Hello Everyone! I am new to this board, and wanted to say hello! Our family just booked this cruise last week. We are Clint, Codi, Amalie (12), Analiese (10) and Johnny (7). It looks like we are going to sail with a great group!

Regarding any of those frozen drinks...anyone ever heard of a "Whopper Topper?" The drink order goes something like this..."l'd like a Pina Colada with a whopper topper. The bar dumps a huge extra shot of rum on the top of the drink. I may be behind the times since I just learned this in January on my last cruise, but I loved it and whopper topped everything on that trip.

Back to drinking strawberry margaritas. DH and I are sitting on the couch right next to each other enjoying a beverage and surfing the web. Thank goodness for two laptops. I guess the good news is we aren't instant messaging each other. That would be sad. And Juli, we started watching Man v Food like 3 minutes ago just after I read your post. I've never seen it. No fair...getting paid to eat.

I just read that the season premiere of Desperate Housewives will be on 9/27/09. I can't remember from my last cruise, but does anyone know if we get ABC on the ship TV? Not that I'd want to stop the cruise festivities, but I hate the thought of missing the premiere. I'll still TiVo it, but that's not the same.

Duh to me. Got it. Hard to read sarcasm sometimes. And other times I'm just dense.

I have a friend and her two kids visiting from Michigan today and for the next 5 days. I have a feeling I'm going to need a spectrum turbo update on Tuesday because I'm not going to be able to check in frequently. Will miss everyone.

It is a little glommy here in Ohio.

Last night I was trying on all my cruise outfits and I am NOT going to fit it all in only 1 suitcase. Impossible. I am a type of person that has to match and change frequently. So Far I have selected:

Formal Dress
Semi Formal Dress
4 Dinner Outfits
1 Pirate Outfit, still not sure if fully dressing up in a theme
4 Swim suit cover ups
5-6 bathing suits
7 tops and 7 bottoms/skorts during day
Special PJ's for breakfast
PJ's
Undergarments
Did not think of shoes yet, few possibilities
Toiletries

Continental is going to Love Me in those extra bag surcharges. Anyone else has this problem? I am really trying but cannot see myself wearing the same thing? Never in my life...

A suggestion I once read and then actually used was to bring a pair of black dress pants and two different blouses/tops to wear. You only wear it for a few hours, and others will be none the wiser. Pretty clever, I thought, if any of your outfits are just a plain pant.
