YET ANOTHER REASON TO MOVE TO FLA!

I would love to be a car ride away from WDW--I am a carride -a 2 day carride!! I mean a few hours.

Yeah, it's a pretty great perk for living in FL, especially since we're such big Disney fans.

As much as I would like to have a by my name, you'd better just put me down for a for now. I have to convince DH to go with me this time instead of my sister. The date is a great one though. We go to WDW for the Food and Wine Festival every year and since the cruise falls within those dates, it should be easy to get him to go! We'll just add one trip onto the other!

I just read this in my All Ears newsletter....

Every day in the month of October one little girl visiting the Magic Kingdom will be chosen at random as a "Cinderella Honorary Princess of the Day" to celebrate the October 4 DVD release of the motion picture "Cinderella." The chosen princess will receive a Cinderella gown and tiara, as well as a ride in Cinderella's horse-drawn coach in an honorary princess procession ahead of the 3 p.m. parade, accompanied by banner carriers, coachmen and Cinderella's mice, Suzy and Perla. The honorary princess have a private meeting with Cinderella, and will also receive a copy of "Cinderella" on DVD.

Amy - Since you are so close I'm sure you will be there in October! I wish we were close enough to go! It sounds so cute!

Did I tell you Bruce almost cut off his finger yesterday with the hedge clippers?? He had 4 gashes on 1 finger and a bunch of stitches.....he's lucky he still has a finger.

Glad we won't be there. If KT got chosen she'd be very upset. She still holds a grudge against Cinderella!!

I got a price from them tonight. The basic price of the picture framed and double matted to have the pins framed with the picture was $315 before any discount.

Maybe it's a guy think that us women are not aware of but I didn't know a women on a riding mower was a sexy thing!?

Count Coleen and I in as trying to get a room on the next cruise. Coleen took one of the lithos and four pins in today to have them framed at Michaels. Dont know the total yet. We had two of the free prints of the resorts and she used them to get 70% off just did simple frames on them but most likely saved a bunch on the big one. I will post a pic when they are done.

That does sound cute, and we will be going at least a few days in October. Maybe she'll get lucky. She's really getting excited about Cinderella on DVD, because it comes out the day before her 4th birthday.

Labor intensive vs. $315? That's pretty much a no-brainer here since I'm saving every nickel I've got for more points!

Next member cruise: I doubt DH and I will be able to go. We made tentative plans to take my brother and sister-in-law to Disney the week after the member cruise. No way we can be gone that long -- or have the points to do it. Unless our guests decide they have to wait a year or so, we won't be there. But I'm hoping that Jim Lewis will announce another one in 2007! Isn't he just WONDERful???

Good morning all!! It was a very rough night last night!! I stayed up pretty late to clean up, vacuum, mop, dust, etc, because one of my sorority sisters from college is coming over this morning, since she's in town from Las Vegas. Well, I was just about to go to bed at 1am, and Madison is up crying. Chris and I tried everything. Finally, at about 3am, we just took her to our bed and eventually, she fell asleep. I don't know what was wrong, but at that time, we were all so exhausted, that we all 3 just crashed. She seems fine this morning, except for a little congestion, so that could have been why she couldn't sleep (couldn't breathe too well).

I'm hoping that the day gets a little better soon. I've got my Diet Coke to help keep me awake and my friend should be here soon. Then, when Madison takes a nap later, I know that I probably will too. I'm supposed to go to Lakeland (between Tampa & Orlando) to meet up with several other of my sorority sisters for dinner. Two have them just happened to come into town at the same time, so a bunch of us locals set up a dinner get together. Should be fun, but I'm so tired right now that I just can't get too excited.
