Speaking of the photo gallery, Lisa, why don't I see you and family there? :confused3 Trying to hide behind your computer? We will find you, you know that don't you? :rotfl:

:rotfl2: Well, it's because I'm a well-known superstar, and I was afraid that it would start a ruckus if everyone knew I was going on the cruise... :rotfl2:

No, it's a little more simple than that. The page isn't limited to those who are on this board, and I don't feel comfortable putting a picture of ds up on the internet... we all have our little hang-ups, and that's mine. :guilty:

I thought about digging up a picture and sending it to Mary last month, once I was past my "strangers on the internet thing", but I couldn't find a pic of the 3 of us that I liked... I do have a pic of all 4 of us, from BCV Grand Opening, but that could be confusing... hmmm... IF I get past my phobia, and IF I find a photo I actually like, maybe I'll bless you with a pic of us on Mary's page... :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1

Thanks, Mary. Dick's Sporting Goods is where the lady at Nordstroms told me to go to get them. Cameron's been pining to go over there. Maybe tonight. :teeth:

I think I am more of a neutral color wearer also. I can't picture myself in the bright colors.

That's my issue too... I'm defiinitely not really into the bright color shoe thing, since my feet are HUGE... no need to highlight them... :rotfl:

If I get a pair of blinking flip flops my DH will kill me! The girls and I have been in a flip flop craze this summer. Has anyone seen or made the "Fun Fur" flip flops? The are so cute and very girly. We have been making them all summer for ourselves and the neighborhood girls.

Also... Teva flip flops are the most comfortable! They are worth checking out.

Crocks... I saw these in Vegas. Now I wish I would have tried on a pair.

you know now, when we meet your we're going to be checking out your feet. :rotfl:

Diana's too as she has those SHREK size blinky-blinks. :rotfl:

I think the size of my feet to myself. :teeth:

And are you THINKING..."Gee, my feet are huge???" :rotfl2: :

Are you thinking..."Hmmm... I bet Minnie's shoes would be a bit tight???" :rotfl2:

Are you thinking "Hmmm... if Cinderella's slipper was a gel shoe, I might be able to get into it." :rotfl2:

Actually, one of the things I love about dh is he thinks I'm crazy when I say that I have big feet. Gotta love him! :lovestruc

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I have this vision of all of us staring at each others feet at the DIS meet.

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Good thing I've already scheduled my pedicure appointment for the week before. :teeth:

I have not made the fun fur flip flops, but I've seen them and I love them. My problem is that I don't crochet, so I can't make them. But, they are adorable, and look super comfy.

Amy,
I didn't know how to crochet either. Someone at work showed me how and it was so easy. You can make a pair in under an hour. It is very addicting! My girls have given them at b-day gifts to friends with other girly items. We even made matching pony tail holders!

Unfortunately, all people do not get along at all times. Life is not one big Disney moment. However for myself and my family, this cruise is meant to be a time of enjoyment away from the stress of the real world.

If someone has an issue with someone else on this board, I would like to respectfully request that they keep their discussions about the issue where they belong - off the board, and in PM land.

It's a big cruise ship, and there's really no need to hang out with someone you don't care for if you don't want to unless you're related (If you're reading this SIL, you know I love ya! :love2: ).

Please just post what you need to post/want to post, and try to keep the personal attacks to a minimum.

Thank you for listening to my comments. I now return you to your quest for fish extenders, blinkie blinks and konk koolers... :cool1:

Now those are the REALLY important things in life!!

Now as for my Shrek feet....yes, I wear a size 10!! I've learned to embrace my enormous cruise ship sized feet and bring focus to them. (I try to keep the focus away from the rest of my body!) I own both Sea Blue (should be called Electric Blue) and Lime Green Crocs and now my green blinkies. I'm proud. There I said it.

To the person who asked about feet sweating in crocs. There is an enormous thread over on the community board all about the pros/cons of crocs. Some people love them, some people hate them.....but most people find that their feet don't sweat in them! They are entirely of rubber. They kind of remind me of those pool noodles.....super light, flexible, they even float in water, so if you jump overboard trying to get away from Dee Vee Cee make sure you are wearing crocs, so you can float! :rotfl2:

Diana - I'm a 9W so not far behind you. In fact as far as the blinkies we have the exact same shoes - size and all!

Crocs to me don't feel like rubber. They are definately a synthetic. My feet don't seem to sweat in them, but again i have the Nile version which is more open than the other Crocs.

Maybe we should have had a separate part of the photo gallery just showing feet and you had to match up people to their feet. :teeth:

My feet stay warm in my Crocs, but they don't sweat. The great thing about them is that they are anti microbial, so your feet won't stink in them!

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: Great idea... but are you sure you have enough bandwidth to handle all of the huge feet pics you'll be getting???? :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Note to self: Need to get a pedicure, since people will now be staring at my feet... do they make lime green toenail polish???

Exactly what did you have for lunch that would make you come up with this idea?

If nothing else, we would definitely be the talk of the DIS board

Thanks MaryJ that's exactly what I wanted to know. I have a pair of the cutest slip on tennis shoes but they have to be washed after wearing them a couple of times - so I bought another pair to wear while the others were being washed.

Looks like I need to go check out the Crocs site.

Well Lisa did say to move on to more imporant things. :rotfl2:

Ok I'll admit it right here. I have ugly feet and I don't get pedicures. I should but they are usually hidden away so I don't.

Now I don't know of any lime green nail polish but here's something fun. There are two stores in the caribbean and I think they are both in Key West. One is Del Sol and one is Touched By The Sun. Both have color changing nail polish. It goes on one color but then changes color when in the sun. Brought it back for the girls on my team a couple of cruises ago and they loved it!

Now Diana, did you ever DOUBT that I had my priorities straight, and knew what was really important????

Why else would I be planning on getting up at 4:30 to put items on pool loungers to reserve them???

Note: Anyone who knows me can confirm that the only things that could get me up at 4:30 would be a good sale (we're talking Macy's, 99% off 1 Hour Only), a sick child (one that belonged to me and I felt obligated to take care of) or a frontal labotomy. Since I don't anticipate any of these things occuring on the cruise, the lounge chairs are safe from me!

Jenny - you mean he won't buy the "it was peer pressure from the ladies of the DIS" After all they are on sale and they come in kids sizes!
