Been a long time since last post. Had an MRI of the left knee and do have a torn Miniscus (spelling) Too close to Alaska to chance an operation, because I'm walking funny I pulled a muscle in the back. But I've been in a whirl pool plus heating pad for a week and it's improving. Don't really expect to do more than sit on the verandah and look at the scenery. Thursday is the DW's last day of school. So officially one month more of wore before retirement city. Can't believe it's finally here, where have all the years(flowers) gone? Looking back makes you realize how bogus everything is except family. The time and the memories shared, that's what is important to leave behind. Almost the two digit dance. :banana: :Pinkbounc
 
We have a steel front door. So everytime we get mail or the paper in the morning we get to bring the memories back.

I had a torn Miniscus when I was in high school in BOTH knees...good luck! I don't think I would risk the surgery now, but it is better than the pain from the tear!
 

I made the final payment to the TA last week, and I pulled up our reservation on Disney today and it has the status of "Booked". Does this mean that they have, in fact, received our final payment from the TA? I never really paid attention to the status before I made the final payment last week.
Does anyone know?
 
No..mine said "booked" when I made the reservation and paid my deposit

DUs site says "Paid in full" for me
 
Mine has said "booked" since I made the reservation as well. I wen't through sams club and haven't made my final payment yet but it still says booked. I used my credit card for my last pament. It originally showed sams club as the person charging me but then said Disney a few days later when the charge posted to my account. I wouldn't worry.

Hey, Everybody!! Lets get all of the Roll Call information updated. I'll pull all this data into a spreadsheet and post a link in my signature if this would be easier for people. I could even password protect it for our security.

Also, Should we add dinning times & rotations to the list as well?

Did anybody want to link dining reservations?

Hey David, that is a GREAT spreadsheet! That is way more easier to update than the original post. Loads of thanks and appreciation!! :teeth: I think we are going to change to late dining - with the time change from the West Coast and DS staying up later these days it will give us more time during our day - at least we think! :confused3 But, I'm still going to request PLA.

CNB1124 - my reservation is paid in full and I booked thru Costco and it still stays "booked." But I remember reading here on the boards that it will not always change, so I wouldn't worry about it either. You should be good to go! :thumbsup2

By the way, I got the Waikiki camp shirt for DS and it is perfect. Better yet, he even likes it! :faint: He's a picky dresser (although you couldn't tell by what he wears!) :sad2:

Didn't get around to making the tie-dyed shirts last weekend. We ended up going camping for Father's Day. When was the last time you had hot dogs and a Cup of Noodle for a Father's Day dinner???? Yuk! :crazy2:
 
Who do we pm with our information? We are in cabin 7500, and that dining rotation sounds really good. I never really had a preference before on my other cruises, and we did end up in parrot cay on our formal night. We do like late seating because for us it's less hassle making it back to the ship and such. I just need to know the the coordinator of our group is? Thank you so much for handling all the details. it would be nice to be familiar with some folks on board this time. My four year old son would like that too!!

We are now a little more settled in our new home in NC and the computer is up and running....and the best part is now I have DSL! LOL! :thumbsup2

I haven't had a chance to read up on everything that has happened, but I will do so! Things here are crazy and we are still trying to get unpacked and settled after almost three weeks.....well, all good things take time :hourglass

We are so ready to cruise! We will need the R & R after this move ::yes::

What dining rotation is it that will put us at the character breakfast Monday a.m. (DD's birthday). That would be awesome! Also, how do I request that information? Do I wait til we're there and then ask at guest services, or................?

We added my parents today! I had to put them on 6 to get them a mid-ship room. This will be their first ever cruise! We are excited!

I will PM our room numbers to get added to the chart!

Now waiting to make my Palo ressies....
