One more question for tonight...and I'm putting it in a separate response only because I can't send PMs until I hit 10 so at least I'll get 3 in tonight.

I've read you guys talking about the Passporter. I googled it and found the site. I see they have one coming out for 2009. What is your suggestion on waiting until the '09 version comes out or just ordering a 2008 one. What about Deluxe versus just the book?

I I LOVE MY PASSPORTER I have the 2006 & 2008 versions. This will be our 3rd Disney Cruise and I still find stuff in the passporter that I never knew. I have to have my family hold me back to not run out and buy the new one You will love it.

Aristocats_lover.....where did you get your pirate outfits from? They look great. I have got to get new outfits....I no longer fit into the one I wore on a previous cruise!! .....Last September I went into the Party City store in Orlando and they had some really neat stuff for Pirates. I found out that there is a store about 60 miles from me, so I may go there and look to see what I can find.

Disney Sweetie - Dave's costume I just purchased on ebay for less than $40 with free shipping. My costume I actually put together from bits and pieces...the shirt I had from Hot Topic, and I had the leggings, so I just went and got the boots, hat, and accessories. I tend to add accessories as I see them!

BananasTwo - I don't know if everyone dresses up but we sure are! I never miss a reason to get in costume (I'm a lot of fun at work lol) and my husband finally agreed to get one! I was kind of surprised, guess he's just excited about the cruise. He even wants to wear the Disney ties lol. Before this the most Disney he's worn is a tan baseball cap with a tiny embroidered Mickey or the groom ears (pictured).

sftnslky - I am so jealous! I am usually always done with stuff early but I am having issues making fish extender decisions. One gift, or multiple gifts? One gift for whole family, different gifts for everyone? Themes? Oy! Usually I have no trouble with this sort of thing. I have something in mind that I think would be really cool, but I am second-guessing it.

Heatherlynn- What is with our husband's families? Take your poor kids to Disney! That's funny about the similiar cats...we were lucky with Twink because even tho he is all white w/blue eyes he is not deaf. He literally had two tiny gray hairs on the top of his head, and even tho they have fallen out now, they told me that's why he can hear. Love your TRs by the way! I too have a large selection of Disney clothes

LOL thanks.. just because I am about to burst out and tell everyone now what I got them..I have to tell what we did. We did several smaller gifts in themes with themed cello bags a diffrent theme each day and with hand made notes and we got one per cabin per day. I can't wait till September!!

So EVERYONE dresses up as pirates huh?? At least our cruise is close to Halloween. So DH and I will be able to scrounge something up. We'll just be pirates next Halloween.

On all of the cruises I have been on there are tons of people that dress up on Pirate Night! My husband has an outfit that he wore before that he will probably wear again. The kids dont have anything and I need a new outfit, so I will have to go shopping before September!!

So far I've gotten zero emails from anyone who wants to do the lanyards. I have looked into a few of them, but even if we ordered over 50 of them they are still not budget friendly.. but I will be trying a few other sites later today or this weekend. will let you know what I find out. Btw I know our group has a name, but I don't remember what it is could you please remind me?

Hello everyone....just wanted to drop in and say "We're in"! This will be our 9th DCL cruise, my wife and I renewed our 10yr wedding vows on Castaway 2 yrs ago. We had to skip last year because of $$$$$, don't you just hate that I guess I should introduce ourselves, Me (Keith) 48, DW (Tina) 4? and our little man (Joshua)8. Our ann. date is Oct. 4th & Tina's B'day is Oct. 7th. I know, we get off the boat on the 3rd. But, there is a reason for this cruise, we just found out our oldest daughter is going to make us grandparents sometimes in Oct. No, its a good thing, I just refuse to beleive I'm that old

Hiya, First of all I would like to say my welcome to all the recent newbies

who have joined our cruise .

DH and I have been back a couple of weeks now, from our trip to WDW.
We had fab weather hitting 84 some days .
As always we had a brilliant trip, we stayed at Port Orleans again, which is one of our favourite resorts.

Now we are wishing the time away until our next trip / CRUISE.

Have just caught up with my pms to others regarding Fish extenders, Lanyards and the PJ breakfast, all of which we would love to do.

Hope everyone is well and that nobody else has to cancel this cruise

Hi everyone. We are doing the lanyards, but since I still can PM anyone, it may be a day or so before you get our info.

I'm all about looking for pirate costumes now though. I'm pretty sure I nailed down DDs and DSs. Just not sure if DH and I are going to dress up.

Impromptu poll: Any other adults dressing up for what I understand to be a pirate themed night? (Can't ya tell I'm a newbie??) I know A-L is. Anyone else?

We have an anniversary in October, but celebrating it early as we'll be off the cruise by the time it rolls around (October 14th...great time of year!!)
