Sept. 26, 2009 Magic

Can anybody explain that VS is? Either that, or I can't swear to break no rules. ;)
VS = Victorias Secret it started as a rather racy PJ or otherwise something a new bride may wear on her honeymoon. They have some normal every day things now but the guys still like the racy stuff better.

If you need more info it's best if I email you pictures as I like the DIS.

I will say this cruise is pretty tame at 35+ cabins. My last cruise was full of transatlantic'ers for the double dip at CC and I think i had like 100 cabins to do.

Which TransAtlantic cruise where you on? I did the Aug '07 from Barcelona back to Florida....We had a large group on that one...Looking forward to doing it again next Sept. '10

I get the picture alright. ;) I know what Victorias Secret is, although I mostly know it from their lingerie. (how do I spel that anyway?) And on that department, I'm more a French brand kinda girl. God gave us women the French and Italian for a very very good reason. :worship::worship: No worries though, no needs to cover eyes as I have no desire to keep it anything but very appropriate.

I wish it was September. Then, we will have to plan another trip. :thumbsup2 It is so quiet, no one chating? No Brunch available yet, still checking often. Boy am I hungry! Weigh in today for WW (Weight Watchers, free for us at work). I am not moving anywhere because I have a slice of German Chocolate cake every night, yummi.

Let's start a new topic!

Let's share, if you do not mind, what dinning seating (1st or 2nd) you have and what are you going to wear for a formal night (if attending).

We will be 1st seating, and I am going to wear a strapless black, flowy satin short dress, very sexy but elegant. Also thinking of getting an updo at the ship salon (head full of long hair). Baby will be in black/white dress from Children's Place. She just needs a matching purse. I love dressing up! How about you?

1st seating dining here, and this dress for formal night;

Still have to find somebody I trust with taking it in a little, though. :rolleyes1

Jacqueline,

Love that dress, fabulous. R u traveling alone, except your doggie? If you are maybe we can be seated together at a 4 person table? If you agree all we need to do is exchange or give our travel agents reservation numbers so we can be seated together. Sounds like a plan? You will be one foxy lady.

Boba, you've a lot yet to read ;) Since those postings, Xippe went (turned out my health was too shaky to take care of him, unfortunately) and Lieske -human friend, not a dog :rotfl:- was added to the reservation.

There has been some talk on the thread about some cruisers possibly linking their ressies together in order to be able to dine together, but don't know what happened to it? :confused3 If you ask me, knowing upfront your tablemates will be crazy because you know them from the DIS has it's benefits above wondering if you'll run into a normal or crazy bunch when paired up. Have to discuss it with Lieske though, her trip also. eventhough I threaten to push her overboard at least once a week

Boy, I do have a lot to read. It is nice to have a human friend. That is why I am not bringing my non-cruiser DH, he would be thrown overboard too. :rotfl2:Nah, I Love him too much!!! As I always say, we are all unique in our own way, especially me. Where are you from or which country? French? Do I have to read more? I am unique myself too, I was born in Europe, ex Yugoslavia. We have immigrated to US in 96'. I've used to be a resident alien. :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

No need to read further, I'll spill the beans. ;) I'm Dutch.

That's why your avatar had a familiarity around it! It's the slavian flair. What part of formar Yugoslavia do you come frome; Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, which of the many countries it turned into?

Formal nigh wear for us:
Juli (fire14) Pink or ceil blue ankle length dress not sure which I'm going wear yet.
Danny (fires_grumpy) Blue suit and disney tie
Jodi (no dis name) Hunter green ankle length dress that looks similar to Jacquline's except has sleeves.

As I recall, Keith (Kborn) was going to keep track of folks who wanted to link ressies for dinning as we got closer. But then he decided to go to the Police Academy instead of going on our cruise.

I think he was secretly afraid of us dragging him to the PJ Breakfast.

Hey all. We are first seating dining.

Formal night:
DH: Black suit
Me: black tea length satin halter dress
DS: khaki pants, linen long sleeve shirt, tie
DD: her "fancy" dress.

I wish I could still handle that part for everyone, it is killing me not going on this cruise with you guys...:sad:

Drag me, Drag me, are you kidding, I would have been there with bells on and not much more...:rolleyes1:scared1: But no VS, I have one word for ya'll, CHICKEN!

We have the first seating. I'm wearing a black suit, white shirt and a Disney tie. My sister is wearing a dress. My mother is in a wheelchair so she is wearing a nice blouse and dress slacks and my faher is wearing a suit.:thumbsup2

Thanks for all formal wear responses, looks like we will be looking pretty good. Keep them coming. A lot of cruisers lately like to skip that fancy part of cruise, I love to dress up. I just have to NOT bring as much clothes/shoes as on our previous RCCL trip.

Also to add looking forward to Escargot, not sure of spelling.

Paul2003, I work in Mayfield Hts.

WO go away on vaca for 2.5 weeks and have 20 some pages to read!
Thanks to all for thier hard work, looking forward to pj breakfast! Fat cat we will meet up! who ever posted the football games thank u. Wish i could purchase alcohol before the ship but, won't have time.
I hope we can still make some ressies as haven't had computer on vaca.

Haven't been to active the last few days as I was very ill (got to check out the local hospital) and am recovering from a severe kidney infection. I would be happy to organize the FE list by deck. Anyone else get their cabin assignment recently? I just added ivet's # today.

Very sad we did not get a Palo brunch. Husband was really looking forward to it but no luck. Hopefully there will still be some available on the ship.

Been working a bit on our FE gifts. Can't believe how close it's getting!
