If I sent this to DVC, they would probably BAN me from the next member cruise. And I sure don't want that to happen!! I took over 600 pictures....I'm sure there is one I could submit.

I almost don't want to say how many picture I downloaded off my cameras. We didn't even go into the parks after the cruise.
As of right now I have 872 pictures but I have to delete all the blurry/fuzzy ones.
Unfortunately some of the picture from the shows didn't always come out.
Oh and I almost forgot. I need to get the pictures developed from the disposable waterproof camera we brought in the water at Castaway Cay.
20 or so more pictures there! :smooth:

Let's see who is still reading the thread. Another GTKYKFC :)

1) What is the one thing you did that you didn't think you would on the cruise?

2) What is the one thing you didn't do that you thought you would on the cruise?

3) What is your favorite memory of the cruise?

1. Eat so much. I have been doing Weight Watchers and had to weight in last night. I gained 2.6 pounds, that's with even using the stairs instead of the elevator!

2. I never had a Konk Kooler. Oh well I think that is a perfectly good excuse to go on the next member cruise.

3. My favorite memory can not be narrowed down to one thing. The whole cruise itself was memorable (especially since it was our first). Meeting so many wonderful Dis board friends in person finally!

Call this a Member Cruise 2005 post cruise meet or a Member Cruise 2006 pre-cruise meet. Having fun at Cape May Cafe!

Yep, YUM!!

That was the more than generous 1# of crab legs for $11.99.

We certainly don't get them like that here in the Chicago area for that price.

I had a tough time getting anyone to help me devour them -- so what was I suppose to do --- I was forced to eat them myself.

YUM!

Mary didn't even tell you about the clams. My first try of them and they were wonderful too!

Let's just say, it's a good thing Cape May isn't close by or we'd dine there very frequently!

Awww, cute pics!!! Those crab legs look very yummy!!!!

What are the dates of Columbus Day weekend? We might be able to come over for the day.

We fly into Orlando Thursday, 10/6. We're staying until Monday, 10/10.

I'm certain without Walker's shopping tactics and Gary's picture taking, Cameron and I will be able to do a lot of rides. I also hope to get over to DTD and do some shopping. I'm usually done by the end of October with all of my Christmas shopping. Somehow I think I'm not going to make it this year.

Maybe I'll just tuck cruise confirmations into my families stocking this year and leave it at that!! I wouldn't mind finding an extra one in my stocking, that's for certain!

I do have one comment about the cruise as a parent of a 5 year old shopper. I was so greatful that there were not a lot of shops and trickets to be had. Walker loves each and every one of them and could spend hours looking at them and figuring out which one he wants. We tend to spend a lot of time doing that at WDW but not on the cruise. It was not something I missed at all! ;)

Well, unless Cameron wants to leave WDW to go to a Little Mermaid 4th birthday party for Emily, we can't meet up on the 8th. We might be able to come over on the 9th. Or, I can leave Emily and Chris at home and come over with Madison on the 7th (no, I'll probably be frantically cleaning for the party). We'll see if we can do the 9th.

Amy, when is Emily's actual birthday?

Her birthday is October 5th.

I thought we spent a week together and didn't get around to figuring out that our children had the same birthday's. But, I see that's not the case.

Cameron's is October 8th. We'll celebrate at Ohana's that night for dinner. I hope we don't end up with whatshisname CM server that night!

Nope, but they are close. I'm guessing that this is a birthday trip for Cameron??? What are your plans for Sunday? I'd hate to intrude on something that you have planned.

We have no real plans. Just going to take it day by day and see where it takes us. That's what I love about DVC the most. We always know that we are going back so we are not the regular commando traveler. We love to do the parks but know we don't have to rush to see everything.

We had some great moments this trip because of that. Sunday morning, we rode BTMRR several times in a row. We didn't even have to exit the ride. There was no one in line. After the 3-4th time, Gary said, aren't we getting off, I'm not sure how much more I can take of this. But, we didn't want to get off, because those opprotunities are not there very often.

We did the same thing on Peter Pan and Kali River over at AK. We weren't even really wet after the first ride on Kali River. But when there wasn't a line and we asked if we could just go back on, we did it several more times. To the point where the CM working at the front would say "how many" as in your party, look at us and smile again. I just kept saying to her "it's still not busy so we have to continue to ride".

DVC has taught us to be a better WDW visitor.....that is for certain.

How big of a memory card did you have? I filled my card, then had them burn a CD at Shutters, filled it again, and then took pictures with my old camera.

We'll have to plan a night for you guys to come over and we can make our own konk koolers.....the pool is closed though!

Cool, well we'll have to try to see if we can go over on Sunday. We'll just tag-a-long with whatever you guys are doing.

I feel so left out! I'll probably be here digging out from a snowstorm that day! :rotfl2:
