We've been getting the light green has the ship on it with DCL & the date, neat :cool1:

Hi everyone, :wave2:

I've been a slacker lately, I haven't kept up on the thread. Betsy, like you I have been swamped at work and really busy at night trying to get my house ready for the market.

John, I hear you about the cost of new houses.... my word!!! It's unreal of what the cost is for a house!!!! For as low as $350,000 you can have a real fixer upper!!! It's wonderful living in MA... Congrats, on your DD's giving you a new addition to the family!!! She will be lucky to have free babysistting!!! It's more expensive to pay a babysitter theses days then go out to a resturant. I quess I'm real old, by I was lucky to make .75 an hour when I baby sat!!! Now it's over $10 an hour and that's for during the week not the weekend costs.

Besty, I want the Palo tee time too. We need a tally of who wants to go and then book it asap.

I also want three braclets. I'm not picky about the color!!!

I promise to pick up the slack on the thread!!!!

Kamy, how was your trip?

Time to clean out the basement with the hubby and do some laundry!!! WAIT A SECOND... IT'S MOTHER'S DAY....SCRAP THAT IDEA.....I'M PUTTING MY FEET UP AND RESTING TODAY!!!!!

Talk to you all soon. :grouphug:

Hey everyone! We are back from a wonderful WDW vacation and ready to get packing to move! :thumbsup2
I went through and read the thread of what I missed...lots going on!
We are in for the reminder bands....let me know what we need to do! ;)
joksten- my parents live in a modular home and love it....it was a great thing for them...got much more house for the money.
Whew!!! houses up in the east are expensive, huh??? :sad2: We scored nicely in North Carolina and go to closing this Tuesday, so everyone cross your fingers things go smoothly! :woohoo:

We are hoping for PLA and put in a request for it. It is the best rotation...at least I think so ;)

High Tea- I love tea time...is this a group idea, ladies??? :goodvibes

For those of you who asked, WDW was awesome. We got in late on Friday and checked in at SSR. Saturday we went to the Minnie Marathon expo and then hit the pool! Ryan, who is a little over 8mths old, loves the pools!! :p
After that, we hit Earl of Sandwich to meet up with some DIS folks! On Sunday I did the 15k run and finished in time to get my medal! So glad I made it in under the time requirement! I was worn out!!!! :bitelip:
We checked in at BWV on Sunday afternoon and then rested up for the night....We hit all 4 parks during our stay....and Ryan rode all the rides in Fantasyland, Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin, and met tons of characters at MK. At AK, he rode the safari and we went to Rafiki's Planet Watch too. At MGM, he met lots of characters and saw the Little Mermaid, Playhouse, and rode Great Movie Ride. At EPCOT, we toured the countries (he made a new girlfriend in UK  ) and he fell in love with the Living Seas! :thumbsup2
We spent time in the pool and really relaxed a lot in the afternoons and evenings. It was all in all a wonderful trip! We even got the photopass CD, so I will get some pics online as soon as I can! Things are just so hectic with packing up! I think I am going to go crazy by month end

I hope all of you are doing well and we cannot wait to meet you all in person!!! and Happy Mothers Day to all you mom's out there :sunny:

Hope all of you have had a great mothers day.

We are all up for the reminder bands also. There will be 6 of us. Tea sounds great also. Only 2 women in our group.

Got a new puppy, have to run to take care of her. Talk to you all soon
Kim

Good morning!! Checking up on how everyone spent their Mother's Day. :surfweb: I spent it by staying away from the computer! :teeth: For dinner DH slowly BBQ'd pork ribs (for like 6 hours - yum!) and my Mom came over and hung out and we did some scrapbooking and listened to some music. Nice and relaxing... :thumbsup2 DS pulled weeds in the flower garden - for about 5 minutes! :lmao: and then proceeded to bother me for the rest of the day. Now, that's a perfect Mother's Day. It's great being a Mom! :rolleyes2

We are having a heat wave and it's supposed to be in the upper 80's today - we'll probably beat our record because this is so not like Seattle weather. I know I'm gonna get a phone call today from DH saying it's perfect boat weather and he's skipping out on work to go boating - it's only the beginning. I get these phone calls throughout the summer. :sad2: :lmao:

Kamy and Didi - I'm SO glad I'm not moving like you guys, what a pain in the hiney!! :p I feel for you. Good luck on the house hunting and packing! And Kamy, I'll keep my fingers crossed about your closing.

Well, gotta go get ready for work. I hope everyone has a great week and I'll check back in later.

Angela

Don't mind getting the bands, I just got my Band for 10/07 from BIGRED1. I will need to know how many adult bands and how many child bands you'll each need.

Glad you had a great trip Kamy, your spoiling my plans by moving to NC.

Shiela do you have the Phone # for DCL direct? If not 800-951-3532

Been very rainy up here the last two days and is supposed to hang around for a while, we can sure use it. Your right the housing is very high, but not as bad as north Jersey. A modest house is 350K about 550 up North. So a modular home seems like a great buy. Did I tell your my neighbor had one put in over the summer, we got to see the whole operation. His Father kind of built the house over 60 years ago and was more under ground the above, we use to think they were living under our yard. It was literly falling apart.

 :cheer2: :cloud9: 136 Not bad, tried to talk the DW into another cruise the end of August :stir: , but she didn't want to hear it :listen: , oh well, I guess I'll survive

Ugh!

We are having a heat wave!! ANDDDDDD our AC in the office died this morning!!!

UGH!

Put me down for 2 adults and 1 child on the bands...Are you getting the "DIS" lime green??

Hi All,

I haven't spoken to DiDi but I'll order hers too. I need a total of 7 (5 adults & 2 kids).

THanks & Good night!

David

Please include my DW (Mary) in the tea, It'll be a great chance to meet and greet, everyone knows everything revolves around the girls, especially on this cruise. :cool1:

DAVID - How are you faring with all the rain, hope your on high ground

ANGELA - Could you keep me abreast of the weather conditions out your way. We leave for our Alaska cruise 7/01 and have no idea what kind of clothes to pack.

Maybe DisneyMom&Fan could edit her first post with information for us...we did that on our Oct thread and it was nice to have one place to look up all the info...right on the first page.

Hi everyone!

Just wanted to hop on here and say "hello". I am happy I found this board, but can see that I have a lot of reading to do!

This will be our 2nd cruise. We are out here in California and went on the West Coast cruise last summer. That was it...my kids haven't stopped talking about it. We told them we we go again in couple of years, so my wonderful 5 y.o. ds has figured out that if he tells everyone that he is 7 years old, then it is time for us to go back on "the Mickey Ship".

Anyway...I look forward to reading all these posts, and meeting you all soon. This trip will be myself, DH, and our 2 kids...6 y.o. ds and 9 y.o. dd.

Looking forward to meeting you!

Hi SG..I have a DD who will be 9.5 on the cruise!
I am Betsy and will be traveling with my mom (Anne) and DD (Kate)

Great idea Betsy!! I took a crack at adding a roll call to the first message - I pretty much just copied and pasted the info. I haven't had a chance to go back through the thread and put everyone on it yet, but will do so within the next couple of days. If you want to PM me with info, that would be fine too. I'm not sure how this works - am I the only one who can edit the message? Or, can I "grant" access to it so you all can edit as well? :confused3

OK, gotta get back to the real work that pays for the cruise! :teeth:

Good Morning all. :sunny:

I think that we might see the sun today, yeah, the sun is a good thing. :cool1: We've had so much rain I was afraid we would float away. A couple of my co-workers had as much as 3.5 feet of water in their basements. Thank goodness, mine was dry.

I just got my travel kit filled with the all kinds scoop about excursions and such. :cheer2: I wish I was on the cruise right now!!! I've got the airplane tickets, the insurance and in a couple of weeks will have paid off the whole cruise. :cheer2: :teeth: Life is gooooood!!!!

Anyways, the coffee is waiting for me :cloud9: and I must savour the first sip.

Gotta go and enjoy some peace and quiet while it lasts. :cloud9:
