What kind of luggage tags did you get for Magical Express? I just got these sticker things. Am I missing out on something?? I HATE to miss out on things!

I am wondering why I was never offered "Magical express" We were there in June for a weekend and I wasn't offered it then either. We rented a car.

I will tell you a short story about "Magical express". In June we Checked in late on Thursday evening , Around 7:30. We dropped the bags in the room atOKW, and drove to the Boardwalk to eat at a resteraunt. We ate , watched the EPCOT fireworks walked around for a while and watched the action on the Boardwalk, and then went back to OKW. When we got to our room about 10:30 - 10:45, there were someone elses bags in our room. They had been put there by "magical express". I called the desk to tell them, and they sent a bellman to get them. All I could think about was... Someone must have been looking for their bags for a while.

As part of my divorce settlement from my ex, he got to keep my wedding dress. Somehow he thought I would use it again if I ever got remarried. Like that would ever happen -- I mean wear it again.

That's bizarre. I did get to keep my old dress, and did donate it, hoping the poor bride that got to wear it had better luck than I did!

Docs--I can't wait!! But isn't the end of next week cutting it awfully close??

Here's a funny story. I mailed invitations for DDs bday on the 3rd. I mailed 16 invites, mostly to NYC and Ohio, but 6 went to friends in the area. Of those 6--2 were in my zip code. Like a couple of blocks away even. Every one got their invites except those 2 people. They just got there's yesterday!! It took over a week for them to get it!!

Of course, my hot Fed Ex guy will do a much better job getting me my docs on time!!

Don't scare me about Magical Express. I'm trusting the mouse with my luggage, he better get it to me or I'm sending my cat after him ....and he LOVES to kill mice!!

It's a good thing your an honest person and called the front desk. I imagine there are some who would not have.

We're not planning on Magical Express for this trip but for October we're going to give it a try. It's just Cameron & I going down so the idea of me driving around WDW is not appealing. Besides, Cameron could wear the same clothes for 5 days and have absolutely no problem doing so.

I made the arrangements through Member Services.

Cameron was SO excited about the idea of actually "hearing" Sam's voice. I asked him if he wanted to try to talk to him because I was going to call you with "good news" - I'm sure you know what that's all about if you want to try it.

Crazy day. Gary finally got in touch with a "real" person and solved the mystery. At least for the moment. Keep me posted on that.

I called Disney Cruise lines today and asked about the docs. I was told that they hope to have them all ready to mail out by the end of next week. I was told that they are going to mail them all at the same time because it is a members cruise, and there may be something special about the mailing. Thats all she would say.

Ooohhh, I'm getting more and more excited!!! I still can't believe that it's only 3 weeks away!!! In exactly 3 weeks, I will be frantically finishing up my packing. And, in the morning, we'd be leaving for BCV to spend the day at Stormalong.

SCRAPBOOK CLASS UPDATE! (as of 8/12/05)

THE OFFICIAL (OR NOT SO OFFICIAL) SCRAPBOOK CLASS ON THE WONDER TAUGHT BY SEAULATER....................

TIME: 12:30-1:30 pm

WHEN: Tuesday, September 6

WHERE: On the ship (location most likely will be the Promenade Lounge) – will update once on board

WHO: DISBOARD members and friends. Beginners welcome.

WHAT TO BRING: Your favorite scrapbook adhesive (i.e. tape runner, mounting squares, glue stick) whatever works for you. We will need some glue dots but I will bring those.

The 2 page scrapbook spread we will be doing is based around the DVC logo SS Member Cruise! It is going to be a blast. I will be bringing (or should I say shipping beforehand) to the ship the supplies needed to complete your two pages.

So.....you can complete your two pages during the class and you can add your pictures later once you get home. I will be adding our Welcome Aboard photo to our page to go with the theme and a couple of others but I don't know what they are yet!

Thanks to Amy (alikat99), Julie (chipscinderelly) and Georgie (Bonzie1) who have offered to assist during the class!

I will also be handing out a pre-class handout in the terminal before we board the ship (no homework required though before the class!). I did this on the PC cruise and it worked out well. If I don't find you in the terminal, don't worry, it will magically show up on your fish before sailaway!
