Oh sure your dad will have us all over for Thanksgiving but you won't buy us a drink! :rotfl2: Don't worry I don't drink!

You can over for Christmas.
I make a hell of a good Creme Brulee French Toast and put out a breakfast buffet! :drinking1

Doin' the Got our Docs! Dance
Oh Yeah!
DH is looking at them right now.
Have not checked the Cruise Line site. I am not sure we can as the last time it would not let me for some reason. Going there now.

I could have sworn that it was said that tipping was included in the price for this cruise only. I got the docs today and there's a page in the booklet that goes over the amount of times you should consider giving. So what's the real story here??? Thanks

Ok I have a favor to ask anyone who has already gotten their docs. What does your status on the Disney Cruise site say. I just looked at ours and it says "Booked".

They don't call me a worry wart for nothing.

I cannot even get the Disney Cruise Line site to let me in to check. I get a red message that they are unable to process my request or something like that and that I should call a human being.

We got our excursion confirmation SENT TO OUR OLD ADDRESS. I had changed our address with DVC and I thought I had changed it with Castaway Club but they still had our old address so guess what is winging it's way to the old house---THE DOCS!! So the DVC lady made the necessary changes and said UPS could use the tracking number to reroute the DOCS.

:confused3 I SURE HOPE SO - :confused3 - TALK ABOUT WORRY WARTS - :confused3 - I DON'T WANT ANYONE ELSE GETTING MY DOCS! :confused3

Mary, what are you looking for it to say?

Just curious.

I am glad so many of you are Doc Dancin! Ours arent here yet but they will be soon! Going to go Monday and start the Passport process so we have them for our Jan 28 cruise and I am still working on the 11 day.

Squid

Do you have a passport office near you or do you have to have your application sent away? Reason being, if they send away for it they send your birth certificate with the application. The lady at the post office told us they were coming back in about 3 weeks. Ours took 5 weeks and 6 days!

Keep working on the 11 day. We're booked and my sister is booking while on board the Aug repo cruise. The TA we used said he heard that Disney wasn't going to offer discounts for this cruise - but as we know everything is subject to change.

Rad, The story is the books are the generic DCL ones and still have the regular tipping guidelines in them. The main tipping IS included. You are still responsible for any minor tipping, such as for room service delivery or bar service drinks.

Yea I don't think so!
Nothing personel I love you guys but that money is bookmarked for the special pin & all the scrapbooking stuff they sell on the ship!!!
:jumping1:

$200 :earseek: for scrapbooking stuff and a pin.

I better redo what I think we are going to spend onboard.

Yikes :earseek: I don't see Stacy mention anything about buying pictures. :faint:

She was just concerned that it only said 'booked'. Not concerned so much now.

I bet the Cruise Doc booklets are the same for all cruises so that page is in there all the time. We are a special charter by DVC for Members Only so different arrangements have been made. The DVC site says tips are included. You may tip more if you feel someone deserves it. Many of us tip more than the suggested amount anyway so we appreciate having that list so we know how much DVC is covering and we can tuck a little extra in an envelope for special service.

IDEA: Bring along some thank you notes and leave notes with that extra tip (or instead of the tip since DVC is handling the money.) Let your crew know what you appreciated on this cruise. :cool1:

Tips are included. I would guess that the booklet is generic, so that wording was still in there.

:rotfl2: I had $200 earmarked for just pictures! :rotfl2: But I'm a sucker when it comes to pics of the girls.

Then of course there's the other $200 earmarked for konk koolers!! :rotfl: :rotfl:

chipscinderelly sorry!!! :goodvibes

Thanks Lisa and no worries - I didn't realize when I registered for the DIS that my name would be used for anything other than a log in... LOL ... and it's funny to see it in a variety of ways.

I forgot to mention.
Not only did I get my docs today but I got a nice phone call from Calandra at DVC's share the magic to say I should have a fedex tomorrow with $200 Disney Dollars for referring a friend who is now a proud DVC owner!!
WOO HOO!!! :cool1:

Congrats on the referral! :cheer2:

I'm still laughing that your dad didn't get his docs and we both got ours! :rotfl: Sorry, Fred!! :rotfl:

Sorry saw a post over on the main board about someone who had paid off their cruise and it still said "booked" so I thought it should say something different. Then after I posted others said it said "booked" up to the day it sailed. :)

Just being a worry wart!

eek! I guess I need to get another PT job $200 for pics, $200 for konk coolers, and $$$$$$ for stuff!
