Maybe that tells us just how many lurkers are out on the DIS. Even store buyers are starting to cater towards our whims. :rotfl2:
That MUST be what it is. Everyone just wants to be a part of our group. :rotfl2:

Well, I'm off to bring Emily to school. Then, I'm going to drop by Target again (not WalMart!!!) for the 3rd time this week. Plus, I need to drop off the disposable cameras from the trip.

Chris and Madison are doing better. They've been sick since the cruise. Madison is being treated with antibiotics for a sinus infection, but she seems to be better, finally (except for the side effect that's causing her to get a diaper rash, poor thing).

We're heading to WDW tomorrow, so if anyone forgot to pick up a souvenier, etc, let me know by tonight.

Have fun at WDW! I miss it already and don't think we'll be back until after the next Member Cruise!

At least we have Disneyland in December to look forward to!

I got this in an e-mail from Grandma Lightbulb and thought it was so powerful that it should be shared with eveyone on this great thread.

15 Things You Probably Never Knew or Thought About
1. At least 5 people in this world love you so much they would die for you.
2. At least 15 people in this world love you in some way.
3. The only reason anyone would ever hate you is because they want to be just like you.
4. A smile from you can bring happiness to anyone, even if they don't like you.
5. Every night, SOMEONE thinks about you before they go to sleep.
6. You mean the world to someone.
7. If not for you, someone may not be living.
8. You are special and unique.
9. Someone that you don't even know exists loves you.
10. When you make the biggest mistake ever, something good comes from it.
11. When you think the world has turned its back on you, take a look: you most likely turned your back on the world.
12. When you think you have no chance of getting what you want, you probably won't get it, but if you believe in yourself, probably, sooner or later, you will get it.
13. Always remember the compliments you received. Forget about the rude
remarks.
14. Always tell someone how you feel about them; you will feel much better
when they know.
15. If you have a great friend, take the time to let them know that they are
great.
A Minute: They say it takes a minute to find a special person, an hour
to appreciate them, a day to love them, but then an entire life to forget
them.
Take the time ... to live and love.
Send this letter to all the people you care about.
If you do so, You will certainly brighten someone's day and might change
their perspective on life, for the better.

I've been back home since Monday, but am just now getting around to posting. I promised myself I wouldn't post until I read ALL the pages that I missed, and between going back to work on Tuesday and all that reading, I finally finished.

What an awesome cruise! My only regret was that my DH wasn't there to enjoy it with me! I'm going to try to convince him to go with me for the next one. We always go to WDW for the F & WF and since it falls right at that time, it shouldn't be too difficult!

It was great getting to meet so many of you. It's my hope that I can get to know all of you better in the future. I feel like I have a nodding aquaintence with you but would like to be able to count you as a friend, too. Highlights of the trip for me were:

1. Jim Lewis' presentation---afterwards he was in line behind us at Beach Blanket Buffet and recognized us as being the people from Southern Indiana. We found out that as a child he vacationed less than an hour from our home town.

2. Seeing Art Linkletter and getting my mother's Art Linkletter books autographed!

3. Relaxing at Castaway Cay....too bad the rain cut it short!

4. Finding special surprises from DISers at my stateroom door.....gotta say the Henry magnet and the foot fetish bag were my favorites!

Here's to cruising together again in 2006! :cheer2:

It's not me....but I noticed they didn't include the lithograph. :confused3
But you're right....everything else is there!

The litho is listed under a seperate auction and it's going for like $77 now. The only thing missing is the Mickey Box all the stuff came in. That must have been the one thing they liked!

Or else the box got left on the ship. We actually saw two of those boxes out in the hall for the cabin attendant to pick up with the trash! :earseek:

You really can't put a price on memories and the momentos tied to those memories. Maybe it was someone who had several kids and received 4 or 5 of everything.

The boxes actually folded down to about nothing! Just unzip and fold up.

Kay....just wanted to let you know that I received your postcard from Castaway Cay in the mail today. That Bahamian mail sure does take its sweet time, mon!

Wow...it is amazing what people are willing to sell and even more amazing what people are willing to buy! We received 4 of everything but I'm just going to keep the girls items for when they are older. I figure they will appreciate them later.

I'm new in June and I never thought to see if there was a special thread started for the cruise--and then I noticed the t-shirts on the trip. Sorry I missed y'all! I was in 7507 with my mom and kids... Looks like right next to Jenny0725.

Hopefully next go 'round, I can join on the festivities!

I hope that we weren't too loud! I don't think we ever saw any of our neighbors! We must have been coming and going at different times.

OK, which one of you is selling everything but the kitchen sink in this auction? :rotfl2: http://cgi.ebay.com/Disney-Vacation-Club-SS-Member-Cruise-Lot_W0QQitemZ6561450903QQcategoryZ38006QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem I mean....even the CC picture!! Anything that wasn't nailed down on the ship....going...going...gone to the highest bidder! Gotta love ebay! :rotfl:

I was wondering how long it would take for something to show up on ebay.
It's definately not me!
I'm keeping everything, I'm such a pack rat!
:wave2:

There are two different people sellings "lots" of the goodies.

Isn't us. We love all the goodies we got and we're keeping them!

We left 4 of them out for the trash. :earseek:

I just didn't dig deep enough to know they were there. :confused3

Maybe I'll just buy 2 from ebay so my kids can have a full set....

I have tried everything everyone suggested to try and get the stains out of my SS Member shirt -- oxy clean, palmolive, bleach pen, some laundry bar soap that my neighbor gave me years ago. No luck.

Does anyone else have any other ideas?

I don't have any ideas....but I think there is some sort of laundry hex on those shirts! :rotfl2: Bruce did the laundry when we got back.....well, he did one load.....with Emma's tie dye Mickey shirt and his Happiest Celebration at Sea shirt....do I need to go any further?? Yes, the shirt is now pink. I've bleached it 3 times now, and the pink has faded, but there is still a pink tone to the shirt.

Hey Mary--can you pick up the bat phone and request next years shirts....whether we buy them or they are gifts.....can they be a color (any color will do) like the first years shirts?..... Those are much harder to destroy! :rotfl2:

I wore mine under my Pirate costume and it now has lovely burgundy splotches all over it!. But I will wear it under the costume from now on, at least it will remind me of the great fun we had!
