Sept. 26, 2009 Magic

I would reckon you could leave contact info with the kids clubs? Which would mean; check if one of your mobile phones can be used abroad, give them that number and hopefully it wont ring.

Hey Crystal,

We, too, were worried about that with our boys when we cruised in 2007. Our youngest is on the Autism Spectrum, so we really were concerned about being "out of touch" with him.

The CM's were wonderful!!! They told us that everything would be fine and noted when we would be gone and out of reach. Everything went fine, and we would not hesitate to do it again! This is most likely the only excursion we will do other than CC, and I know we'll be back at the ship by noon to check in if need be. :thumbsup2

Thanks, guys!! DH and I talked about it again last night and we decided to go ahead and book it. I know that the CMs at DCL will take care of her, and we both are really excited about the excursion. It is for September 29th at 9 a.m., right?

Okie Dokie...how about Cabin Tours on Sunday September 27 at 3:00pm?? We will start on the lowest deck and work our way up to the Roy Suite. If this schedule works for everyone involved, I will look at the cabin locations and get a route worked out. Maybe they will not change the sea day schedules much...if at all.

Let me know and we will go from there.....Thanks!!!

That sounds great to me!! :woohoo:

Crystal, that is correct. Sept. 29 at 9am.....

I just posted this on the main cruise board:

We are on the Magic from 9/26 until 10/3 and I just noticed that Toy Story is being re-release on 10/02 in 3-D.

Would this mean a possible PremEAR at Sea for us? Or would we be out of luck since technically this movie had already been released in another form?

I will let you know what I find out.

How cool would that be? I absolutely am floored by the 3-D technology. We've seen Monsters v. Aliens and Up in 3-D and its just amazing!

That would be WAY COOL!!! :goodvibes Looking to hear what you find out!

We booked ours as well. We're taking our 14 year old dd as it will be her birthday on that day, and we also don't want to leave her behind "unsupervised" as she is too old for the kids clubs now. :thumbsup2

The whole "free to roam the ship" scares me to death, but we have set some guidelines with her, and she has to actually spend more time with us than the others do, so we are hoping for the best! It should be an awesome birthday surprise for her! :cool1:

Looks like we are good to go:

In 21 cruises, any time a movie is released on land, it is released as a PremEar at Sea. I don't think we've had a re-release, but both theatres are 3-D equipped, so I'd expect to see it on the ships.

I received an email from Disney about the breakfast. He basically said NO but was nice about it. He said that Lumieres is only open for a short time and they could not make it "private" as other guest would want to dine there. He offered us a lounge with a continental breakfast that we would have to pay for.

I replied and said NO. I told him that unless this was a new policy, it had been done before on both the Magic and the Wonder. I told him that in the past we had an area to the side for our group and other guests came and ate as usual.....it didnt seem to bother anyone. Heck we even had Shutters come take a group PJ photo in the Atrium on the steps. So I asked him to please check again and see what he could do. He replied back saying that he would check and let me know.

Soooo....I will keep you informed! :thumbsup2

Will be keeping my fingers crossed that this goes ahead, really looking forward to it. Thanks for all your hard work :)

Have fun, it will be here before you know it...

Hey gang, I told you I would show up and throw my 2 cents worth in, even though we are not going...IF EVERYONE SHOWS UP IN THEIR PJ'S, THEY WILL PUT EVERYONE TOGETHER, I CAN PROMISE YOU THAT....

BTW, I'm kind of glad I'm not going on this cruise, seems like everyone is going on the ATV excursion, which should be fun, but I would hate for everyone to see me in all my GLORY :rolleyes1 on Orient Beach....:rotfl2::rotfl2::scared:

But, that would have been a way to see ALL my Disney Tattoos....:cool2:

Keith, with this post you managed to shut the others up for hours at an end. Which is a big accomplishment. ;):lmao::rotfl2::laughing:

Holy smokes. I just spent over an hour catching up. I must admit I've had a bit of sour grapes as we had a scare regarding employment and were sure we weren't going. Thankfully, it was just a scare and we are a mere post away from paying off our cruise as that is our intention after I write this post. Missed all the hubbub of the 90 day window so hoping I make the 75th day reservation window.

High Tea: My daughter and I def want to do that, so I'm trying to see when everyone was doing that to try and see if something opens up. Is it Monday then. And seems like Thursday is the main brunch day?

Chris/Sue: your posts have me cracking up!!!

Want to check the list to see who cruising with this group has any kids in the 3-5 year old range. I know there are some. I'm so worried that my 3 year old especially is not going to want to do the kid's club so hoping to introduce her to another youngster to get her into it. Lemme know!!

Okay, time to go pay off the cruise that I was sure was never going to happen!! ;) And then time to start looking for FE gifts.

You sound like me...I was unsure if I was going to get to go on this trip up until 2 days ago...we are all paid in full and now it is on to catching up and planning.

I have a list of everyone going and the ages of the kids on page 9. The link is in my signature line. Maybe it will help with finding someone for your daughter to be friends with.

See ya soon....

I suppose I should pay for this cruise soon.

Using my Disney Visa so 0.0% interest for 6 months. So waiting for 75 day mark vs. 90 day mark.
