OK. FATCAT's one idea of the year.

All of us Castaway Cay members are getting free landyards.

And us non CC members most likely will be buying landyards of some type.

Can one of the photoshop people make a graphic and post a link whereas we can all print out the Graphic and place it in our Free or Purchased lanyards.

I suggest the Graphic have some blank white space to enter our names
"FATCAT" and real name "Christopher the GREAT"

on them.

Our last cruise we had them done this way so with our Real Names being bigger.
Also our DISNAME was on all members of the party.

If we had a graphic posted by a link us users can either photoshop ourselves our names in or just write them with Sharpies.

FatCat's Maxim picture will give an idea of how big the graphic should be. I am wearing the standard CC landyard gift.

This way in port we can start identifying ourselves early

Bracelets can be an added addition.

FatCat - Brilliant idea!!! The cards that would fit are business card size. We had lanyards made in a previous cruise and it listed our name/dis name and that was the perfect way to spot other disers on the cruise. Also, for someone who has a HORRIBLE time remembering names, it helped me to learn the names better without looking like an idiot!!!

Hey everyone!!! I can finally start planning on wdw and cruise trip since I had our baby boy. He came on June 14th at 1108pm by c-section because he was 9lb 12oz (he's now 13lb 5oz at his one month appt). Now I'm only 5'1 and there was no way this big boy was coming out any other way. We love him to death and I can't wait to take him on his first Disney cruise. Now I have to lose the baby weight so I can go buy some clothes for this cruise. Bailey is set through. Janie and Jack a baby clothing store has a whole new line of pirate and ship outfits. I swear I almost brought it all just for the cruise.

Daisy - congrats!!!! Can't wait to meet you and your sweet Bailey!!!

Lanyards: You can take my 2 kiddos off the list. My kids want their own particular lanyard. So if we are doing them, it would just be me and DH. But I'm still not sure if we are doing them?? Looks like I can buy them from the ship for $6.00. Does that come with a pouch/badge holder? Anyone know? This is our first Disney cruise, so we def aren't getting the freebie.

Wristbands: Whatever the group decides is fine with me. I'm good for 2 adults and 2 kids still.

Couldn't get Tutto Italia on Wednesday night or Cape May for breakfast on the 26th. We're staying at Beach Club Villas so we thought Cape May would be good but so far I can't get in there that morning.

Not about WDW, but we couldn't get Palo brunch or tea on the cruise. We got our first choice for dinner but even getting on 90 days out we didn't get brunch or tea. I guess we'll be going straight to Rockin Bar D to hopefully get at least brunch.

Palo has been a pain for a lot of us. Maybe try Tutto for lunch? Lunch tends to be a lot easier to grab and the lunchmenu at Tutto is pretty good.

Do we even need to discuss this idea? From what I've read and am thinking myself, I'm pretty certain this is the strategy for our bunch!


PS; did you guys run into the topic about our cruise on the main cruise board? Somebody posted about discount being released but couldn't find anything available? So, discounthappy me went to check and same result; the DCL-website doesn't come up with our cruise at all. What is going on there? Discounts on their way!? Ship sold out? Maybe it's time we started to pay close attention to the DCL-website and if the cruise pops back up with prices.

Whoa, that is weird!!! I just looked myself and it's gone-- not even listed. I really cannot imagine it being sold out at this point with no promos and the time of year! Many of us here are talking about all of our issues with pulling kids out of school to enjoy this cruise. Wonder what is up????

Exactly; what is up?! I did notice when watching the cruise (did so until a couple of weeks ago), that it was selling out rather quickly. More so than for instance the Western around that time of year. Only 3 or 4 categories (except the suites, which you can not check online) were available back than, some were GTY. But sold out? Am having a bit of a hard time believing that. So come on DCL, give us a sign what this means!

Isn't there a thread somewhere from creative DISsers who are willing to make these types of things? Obviously we'd have to still put our names on them ourselves, but from what I recall some of the stuff that these people have made in the past has been really terrific. Let me see if I can find the thread and post a plea.

We are sitting here watching the Travel channel's show on the Disney cruise. We Tivo'd it a while ago, and my kids are obsessed with watching it. I don't mind it though...I love watching it too.

They are showing the Walt Disney suite right now. Can't wait to see it in person!!!

Just checked DCL site.

I can now book a room for our cruise.

Looks like prices for my category are the same or a bit higher.

There were 8 rooms in cat 9 available.
People must be moving to get away from me.

I just checked for Cat 4s and there are at least 8 left. The prices are about 30-35% more than we paid.

I also just went and checked on ours... For catagory 6 you can no longer choose your cabin..only gty available. The price is up by 43% of what we paid. it will also only let me choose late dinner seating..which is fine with us since that is what we asked for anyway. Last time we left from the east coast we had early seating..and felt like we were eating dinner at 2pm the time change kicks our bootys

Actually they would be really easy to make...and if I put them on neon green heavy duty card stock it would be easy to spot all of us. Maybe if I did one for everyone that could be one of my FE gifts to you all? I would need some type of list with everyones first names on them and cabin number... Let me know what you all think.
