Sept. 26, 2009 Magic

Oh, but that can be a good thing that not too many folks know sign language. We used it to cheat on exams in high-school. :rolleyes1
I can't believe how busy things are overhere.

Cheating???? NO, I never cheated in school my entire life! :lmao: My best friend and I used to make people mad with our signing. And it also proved very worthy in my college years at bars! :rotfl2: --Until you figured out that the guys just liked the idea of checking a "deaf chick" off their list of to do's. :confused3:lmao::rotfl2:

And it sounds like you need to talk to some people about their timing regarding your recent business. You've got a vacation coming up, girlfriend!!!:rotfl:

Listed below are the people we have signed up to attend the PJ Breakfast on Friday October 2 at 7:30A in Lumieres.

Nutzaboutdisney/Bigferrell is now down to 3A/3C

Ugggg, this still makes me furious, especially because they just won't do anything about it. They took your money for a specified timeslot and then proceeded to give you a confirmation, which they are now not honoring. And, I told Karen yesterday that we would try to switch to the 11:40 a.m., but they told me that I couldn't switch mine. *What* is going on with these people? :confused3

They really have lost it! Jim said that they do all of the booking for the excursions in the Caymen Islands, so it is a big company. Sorry you couldn't get moved, and thanks for trying! We may be the sole DIS people on the second excursion, but we are going to work really hard to let bygones be gone and enjoy it! :thumbsup2

Maybe Jacqueline could teach *us* the cuss words. :rotfl2:

Now your talking!:lmao:

Just bring the bottle...we can create a cabin-tours drinking game. :rotfl2:

I don't know, Crystal....Tequila, cabins, empty bottles, spin the bottle...:rotfl2:

I just received something I ordered on Ebay.

Very cute indeedy!

Preparing for a Topless beach, LOL. That is what's going on. :rotfl::rotfl:It was a very warm, stuffy day yesterday. Home alone, Hubby and DD at the park.

:lmao::worship::lmao:

Ok now go easy on me here. What is up with having to pay for luggage on the plane ? Carry on free, check back cost $20.00 each! For what we pay for airline tickets you should at least be able to take what you need for the trip!
Now we will do some rethinking of packing this weekend. So know I have my carry on bag plus my cpap machine, plus my camera which will be with me. Also have carry one with snacks and FE gifts probably.
We are flying Delta on the way down(day of flight), switch flights in Atlanta ( maybe to pick up a few fellow cruisers) Then for return flight it's American Airlines with a stop in Chicago before we get home to MIlwaukee Wi.

Milwaukee? We are flying out of MKE. Flying on Airtran.

I posted a link a while ago about double American miles and double American Elite status.

[Buy a variety pack, meaning 1 Lg,Med,Small and 3 Skinny, Total of 6. I also bought another set of same 1st combo for carry-on which will consist of clothes for Sat only(bathing, day dress, evening attire).

Thank you! I bought the variety pack and then the 3 skinny packing tubes. However, I got an email today saying the packing tubes were sold out! So they gave me 25% off and free shipping on my next order (at ebags.com). So now I have to find something else to buy. Maybe another variety pack? I think I will wait until I get my shipment on Friday and then see what I could use more of. Thanks for the suggestions though :)

Ugh! It's been a rough afternoon. Bailey starts daycare on Monday and I just talked to one of his teachers. There were a few babies crying b/c it was the beginning of nap time and I lost it. I've cried for the last 45 minutes which I know is stupid. We've picked one of the top places (at least it better be for what we're paying) in atlanta to send him to and I love my job. So now I'm obessing over packing cubes. Yes you read that. I'm trying to figure out how many packing cubes and which size to buy to use on the cruise. The talk on here and the thread on the main cruise board has we all ready to spend money. Retail therapy here I come!!!!

Oh and I also came on here to see about an updated FE list. Since I'm almost done and I want to make sure I have one for every cabin. This time in 2 weeks I'll almost be at WDW!!!!!:banana::banana:

Duct tape can also be used to make a dress or shirt if your luggage goes missing. I saw a lady outside at the Today show the other day with a dress made entirely of duct tape.

OUCH!

Sounds like you guys put it to good use! :thumbsup2:lmao:

"Deaf chick" on their list of to do's? Darn, that's bad!

And it sounds like you need to talk to some people about their timing regarding your recent business. You've got a vacation coming up, girlfriend!!!:rotfl:

Tell me about it! I already told folks 'don't expect anything from me in the first 3 weeks after getting home'. It does kinda also help, though. Next week Thursday, I'll be in a meeting until about 10 pm. (hopefully it wont run late...) On Friday, we leave at about 5 am for the airport. So basically, no time to watch the clock and sigh at how time doesn't want to move forward anymore. Before I know it, I'm on the plane. :cool1::thumbsup2

Now only to get my DME docs. Know TA shipped them Friday, but haven't seen squat yet. :headache: Need to do all kinds of stuff including a grocery run, but don't dare to leave the house. Knowing my luck, as soon as I turn the corner they are ringing my bell.

I just booked and so excited, surprised my husband as a retirement gift-He retires Friday and we leave Saturday nothing like jumping into travel!!!

We are looking forward to horning in on two of our daughters family vacation!!!!
Can't wait to sail.

Welcome, first of all!

Wow, you just booked!? Talk about jumping onboard. :thumbsup2

pixiedust:WELCOME ABOARD!!!:cheer2:

What a wonderful way to jumpstart retirement!!!!!!

Awww, hang in there, Hon. I know it's rough, but it does get easier...then they go into Kindergarten and you start losing it all over again. :grouphug:

Ummmm, wow! Can't imagine taking it off...ouch! :rolleyes1

I don't know, Crystal....Tequila, cabins, empty bottles, spin the bottle...:rotfl2:

Yeah, and what's worse is that *at the time* we would think it the best idea in the world! Maybe we'll hold off on the tequila afterall! :rotfl:

Yeah, I was shocked at that too when DH and DD flew to SD in August - - I had no idea that airlines charged for checked baggage (we obviously don't fly much). :scared1:

That actually is a brilliant plan, my dear. You probably won't be sleeping anyway (I never do the night before our trip), so you might as well fill those hours as best you can. :thumbsup2

:welcome: to The DIS and to our sail group!! What a wonderful present for your hubby! :flower3:

OOh, that did sound bad! :lmao: It was an experience, for sure! :goodvibes

Keeping busy has it's advantages for sure!!! :thumbsup2 Just wish I wasn't such a procrastinator, then the busy part wouldn't be a big deal!:rotfl:

Still waiting for docs here, too. I decided that when they finally arrive, then I need to begin the online check in, packing, finishing fe and gifts, etc.;)
(Did I mention that I am a procrastinator????:scared1:)

Yep this is why we're driving this time around. Of course we only live in atlanta so it's not that far. We just have to much stuff with Bailey. Just remember you get 2 carry-ons. A carry-on bag and a personal item (which is a purse, laptop bag, I consider a camera case in this). Also I think Delta is $15 for hte first checked bag and $25 for the second. Good luck!

When flying to the US, I always go without sleep the night before. That way -combined with some nice drugs :lmao: - I sleep during the flight and will be on Florida time asap. Back; we'll be dead tired after a day of embarkation, US domestic flight, airport running etc. So again, sleep across the ocean. Et voilà; land at 8 am, which does help to beat the jetleg some.

Oops, didn't realize the louzy that sentence was. :lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

Boba -

thanks so much for posting about the packing cubes. They came yesterday & are awesome! I had never heard of them, but they will make packing & unpacking so much easier!

We're almost there guys......

I am such a lemming. Just ordered packing cubes. Nevermind that I'm already on vacation with the kids at my parents' house, and already packed once... But we've bought so much stuff while here, I'm afraid to pack for the cruise now!

Besides, I have to figure out how to fit Haileyboo's tutu in my suitcase... princess:
