Well, I'm back. I did it. I found formal clothes for the kids. I am ashamed to say that a one hour trip to the mall (Nordstoms-I don't know what I was thinking) cost almost $1000.00! What can I say? Desperate times call for desperate measures. Or, maybe I'm just insane? I rationalize it this way:
DS-1 suit (its about time he had one, he is 9), 2 dress shirts, 2 ties, 1 pair of shoes, 1 belt
DD-1 formal dress (got it a little big so can be worn for xmas, and perhaps next cruise) 1 pair of shoes, 1 hair bow
Me-3 pairs of shoes (DH is making me take one back) and a wrap for my dresses
DH-got measured for his tux.
Peace of mind-PRICELESS! and all in less than an hour!

less than one hour, you rock girl!!!

Cruise, memories....cost of it all
My day is jammed packed with things to do for this cruise:
1. TAKE OUT THE SUITCASES AND HOPE THAT MY MAINECOON CAT DOES NOT EAT US PRIOR TO LEAVING!!!
2. Menfolk get haircuts
3. WORKOUT FOR ME
4. PACK
5. LAUNDRY
6. PACK
7. LAUNDRY
8. PACK
9. SHOP FOR LAST MIN. STUFF
10. PACK (which I will be doing up to the minute we leave)
Try to clean my house prior to leaving!!!
Well, Patrick is watching cartoons

and says hi.

He can't wait to start packing.

The usual, his favorite blanket, stuff animals, legos, etc. Opps

, the favorite blanket does not get packed until the day we leave. Now if only I can sneak it away to get the blanket washed and hope it doesn't fall apart, I'll be happy!!!
Talk to you all later, time for coffee.

and a quick game of backgammon.
