Sept. 26, 2009 Magic

I did my homework and here are the two best choices that I came up with:

Plain bands are $1.75 each for adults and $2.25 for kids. They have both Disboard Green or a Mickey Red available. Or we could pick another color

or

For $2.50 for adults and $3.25 for kids we can get swirled bands. The color choices include green/white or red/white or red/black.

Sorry about the kids prices, we only have orders for 11 kids size and the low quantity really hurts.

The other thing we need to decide is is the wording. I will definitely put "Picaroon Pirates' on and then there will be room for either 'Sept 25-Oct 3rd 2009' or 'Disney Magic'.

I need opinions, please chime in.

Also, it's not too late to get in on the wristbands, I am planning on ordering them the first week of August. In fact the more orders we get the lower the price.

I'm for the swirled bands in black & red (Mickey & Disney Magic Colors) with the dates on it Sept. 26th (not the 25th) - Oct. 3rd.:cool1::yay:

I'm happy either way but the red/black would match my outfits better.

I like the dates better myself.

Okay, okay I'll put the right dates. ;) Man you guys are picky!!:lmao:

So it would read: Picaroon Pirates and Sept 26th -Oct 3rd 2009

I personally like the red/black swirl as well.

Sftnslky, lexiconjoe and maggie62677 were in charge of the lanyards. I believe we were still looking at ordering these...someone tell me if that is not correct.....

Repeat cruisers will receive a lanyard from DCL but we were going to get one specially made for our group. I use mine to hold my room key and photo ID when I leave the ship. Makes it much easier when it is in one easy to get to spot instead of fumbling thru bags to find it.

All, I did mention months ago if we wanted to do the lanyards, I would help with that but I am sorry to say that I have not spend the time on this board like I should have. I am still willing to help with this if we would like to have them. I just need to know who would like them, and has sftnslky or maggie61677 started working on them yet? I even missed the fish extender sign up, so you know that I have not been to up to date. I promise to do better if we need me too.

I like the red/black with the dates on it.. Sept 26th - Oct 3rd. You do have me down for 4 right?

If we do lanyard's I would be interested but would prefer the wide width ones ( ie the disney size)

WE are game either way and let me know where and when we will meet for drop off payment and p/u. of said wristbands.
We will not be on facebook as I don't know what to do! I'm lucky I'm here.

HI, everyone... WHEW I had 7 pages to catch up on. This past week has been really frustrating...we had a "not nice" family situation come up that had to be delt with. And it was also Jennahs 13th brithday. I took her, Macy and two of Jennahs friends to San Jose on Friday night..went to the Embassy suites..swam and went to dinner at Chilis. Saturday morning woke up had breakfast and took all the kids to Paramounts Great America with Boomarang Bay Waterpark. Went back to the hotel, swam ordered room service and passed out. Woke up on Sunday..had a late breakfast and drove the 1 1/2 home. They all had a good time. I on the other hand need 2 days of sleep to catch up on :rotfl:

Yes, actually I posted about a month ago asking everyone if they still wanted them and if they did were they willing to pay the price. We need a minimum of 100 orders, and they are anywhere between $2.95-$5.15

Boy your not kidding, here it is the middle of July and I needed a jacket this morning.

Ugggggg we are in our 9th straight day of over 100 degree temps with 5 straight of them over 105...with the hotest day being 109...uuugggg

Another vote for the swirled ones..with the date :thumbsup2

They do sell them, but they are very expensive. Well, not like huge expensive but at approx $4.50 apiece and with 7 of us..we are talking over $30 for something that we will get for free anyway.. soooo I could just order them for all of you and skip the ones for us. :thumbsup2 Its cool either way. :flower3:

I'd be interested in getting them for our group. We'd need 6 adults and 3 kids. I say Picaroon Pirates and the date. Any of the colors are good.

Which ADR's weren't you able to get? No problems what so ever for us, but then again I don't know how much trouble IPO had to go through to get us ours.

Couldn't get Tutto Italia on Wednesday night or Cape May for breakfast on the 26th. We're staying at Beach Club Villas so we thought Cape May would be good but so far I can't get in there that morning.

Not about WDW, but we couldn't get Palo brunch or tea on the cruise. We got our first choice for dinner but even getting on 90 days out we didn't get brunch or tea. I guess we'll be going straight to Rockin Bar D to hopefully get at least brunch.

R we going to have a certain way to identify ourselves when we first get on the ship.

FatCat will be wearing is pre-cruise outfit as always!!!

OK. FATCAT's one idea of the year.

All of us Castaway Cay members are getting free landyards.

And us non CC members most likely will be buying landyards of some type.

Can one of the photoshop people make a graphic and post a link whereas we can all print out the Graphic and place it in our Free or Purchased lanyards.

I suggest the Graphic have some blank white space to enter our names
"FATCAT" and real name "Christopher the GREAT"

on them.

Our last cruise we had them done this way so with our Real Names being bigger.
Also our DISNAME was on all members of the party.

If we had a graphic posted by a link us users can either photoshop ourselves our names in or just write them with Sharpies.

FatCat's Maxim picture will give an idea of how big the graphic should be. I am wearing the standard CC landyard gift.

This way in port we can start identifying ourselves early

Bracelets can be an added addition.

I am planning on getting to the port first thing. Hopefully my favorite couches at the far end of the terminal (close to the gangway) are still there and I can set up shop with the wristbands.

I was on Vistaprint.com today and toyed with the idea of getting a small Picaroon Pirates banner, but I am pretty sure that my traveling companions would threaten to throw me overboard as soon as I pulled it out. :confused3 Although, it does sound like I would be in good company. :rotfl:

Great idea!!

I bet if we ask on the main cruise board, someone can tell us the exact dimensions to make the namecards.

We'd like to be added to the wristband count. Not picky at all about color/design!:thumbsup2

3 adults
4 children

Thanks!!!!
