Congrats on the birth of Delany! :cake:

There is filtered water on tap at the drink station. Suggest you get some of those sport cap water bottles and just refill them. The filtered water on board is better than bottled water. There is also HI-C and pink lemonade however those have calories. There are diet soft drinks as well.

The fridge is a cooling box. It has shelves in it to prevent breakage. At best you can probably get 10 cans of beer in there. Bring zip loc bags. Ask for ice from roorm steward. fill zip loc bag with ice. place in fridge. It helps get things cooler. You will have to do this daily.

I have a mini soft sided cooler I leave in my bathtub. My room steward would ice my beer down twice a day. It rocked!!!!!
I would just grab and go....

Wow, that sure is detailed info. :thumbsup2 Good to know about the filtered water. Saves us of serious lugging.

I'm a pain in the rear, I know. Kick me when we meet onboard. ;) Diet soft drinks? Anything besides coke? I just hate coke. :rolleyes1 I have no problems lugging along a couple of bottles of light lemonade, but again; if there's no need to.......

Good tips also about the room steward! Will remember that. Have to get used to sharing my fridge, so that trick might come in very handy. :rotfl: Think I've even got a soft sided cooler somewhere myself.

Congrats on making your ressies for PALO!!!! :cool1:You must be relieved, and you even get more goodies with the REAS package onboard!!! Kudo's to you!!!!:thumbsup2
[/size/

Thanks, it's a relieve for sure! And you're right, the goodies are a nice second part of the package.

If you are interested in the cabana massage at CC, I would book it now while available. At times they do fill up, so better to book now and cancel later if you change your mind!!! ;)[/COLOR]

OK, thanks for the heads up, I'm off to book right now! ;) I've decided it's going to be the one thing I'll be asking for my birthday. If they want to, people can pitch in. Hey, it's a birthday cruise after all, so I need my present, right? :rotfl2:

About the gals high tea; sounds like a blast if you ask me! As said, we're booked on the last seaday, day 6 at 3 pm (as all high teas are)

Congratulations on your little princess: princess!!!

Do you like those powdered packets to add to water -- like lemonade, fruit punch, etc? If so, bringing the individual packets would take up almost no room in the luggage and easy to carry around onboard for when you want something other than plain water. I think there is diet beverages other than coke, but won't swear to it. I don't drink carbonated beverages at all, except the occasional champagne or root bear float. :rotfl:

You got it, girl! Ask and ye shal receive! :cool1:

I will book ours on day 6 also, and hopefully a few others will. It would be lots of fun!!!!:grouphug:

I get those 8 oz sport cap water bottle for the kids.
Then I refill them with Tequila/ RUM/ Vodka and goto the drink station on 9.

There are three fountain stations in a triangle. Look carefully because they are not all the same. The main ones are there.
I believe last time there was a
Sprite Zero
Caffeine Free Diet Coke

This seems to change a bit according to reports though.

I actually do lug water on board for excursions. I only bring one case though. I also bring capri suns for the kids. The main point of these are for excursions and castaway cay. While soft drinks are included on castaway cay you have to walk to the picnic area to get them.

FREE soda Take the quiz

Where is soda Free

At dinner?
From a waiter on deck 9?
From the drink station at 9?
In the theater?
On Castaway Cay from a waiter?
At the Castaway Club reception?
At lunch inside Lumieres?
At lunch inside Parrot Cay?
AT lunch inside Topsiders?
In the teen club?
AT the bars?
In the boarding area pre-cruise?

Where are the FREE drinks

Art Auction has martinis (Hmmm I really like this splatter paint drawing)
Captains Gala. (Note if you have early dining you can goto the gala after dinner which is intented for late dining and get a round)
After liquor tastings? (Leftovers!!! Woo hoo!!!!)
In FatCat's cooler on deck 9 in the cigar area

Drink by volumes
Waiters often offer 2-1 when the frozen concoction is getting a bit melty. (Note they pour the rum in it in front of you...Always good to have the 8oz rum supply yourself to top it off)
Mixed drinks by the picther in certain clubs
Buying a round of beers or water or soda? Buy 5 and 6th is free. (You can order these via room service as well)

Too funny fatcat:: you are definitely a resource my DH will be happy to have :goodvibes ooh ooh ooh i think i can answer the drink quiz....

soda is never free from a waiter, right (even if they dont charge you, there should be a tip ;)).
soda always free in the dining rooms (didn't think it mattered what meal you were at).
you gotta pay at walt disney theater, whether in preludes or in the theater. dink station deck 9 outside topsiders is free.
the bars are not free:mad:
never been to castaway club reception or teen club so don't know- do i get points off:laughing:

We're doing the paid in full dance over here:cool1::dance3::cheer2: kids officially given permission to get excited, contact fellow kid cruisers, obsess about excursions, activities and FE gifts - oh wait, that's me:rotfl:

so who else is staying up to do ressies tonite?:surfweb: wantin palo dinner w/ DH, palo brunch w/ Dgrandma and excursions. Speaking of.... who else is doin stingrays at CC? DS did it last year and loved it, DD is old enough this year. we went around 11 last time and it worked great. DS had another friend from DIS with him and we got some great pix of them.

what's palo hi tea about - i see there are a few girls doin that day 6 3pm right?

and sorry - i didn't realize our info was so incomplete:rolleyes1 DH36 = Kevin; DW35 = me, Heather; DS8 = cameron; DD5 = jenna and Dgrandma (older than she looks;)) = Sharon. still in 5518 and 5509 as far as i know. Sharon doesn't have her FEt his time but the rest do. we are late dinner, signed up for bracelets if we get them, and PJ breakfast if it happens. what have i forgotten?

Hal, oh you only forgot to mention your pincode. ;)

High Tea is well, High Tea. More or less. It's at sea days at 3 pm, $5,- per person. If you go to a website called castawayclub you'll find the option 'menus and food on there. Click it and then click "palo high tea menu/pictures". Et voilà; the menu and pictures.

The Fatcat-drinking-quiz; drinks in diningrooms free. Waiter; never free. As said, the tip and if I'm correct the mentioned situations with a waiter are all also no free drink itself. Neither is a drink through roomservice. :( No idea about kids and teenclubs, haven't got any. CC reception; I would think so it would be free drinking. Bars and preboarding area; pay for it. Drink station deck 9; free. So, just how bad did I do?

Thanks about the info about the drinks. Sounds like I'll be bringing along a couple of bottles of lemonade. :)

PS; I just found the newest menus posted on June 20th. You guys see it yet? If not; http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2214851

Do you want me to pick up some powered drink stuff you can add to water? I've seen several flavored teas choices, Crystal light which is a zero or low calorie drink that come in various flavors such as lemonade, peach tea, fruit punch etc.

I'm suspossed to be at work tonight working 11p-7a so I'll be up booking stuff.

I know of them, well didn't know they came in lemonade flavors! Forgive me my ignorance (haven't got lemonade in our Holland unfortunately), but they taste the same as the 'real thing'?

If so; hell yes I'm all over your offer! That would be a great thing to even bring it home with me. Get a fix for my lemonade soft spot. :cloud9:

Good luck for all of those trying to make their bookings tonight! Fingers crossed you all get what you are hoping for. :thumbsup2

I wil be up booking ressies tonight. DH thinks I am nuts doing this!

Very funny, fatcat!

I think the new menues look good. I was expecting the worse and they look fine.

goofieslonglostsis -I think they taste like the real thing. I think you will be fine with the powdered stuff! Congrats on booking your trifeca! I am hoping for a double hitter (brunch and dinner). :cool1:

Yes far as I can tell it tastes like real thing minus calories. I will look and see what flavors I can find and make you up a variety pack so you can sample away. I have a cherry limeade in my cupboard that I love.

What's the number one thing you are looking for?

I am looking for 4 for Palo on Tuesday Night.

Heather, I have you on my FE list as being in room 5510. Do I have it wrong? I think the final FE list has you being in 5510 as well. Just checking...don't want to deliver FEs to the wrong room!

Grrr, it is almost like she can feel that I want to be somewhere at midnight. Why is my 9 month old refusing to go back to sleep???????????????? I hope I can get her back to sleep before midnight.
