I"m very excited this morning. I finally convinced my cruise buddies to do the Pirate hunt on Sat night! WOO HOO! So we are all signed up. Who else is doing the hunt?

I've tried hard to keep up with this thread and search for topics, but it put my brain on tilt! You all are great and I can't wait to meet you all. Just can't keep up with all the different topics on here.

So is there a Pirate hunt list?

I wanted to be at 9000 by tonight's cruise chat. Heck, we might be 1/2 way to 10,000 by tonight.

I went to help my Dh at his office yesterday afternoon. We worked well into the evening, and by the time we got home, all I could do was brush my teeth and get ready for bed. When I signed onto the boards this morning there were 30 pages to catch up on!

Not to brag or anything, but do I win a prize or anything for correctly guessing that Art Linkletter would be the special guest from the Disneyland opening ceremonies? I found my Art Linkletter books Kids Say the Darndest Things (copyright 1957) andKids Still Say the Darndest Things (copyright 1961) and will be bringing them on the cruise just in case I can get them autographed! I read these books when I was probably about 10 years old, and they are one of the things I saved from my mom's home after she passed away.

DH is a big Art Linkletter fan, so when he hears this he'll wish he was going with me instead of my sister!

WOW!!! I go to bed early and wake up to 6 pages to read!!!

Well, it's official, we're all sick with colds. Emily is coughing and has a stuffy nose. Chris has a sore throat. I'm all stuffed up. I'm sure when Maddie wakes up, she'll be sick too. At least we have a week to get healthy!!!

Oh no! I hope everyone is better soon. Not very encouraging for us since DD hasn't even started school yet.

Gary had a nice chat with Cameron's teacher and he's all set to go. Some work will come home ahead of time, the rest will be expected to be done when we return.

Our last hurdle has been jumped.

ok, so fill all of us in: Where's TZ and what's a TVB?

Don't know if anyone has answered-I haven't read any further than this post today and there are about 10 more to go, so

TZ is the Tappan Zee bridge, which crosses the Hudson River connecting Westchester, NY (Tarrytown) to Rockland, NY ( NYack). BTW Rosie O'Donnell lives in Nyack.

The VNB is the Verrazzano Narrows Bridge whcich connects bay ridge Brooklyn to Staten Island, where Diana used to live.

I have a small laminated card that I used last cruise (my passport has expired). Before I make a trip 2 counties and MANY cornfields away, I am curious, has anyone used this type card recently?

My husband also has a small laminated card (with the seal) and has never had a problem with it. We have been on several cruises and the Bahamas.

It must be an Indiana thing since that is where he was born. I don't think they have them in Illinois.

Well I just reserved our transporation to and from the resort and the port. I'm getting so excited! Think that covers everything!
