told her that she was going on the next cruise with me and she is excited.....Since I have to get two rooms cause were 5 why not bring her.....

Diana, I think you called Gary last night after I was asleep. :rotfl:

Mary, I'm not sure I can tell the difference with or without rum. We're not big on drinking and driving (which I think is part of why we enjoyed the cruise drinks so much -- always a designated driver there ;) ).

Then virgin konk koolers it will be (easier on me as I just need one batch). :)

Mary, what is in them? They are the smoothest drink that I can remember having. Is it ice cream based?

I don't know why this struck me as being so funny. :rotfl2: Could you imagine someone posting, well, I just LOVE to drink and drive?? :rotfl: Well, I guess it's pretty early and I need some coffee or something, cause I'm obviously in a weird mood.

Cindy--I have a batphone to Gary (kind of like Mary's DVC batphone) and I tell him when you haven't been saying nice things about him! :rotfl2:

And that konk kooler recipe was on this thread somewhere....probably about 8000 or so posts ago! :rotfl2:

Think the smooth part comes from the Cream of Coconut.

Here's the recipe:

1/2 can cream of coconut
3 ounces light rum
3 ounces dark rum
1/2 of a 12oz can frozen passion fruit juice concentrate(Welches)
4 oz of orange juice
2-3 cups of ice
Add all together in a blender until very fine and smooth

I found the recipe ::yes:: .....but no picture. :sad2:

Konk Kooler

Ingredients:

1/2 oz. dark rum
3/4 oz. light rum
1 oz. passion fruit juice
1 oz. piña colada mix
1 oz. orange juice
Directions:

Place all ingredients in a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously
Serve in a tall glass filled with crushed ice. Garnish with a wedge of tropical fruit

It was you who posted the recipe! :rotfl2: No ice cream. But I can tell you that my Walmart has the passion fruit juice. It's made by Welch's.

Has anyone taken the print to be framed? I'm looking for an approximate price. Coupons that say 25-50% off are pretty worthless in trying to estimate a cost. I want to frame them both, one for Ohio and one for Cape May.

Bobbi :flower:

PS. to all we met! We had the most wonderful time on the cruise. We're sorry to miss the next one, but we'll be putting points aside with the hope of going on the '07 one, if they have one.

I meant to try one of those Konk Koolers at CC but somehow got sidetracked as usual - I will have to try the virgin recipe sometime.

It was great to chat a little about the cruise - past and future last night but I was so tired I had to leave early. Hope to see you in DVC chat on Sunday Mary!

We are thinking of taking our print in to be framed and add another mat with all the pins into it. I think that would look really nice. I just don't know what color mat I want and what color frame. Any ideas?
