Please check page 9 .... see the link in my signature line below...to see if I have all your correct information such as names, cabin numbers, FE participation, ages of children. This information helps us to know who we are traveling with and also for the FE gifts. Cant believe we are cruising THIS YEAR!!! Like the earlier post said, when we boooked the cruise, it was well over a year away, now it is 8 months away and still have so much to do!!!
It will be here before we know it.

BTW did we ever decide on if the FE was everyday, once during the cruise, just kids or just families? Are we doing the Secret Mickey as well??

Can any of you tell I am starting to stress.. if you HAVEN'T cruised before you might be thinking..."Gosh it is soooo far away", but if you HAVE cruised before you are most likely thinking "Oh My Goodness we only have 8 months left..NOT ENOUGH TIME, NOT ENOUGH TIME TO DO EVERYTHING". Well, I am off to reseach flights and try to not break the bank...and see if the hotel we want to stay "Nickeloden" in is taking reservations yet. Have a nice Thursday all!!

As far as the FE....not real sure if there is a set way that our group is doing it. I normally just do it as I can and do a gift that is for the whole family.

You can contact goofieslonglostsis to be added to the Secret Mickey roster if you have not already. She is in charge of that.

I am one that would say "OH NO....only 8 months and so much still to do!!" With my daughters wedding on Sept 5, I am trying to deal with it too. I will be so glad to get on the Magic and just relax!!!

His name is Mark and he is in Cabin 6622..we actually have connecting cabins 6620 & 6622...so Mark and my twin boys [kaleb and kasey] will be in the same cabin. I'm not sure if I did email goofieslonglostsis or not so i will email her right after I send this post. And I am SOOOOOO glad I am not the only one who is FREAKING out. You know what they say Misery Love's Company

As for Character brkfst. I've had 3 Families so far.

I was thinking of doing a one day gift for the FE...mostly because I have read it can be a time consuming process to do more than once. We have several groups without children, so I think by family would be best. However within the family I am personally thinking of doing seperate gifts for kids and adults.

I happen to remember another reason why we sail with Disney Cruise Line. This past Sept. I was on a Disney Cruise. While I was waitng for my return flight home I was talking to a woman who sailed with us. I can't believe what she told me. As we all know Disney & Carnival sails in & out of Port Canaveral. I believe she said it was this summer. Both ships left out of Port Canaveral. During the week they were out a tropical storm was heading for Port canaveral so they (the ships) had to return to the port at Ft. Lauderdale. Disney Cruise Line had there buses to take people back to Port Canaveral, Carnival Cruise Line said "sorry you're on your own". This woman also told me that she heard that DCL had boxed lunches for everones trip back to Port Canaveral.

THIS IS WHY WE SAIL WITH DISNEY!!!!

Yes their cabin and ours..Me, DH and our 2 DD's will be in 6620 so I guess that means Yes, to the FE's in both cabins. did that make sense I know what I am trying to say..hope you do as well

Good Morning all you cruisers...

I have some sad news today... DH and I are going to back out of this cruise. Things have changed so our plans had too also.
But we are booked on the TransAlantic the following September.
It will be (I hate to say it) our 40th anniversary. What a cool anniversary, and we did celebrate our 30th on the Magic.. the first 7 day cruise!
I think we have a pattern going

Are you talking about the PJ Breakfast? If so, I need to take a poll and see what the majority want to do. One suggestion was to have it early on the morning of Castaway Cay. I will have to get in touch with DCL and go thru the process to see if we can even do it.

Ive been scoping out that thread for weeks and did notice you were on!

Im not sure with Leslie and Brian. He's a ::cop: and sometimes his work gets shifted around alot...on our 2007 cruise ... we changed dates about 3 times before we all settled on 1 date


And YES Chris.... it's all because of you!
It's really because of 2 new jobs DH is taking, working at a Dr's office, and he'll be teaching too. It will be a more stable time a year later.

Unfortuntely my DH is the most antisocial person in the world so we won't be joining in any of the stuff you guys get up to together, but I thought I'd say hi anyway...
