Hi all new people!!

Your gonna have a great time getting to know everyone over the next 60 days.

NeedingVacation: If this is your 1st Disney Cruise I would highly recomend the Passporter. I would think just the book would work unless you want to splurge on the Deluxe version. The pockets in the deluxe version are great for organizing receipts and jotting down memorable events during the vacation.

Night all,

David

NeedingVacation: Yup, just got my deluxe version of the Passporter. All I can say is awesome.... :lovestruc So many pockets, so little time... heheh...

Hi All,

Just a quick 'Hello'

59 days & we'll be at Ron Jon's!! :cheer2:

I know it's getting close but it still seems like forever.

Has anybody given any thought to that BOB thing in St. Thomas? They don't seem that quick answering e-mails. I guess they only get back to you when there are few ships in port. ;)

The family still can't decide on a t-shirt design. We are thinking of a different tropical color instead of DIS green. A different color shirt of course means a different color of text. Well, at least the design if firm now. :artist:

Gotta go shop for a filing cabinet. The kids were goofing around and bent this silly cheap Staples cabinet. I wonder if I can find one of those old tank like cabinets used somewhere? Hmm... That would certainly be better than another $130+ right now at Staples. Do you know how many games of Bingo that is? :furious: :rotfl2: :lmao:

Does anybody know if there are good cigar shops in St. Martin/St. Thomas. I know there must be a bunch but I want to find a good one. :smokin: Just finished of the last couple that I got at Key West. I think I had 3 in about 9 months, how terrible am I? :confused3

Gotta run.

David

HEY EVERYONE!!!

NEXT MONTH, WE WILL BE CRUISING!!!!

Come on countdown timer!!

I'm not a huge fan of having everything scheduled to the hilt, so I'm tempted to try some things on our own...but does anyone have any recommendations for "must do" excursions? It's just the DBF and I, so we don't have to worry about keeping kids entertained.

I'm really getting excited now...not that I wasn't already! I'm looking forward to some alone time with the DBF.

We leave the house in 59 days. Should be leaving about this time in 59 days. We will drive the 13 hours thru the night to get there. Counting the days and time. Have a geat night
Kim

Ok, figured i would get in on the posting since the DGF is also on (mommaraven). I think she is excited. This is my second cruise, the last one was the oct. 31 cruise back in 05, dsnydmbnut screen name looks familiar, were you on that cruise also?? The first cruise i was single and totally different this time around. I did more of the partying then, the rock n bar D for the entertainment which was always a blast, diversions on the last night for the going away party, wondering the ship at the wee hours of the morning. The previous group wasn't big on excursions but i still had lots of fun and can only hope to make it as memorable for the GF. Can't wait to see everyone at all the sail away parties and save some of those sail away drinks for me.

:smooth:

Pat! You were suppose to be on the Halloween cruise last year with Beano and friends! ( I am Fran and Dave's sister from the 04 cruise)
Just got back from a Disney trip with Beano, Ronnie Jo, Tim, Chris and Cheri!

Welcome!!

Been very quiet for a couple of months. Tore my miniscus in my left knee 10 days before our Alaska cruise, I did okay but had to bring me home in a wheel chair. Got operated on last Tuesday and I'm progressing well. My DW's sister and DH are going thru wedding plans for thier DD and are stressed. They decided to go on vacation to Williamsburg and wanted us to go. I don't like the area so we convinced them to go to WDW. Aug 21st-28th, we managed to get a 2BR at Saratoga Springs on short notice, I was impressed. That will help get us thru the long wait for our cruise. DW is still a little nervous about a B2B but we are now seriously on a lose a few lbs before the cruise crusade. I lost 1 lb on the Alaska cruise and 11 lbs since. I did get down to 175 for my DD wedding in 2004, they got my wedding pants and they didn't fit so I had to really work on losing and I can't do any walking or exercising because of a car accident. Down to 184 now, 5 more lbs before we leave.

I haven't seen the count change on the wrist bracelets. They need to be ordered by Sept 1st and will be about $2.00 Adult & child sizes. Please update if you would like them. :grouphug: :wave2: :dance3:

Hello fellow cruisers!! :wave2:

So, is everyone ready to cruise NEXT MONTH??? Yes! :dance3: I know I am... :woohoo:

Welcome Pat (DBF of mommaraven) :welcome: Sounds like you are also a DIS/DCL veteran. I'm a newbie - first DCL, first family cruise. I went on an Italian cruise back when I was in a study group in Europe for high school, but geez, that was over ** years ago. :rotfl: (yes, I left that out on purpose!) :p Needless to say, not a whole lot of studying was going on... :rotfl2:

So, readytocruise, you want to know if the Passporter is worth it? Well, it has A TON of information in it, and as I read through it, I find that most of the stuff I already know here from the DIS boards. But, since I won't be online during the cruise, it will be nice to have it to flip thru while we are sailing (and on the airplane, just something to get me thru the flight :thumbsup2 ). So yeah, I'm glad I got it, even though most of us already know everything there is to know about DCL.

Welcome back Jack. Sounds like your surgery hasn't slowed you down a bit. Nice job in changing the family's mind into going to WDW. I'm impressed! I may need your help in convincing DH for our next vacation because I don't think it will be Disney related. :sad2: By the way, it's hard to believe that your DW is worried to go on B2B cruises. We should all be so worried!!!! :lmao: We are still on for the bracelets -- how do you want us to pay for them? Just let me know. Here's hoping a speedy recovery! :upsidedow

Well, gotta get back to work, have a great day everyone!
Angela :teeth:

Hello to fellow cruisers. Last minute decision to book me, my wife and two kids (6 & 4). Kids our out of school (we go year round here with three week cycle breaks). Went last year on a four day cruise and excited about going 7 days this time. I understand there are some differences other than ports of call.

Ok yeah, sorry i didn't go on the 2005 cruise, it was the 2004 one. Time just seems to run together. I would say that going on a disney cruise as my first cruise i was spoiled, they definitely do it right. Pretty much now if i backed out the DGF would rip me a new one, so yeah.... So i must break her in right also. I am what might be known as a bit of a flirt and a partier...although, definitely less partying this time, last time i got sick. No 8 shots of tequila at key west...haha. I do vaguely remember you....although after seeing all those bright green shirts i am suprised anyone could see. Can't wait to party it up with the mouse again.

:smooth:

Hi to all the newbies and everyone out there!!! :wave2:

I've been so busy, that I haven't been on the board for weeks. Well I just scared myself :scared1: :scared: ......next month is the cruise. I have so much to do.....like enjoy the count down!!! :woohoo:

I best catch up on the reading and get back to everyone later.

This blasted heat wave is scary, yesterday it reached 105 in Boston and felt like 110 degrees. :scared:  This week has been a beast, and today is not much better :rolleyes2 . The commuter trains have been horrible...try taking an hour ride in a train with no heat or air. :furious: Compound it with hot flashes and watch DIDI melt away the pounds. ;) If only I could melt away those pounds..... :rotfl2:

Best get back to work.... :wave2:

ok folks...

I talked to my t-shirt girl..she said the shirts would be less than $10 each..they are screened and unlike the laser shirts on the internet..would hold up well to washing. She prints all my t's for my company, so she is giving me a really low price..I need to know who wants them. You could pay me via credit card (paypal) or check..but I need to know pretty soon. I need at least 24 for an order. I am getting a tank top, but you can also get a t-shirt. They are cotton and the design looks like:

It will say 2006 and our cruise dates!

I'll take two large t-shirts please, I can write you a check, if you want to PM me with your address i can send it to you. Or you can email me at pmcougarman@aol.com. Yeah the heat has been a bit of a pain down here also in VA. And this dumb guy has been out playing softball in it, one of these days i will learn. I am sure if anyone has 2nd dinner with us the DGF would like to sit with at least someone we somewhat know. Don't know our rotation yet as we haven't gotten our papers. Has anyone else gotten theirs??

:drinking1 :drinking1

Hi all,
Haven't checked the web site in a few weeks. I have been busy, as I started back to work on the 24th. I work at the local school district (same school district as LENZS4) and recess duty has been ghastly the last week and a half, we had a few days that were over 115 yuck, yuck, yuck! Today was better though...maybe 105. I'll sure be glad when the weather breaks around October for us. Didi - you poor thing...I can't imagine being stuck on a train for an hour in that heat/humidity with no AC - kind of like a coffin.

Looking forward to vacation...still haven't planned any excursions but do have my Palo reservations all taken care of. Also need to get rental car and still haven't bought my insurance (things to do this weekend!) :guilty:

Well I must go...kids need help with their homework! :confused3

Eeek! We're getting closer! I'm glad the DBF (pmcougar05) finally decided to get with the program and get back on the boards. He's been taking care of me and the DS4 this week while I've been sick and I must admit he's pretty darn awesome at it. I am in serious need of this vacation! I can't wait to get some of the Caribbean sun. :yay:

Hi All!

We're getting closer!!!

Jack: I think you have my group included in DiDi's group. I believe she only wants 2A & 1C. We (David & Kathy) want 3A & 1C. Would you like some money before the cruise? How about I order you a T-Shirt?

Betsy: I'll take 3 shirts (1-XXL, 1-XL & 1-S). I'll PM you my e-mail address and we can arrange PayPal.

Patrick: We've requested the Early/PLA dinner rotation. I hope we get it.

Stretch: Welcome!!! :welcome:

Gotta run...

David

We love the shirts. Can you please order 2 adult larges and 2 kid larges. You can email us at bohuslov@hotmail.com and I'll send you a check. Thanks a bunch! :cool1:
