Sept. 26, 2009 Magic

Want to check the list to see who cruising with this group has any kids in the 3-5 year old range. I know there are some. I'm so worried that my 3 year old especially is not going to want to do the kid's club so hoping to introduce her to another youngster to get her into it. Lemme know!!

I have a 4 y/o son traveling with us & my sister has a 3 y/o son as well, so maybe we can hook them up! :dance3:

I think that I missed one or two orders for the wristbands (I am sorry). Here is what I have currently:

Dis Name Adults/Kids
Aristocats lover 2
BananasTwo 2/2
Crystal_27 2/1
haileyboo 2/2
KimmySue's Sister 2
kpadalik 2/1
thepanmanman 2
Paul2003 2
Fire_14 & fires_grumpy 3
Fourgonefishn 3 2
hal001 3/2
Disney Sweetie 4
lexiconjoe 4
Frankiesmom 5
KimmySue 6
Sftnslky 7
Spectrum-Turbo 8

Please let me know if you would like to order wrisbands. Although, we still have some time before I am going to place the order. I would like to start the final research so that we can decide which design to order and get a final estimate on the price per band.

Please add my sister "Saoirse" for 2 adults/1 child. Thanks!

I suppose I should pay for this cruise soon.

Using my Disney Visa so 0.0% interest for 6 months. So waiting for 75 day mark vs. 90 day mark.

With the money you save we all can have free drinks on you. :lmao: Look forward to seeing you this fall. I hope we can get together for a drink. See you soon.

thepanman:banana:

DONE!!!!! YAY...we are officially going!! :yay:

So glad you guys are gonna make it!!:yay: I know so many people have had employment scares, including us. So I know it feels so good to have it resolved and have this to look forward to. Congrats!

Okay, time to go pay off the cruise that I was sure was never going to happen!! ;) And then time to start looking for FE gifts.

We have a DD5 coming with us who will be more than proud to show a "kid" around the club  PM me if you would like her to send an email.

Today is a GREAT day! Just paid off the cruise!! Now I can save for my fruity drinks!! :cool1::banana::yay:

I'd like to know more. I didn't see this on the DCL excursions, where/who/how much? Age limits? How long? :yay::yay:

Hi everyone....I was just wondering if any one in our group is on Facebook or MySpace? I have tons of friends from the WBTA cruise in Sept. 2010 on my Facebook page. It is a great way to get to know them before the cruise. Also helps to see the face so when you get to the ship you will know that they are part of your group.

It would be great to know your face before the cruise so I could recognize you when I see you at the Sailaway Party!!!

Greetings from St. Maarten,

We show current availability on the ATV Island Tour & Orient Beach tour on your arrival date. We take groups of ten riders.

The ATV Island Tour & Orient Beach Tour provides an exciting guided tour via ATV sports quadbikes around the French Side of St Maarten.

Its an absolutely unique way to "sightsee" and tour the island in the fresh air and outside the confines of buses and vans. The 2.5hr tour travels by public road for around 50% of the trip and on "Offroad" dirt tracks and beach for the other 50% of the excursion.

After being picked up at the cruise terminal, you will head to Point Blanch, for your safety briefing and departure. There is adequate storage under the seat for any bags or valuables.

The Quadbikes are all new, well maintained, and are "automatic", with no gears to worry about, so they are easy and safe for beginners. Helmets (provided free of charge) are compulsory. You will ride along palm lined public roads, off road dirt tracks, and sections of the beach.

There are a couple of stops for photo opportunities, and a highlight of this tour is the stunning panoramas of Orient Bay and Pinel Island on the French side of the Island. You will also enjoy great views of St. Barths, and the deserted Tintemare Island, which all provide great photo opportunities. The tour then heads down from the hills and onto Orient Beach, where you will spend an hour or so, at our Orient Beach club. There are bar, restaurant, shower, and toilet facilities. Swimming at Orient Bay is great, and a wonderful way to freshen up after your "dirtbiking". (Please note that free sunloungers are no longer available at this location but are available for rent on the beach). Then, its back onboard, for the return ride to Philipsburg.

Finally you will climb a steep mountain road way above the cruise terminal, where you can get great photos looking down on your cruise ship from high above the bay of Philipsburg.

Pickup Time at the cruise Ship Terminal is 8:40am / 11.40am (transfer time is under 10 mins).

The excursion is $69usd single riders, $55usd double riders, $33usd under 12yrs.

Riders must be 18yrs or older and we do not recommend the tour for under 7yrs.

Tour Specifications:

*
Transport is included in the cost of the excursion.

There is a combined 350lb weight limit per bike. Single and Double rider options are available.

The day consists of 2.5hrs Quadbiking and Beach Break.

CH10Dad Glad you are interested! The more the merrier! :cool1:

Just so everyone is clear this is not a DCL sponsored excursion. Other cruise lines do sponsor this one and it is open to anyone. Also be advised that it goes to the French side Orient Beach where they do not have tan lines if you know what I mean. :rolleyes1

Here is the info about the excursion which is available at stmaartencruiseexcursions dotcom:

I could have sworn I posted a reply yesterday to a bunch of this stuff, but I guess not. :( So here we go again.

YAY FOR SO MANY OF US PAYING OFF THE CRUISE!! Now some questions for you pros...

1. Fish Extenders: Did most of you buy these on ebay or make them?

2. Autograph books: Do they sell them on the ship? Do they do this on cruises like they do in Disney? Should I bother?

3. Do you have to sign up for the character breakfast? Or is that just something that you are assigned to.

You sound like me...I was unsure if I was going to get to go on this trip up until 2 days ago...we are all paid in full and now it is on to catching up and planning.

I have a list of everyone going and the ages of the kids on page 9. The link is in my signature line. Maybe it will help with finding someone for your daughter to be friends with.

See ya soon....

Yay for you guys too!!! Will check out the page and see if I can't send some PMs.

I have a 4 y/o son traveling with us & my sister has a 3 y/o son as well, so maybe we can hook them up! :dance3:

DEFINITELY!!! Thanks. I think for my 5 year old this will be a piece of cake. But my 3 year old will be a tough one to sell. We'll definitely have to hook up that first night when they go check everything out in the club.

So glad you guys are gonna make it!!:yay: I know so many people have had employment scares, including us. So I know it feels so good to have it resolved and have this to look forward to. Congrats!

We have a DD5 coming with us who will be more than proud to show a "kid" around the club  PM me if you would like her to send an email.

That would be wonderful. He'd get a real kick out of that. PM me and I can exchange email addresses with you.

Hope everyone had a fabulous 4th of July weekend. It was crazy beautiful here after a month and a half of rain every day.

I'm lazy and not 'homy' what so ever, so bought one on ebay.

I'm no help about the rest. ;)

Not sure what I am doing...but I made a group page for our cruise on Facebook...Disney Cruise Lines Sept. 26, 2009.....see if you can find it and we can go from there.....

Enlighten me; what is facebook?
