I was gone all last night and you guys weren't too chatty because it didn't take too long for me to catch up!

DOCS!! I'm so excited!! I really can't wait!! And my ups guy doesn't come until like 4:30 - 5:00 and he is famous for leaving boxes at the wrong house. That makes me very very nervous.

Stacy--make sure you post when you get yours and I'll hunt the man down!!

A little disappointed that it's not Fed Ex. What can I order now that will come Fed Ex? :rotfl:

We're waiting for 2 things, the documents, and a pirate's costume for DH, me, I'm happy with an eye patch or something.

Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah Tip Of The Day

Ok I listed these before we did the tip of the day, but since documents are on their way I think they bear repeating.

a) There is a Bahama's imigration form in there. Yes you should fill it out since Castaway Cay is in the Bahama's.

b) Credit card form. Only one adult in the party needs to fill this out. You just list who all can charge against that card.

c) Luggage tags. Put these on your luggage before heading to the ship. Unless you are flying down Sunday and going direct to the ship DO NOT put them on your luggage before you fly down.

d) Be sure before you leave home that you have taken your documents and your passports or birth certificates and picture ID.

I am so glad to hear that the docs are out for delivery.

I really could use some good news. I was in an traffic accident yesterday. I am fine, but my Saturn Vue looks pretty bad. The cop wrote it up as a no fault due to rain and malfunctioning traffic light. I felt so sorry for the 16 year old in the other car. He just knew his dad was going to kill him.

Good thing we decided to fly now. I am not sure if my car will be back before we leave.

Good Morning all.

We're off to the zoo again today so I won't see the UPS truck as it comes down the street. Problem with that is, our UPS guy likes to find little spots tucked away to leave our packages. I've found them all around the front and back of the house. So, when we get home, I'll be like a mad woman rushing all around looking to see if it's hiding someplace.

With any luck, I'll find it! :cheer2:

Happy Waiting, everyone!

Glad to hear your okay. Cars can be replaced (as much of a pain that is) people can't. :goodvibes

Ooohhh, the zoo again, huh?? Which one do you go to? Brookfield? That's my favorite!!

Here's to hoping that everyone's docs make it today!!!

Brookfield is our favorite too. In fact we are members there and I think Cindy said they are too! We just went a couple of weeks ago and even got free tickets for the dolphin show. Hadn't seen that in years! My favorites are the bears and the penquins. We adopted one of the polar bears.

I think that you're right, I think that Cindy did mention that she was a member at Brookfield. Our zoo here in Tampa is pretty small compared to Brookfield, but it's still pretty nice. They were actually voted the #1 family zoo by some children's magazine. But, hopefully next time that we come up to Chicago to visit family, when the weather is nice, we'll take the girls to Brookfield. I think that they would really like it.

Gosh, it's so nice to be popular

All cleaned up!

Today's fluffy question of the day.......

Do you have a fluff question for today? If not how about this one?

While we are on the subject of documents...who in your household will be responsible for them? Is each person responsible for their own or does one person take care of the entire family?

I'll be taking care of our documents for our family. But if I'm honest, I'll probably misplace them and Gary will hunt them down. :confused3 So, in reality, it will be a team effort. :goodvibes

Thanks, Mary, for the question of the day. If anyone has any for the rest of our prep time, my box is cleaned out if anyone wants to PM them to me. :rotfl:

Amy, when are you coming up this way again? I have extra free tickets for the zoo if you're interested. I'll tuck them in my luggage. They are good until 9/30/2006. Let me know.

The zoo is a hard one for me to take the kids too. With 8 kids, they don't move very fast. They  the Hamill Family Play Zoo and it seems like we never get out of there and move onto something else. That's what happened yesterday. So, today we'll go back and see the other parts of the zoo we didn't have a chance to do yesterday. Cameron is now getting to the age where he can't/doesn't want to spend all morning at Hamill but the others just love it.

Hey Guys,
I've been up to date but haven't had a chance to post since I think last Thursday when I was headed to Beaches and Cream. Friday I went to Mall at Millenia (very fancy, but nice to see) right by Universal Studios. Saturday we went to Belz, which is now Prime 1 Outlets which may things confusing since the website is still Belz, but the outlets have all new signs. Anyway when I saw Character Warehouse I knew I was in the right place : ) I cleaned them out!!!! We also went back to LBV factory outlets. All recommeded if you have the time on your next trip to central FL. Sunday we did Typhoon Lagoon. Thumbs up to Crush n' Gusher!!!! It was a much shorter ride than I was expecting, but worth it. We got there at 8:45AM, camped out by guest services and at 9:30AM claimed our chairs and headed right for C n' G. We did a couple other rides, lounged, had lunch and left by 2:30PM. It was nice that we saved closed to $15 on admission (total for the 3 of us) w/ the DVC card. Toooooooo hot to stay all day though. Yesterday we did EPCOT - LOOOOOOOOVVVVVVEEEEEDDDDD Soarin! I can't wait to see it in Disneyland (planning a Jan '06 trip). We did the park from 9 - 3 then came back to relax and shower and went back in around 6:45PM for dinner at France (which was superb!) and then watched Illuminations - always terrific! Today we'll be just hanging out and then we'll do the DVC PI event tonight. I think some of you did this already? I'll post comments anyway.
Oh, Mark I think the docs are coming from 210 Celebration Place. I called last week worried about not being home to get the docs and I said can I just come to the office to get 'em (literally our condo here in Celebration is walking distance from the building). The DCL CM told me that they do get shipped from here but they don't normally allow people to come in and pick 'em up : ( I'll just hope for the best that the friend that's house sitting will get the delivery. Okay sorry for the length once again...but thanks for listening.

Travel documents are my responsibility. When we get them we will look them over together and fill them out but then it is my job to organize them and take care of them. I have a very nice document holder that holds our passports, cards, documents, and anything else we may need. I keep that in my purse.

For road trips (which this is for us) Mark's responsible for the car. He's already changed the oil, rotated the tires, changed the breaks, and given the car a nice heavy wax job. I think since he's done all of that the least I can do is carry the documents :)

Robin, As somone else said, you can replace a car. Glad you're all ok.

Amy, my brother is a nature fan and really gets into the Zoos, one that he said is small but very good down your way is Brevard zoo. Don't think he's ever been to Tampa, so I don't know where they fit into the scheme of things.

Steff - sounds like you guys are having a great time!

Cindy - I think we need more twilight music again. I was going to offer our extra free tickets to the zoo. Our expire sooner - June I think. So if someone is headed up to Chicago let us know!
