Keri - I love your obsessive calendar planning - I'm so proud I have tears in my eyes!

Deanna - I did not throw my undies at Clint on stage, but that is very funny! I met him right as he was walking up to go on stage to do a show. After the show, we talked for a long time and then - you know the rest of the story!

Ingrid - Don't worry, there's plenty of time left to obsess! You could even start the week before the trip and have plenty of obsessing time. Hee Hee! I'm sure the Northwest thing will resolve itself in time.

Erin - I really think you will fit right in with your tropical attire. You will not be a goob. Some people don't even dress up at all! Other than the eye patch and earring, I don't think I will be dressing up. The kids will be in pirate attire and Clint will be in the mandatory t-shirt I made, but that's it. Oh and I would love to see a picture of you and Keri next time you are together!

I am another one of those people that love the planning stage I have to read every review, every thing I can get my hands on for ideas.

By the way for the basketball team I only want tall people on the other team so I can run under there legs when there not looking.

Going to the Mall tonight with out DH or DD, figure I am going to spend too much and he might take a heart attack So don't tell him.

I need Cruise stuff, Gifts for teachers, stuff for her birthday present, and back to school clothes.mmmmmmmmmmm and after that I will need a pedicure for my poor feet. what can I do everything is coming quick. but at the same time I can't wait for the month to go by.

heehee..I just thought of something. Occasionally, I post on other forums here (yes, I do occasionally wander *hanging head in shame*), and I'm thinking they must look at my signature and think "hmm..unusual names".

And another thing I'm thinking about (ok..so it's a thought-provoking morning), I was scrolling through our board here from the beginning. What happened to all the people that posted months ago? Where'd they go??

okay, since we're confessing our OCD re: planning, I've geeked out and created a little sheet that some of you may find helpful.

It's a table with everyone's screen name, who they're travelling with, where they're from, if they're an Uppity or Lowly, cabin # and what they've filled out re: the 5 questions 'bout themselves.

I just printed a copy too....I'm really glad I'm not the only OCDer in the group!!! Has anyone realized that we haven't planned our vatious DIS meetings yet?! EEEKKKK!!! We ned to schedule a meet 'n' greet, the pub crawl and Dennis's demise (cribbage time---sorry Dennis Where/when do all of my felllow OCDers think we should plan all of this. I hope I haven't left out any important activities

I am trying to get going on my last minute stuff, just been too busy with other things.
How is everyone printing out their door signs?? Magnetic paper? Laminate and attach magnets???

Anyone else going to try to use walkie talkies on board?? I wanted to try them.

Took DD11 to hair dresser for a new doo, She has been waiting ALL summer, she let her hair grow so she could donate it to "Locks for Love". They cut off a FOOT!! Now its SHORT!!!! But she loves it.

Marsha good luck on your shopping trip, I went with DD's last weekend to the mall......man was I exausted .

We are planning a girls Pedicure session a few days before the Cruise, got to have our toe's all dolled up and pretty

Well I got to go, woke up with a migraine this am and the computer screen is wiggling all over the place

Okay,

I'm just flying by the seat of my pants here.... I haven't have time to breathe!! Planning, isn't it the day before you leave?

You all put me to shame, I don't even remember what cabin room we have, I know we are Cat 6... I think!! David do you remember. I know we are uppities. I know we have a verandah. I know I am the BVP planner. I know I must play cribbage and beat someone by the name of Dennis?

I need someone to plan for me! I use to be on top of all things and all times. It must be the age.... If I don't make a note of something important, I forget. Sometimes, I make a note and then I forget the note.

I AM BAD, I am one of those people who do not get excited about a trip until I am actually there. Does anyone have any OCDer drugs out there that they are willing to share with me so I can get on board?

Look, I'm so bad that my 8 year old told me how many days we had until the cruise this morning. When I think of how many days I have left and what I must accomplish, I get overwhelmed!!!!

Thank you Bpicard9 - I love the spreadsheet, with starting late everything is all mushed up in my head, I see I miss a few things if you want to add them.

I am an Uppity Cabin 6089

DD five things,

1. she has dimples with a great smile that she knows how to work at age 2.
2. She is going to pre-school this year, turning 3 on Sept 5th just making it for the Disney activities.
3. She loves Mickey but don't want him to touch her.
4. She started flying at 2 months old and loves it.
5. She might have a new cousin by the time we get home, that is how so got toilet trained she gave all her diapers to her Auntie for the new baby. My Sister in Law is due Oct 1st. I hope she waits for me.

If someone can explain real easy how to get a pic into the computer, I will try to add one of the family

Door Magnets I am using the magnetic paper, and putting it in a plastic portector that you buy for your scrapbooking

Ingrid ~ I have been wondering two three things for months now ...
1- what happened to the original folks? Did we scare them away?
2- where are all the rest of the people? Still think there is a special group!!!
3- where did the Nap Police take Suzanne74? That was a bad thing!!!

Kim - Have seen LOTS of folks using the walkie-talkies ... Most feedback that I have heard from parents is GREAT... Kids get to feel "free" but parents generally know where they are at...

Okay ... well, time to do the laundry and such other mundane chores that follow after have been on the road too long ...

Chrystina and I arrive at WDW on the 20th - anyone else is going to WDW early? There is a GREAT dinner buffet at the Animal Kingdom Lodge!!! Just what we need ~ PRACTICE eating

First day of Kindergarten
Okay, for her I was all
But inside I was all , especially when I saw her all dressed up in her uniform, bow in her head and mary janes all spiffy. I swear I could hear the doctor calling her time of birth (10:22 a.m.) and her newborn face just seemed to flash.
She did great. Loved every minute.

I can't really put a vote in for the meet n greet cause we've never been on the ship before. We will be like a couple lost puppies following everyone around, asking for directions, until we get in the swing of things.

Mcentee: Don’t feel bad. Back in April I was a really good OCD planner, and well, now I’m not even sure where I put the passports. Probably somewhere safe so I would’nt lose them…and I lost them. One minute I can’t wait until it’s time to go, and the next minute I want the time to stand still cause I’m not ready yet!

Dennis: We will be at WDW on the 23rd. Just gonna go check out the Magic Kingdom. Never been to WDW, so I can’t be that close to it without at least checking it out for a day.

First day of kindergarten...I could cry right now. I'm thrilled she had a good day, and that you made it out without breaking down in front of her. Walking out of her classroom on her first day of school is a moment I'll never forget.

Just thought I would let you all know. I emailed my travel agent to see about maybe moving up in catagories and she said that all the catagories from 10-4 are booked - the only thing I could get would be a cat. 3! I just wanted to move up to something with a porthole! Oh well. Looks like it is going to be a full cruise!

They're very happy to share their work and anyone's welcome to put it on a shirt, pillow, etc. I just use it as my desktop on the computer

bpcard9- I can remember my dd's first day at kindergarden like it was yesterday.....now she's going into Middle School....doesn't want mom to drive and pick her up, wants to ride the bus (this is the only school she will be able to do that we live with-in 1 block of both elementary and highschools). I told her we would try it on a trial basis.......sigh.... They grow up soo fast. Cherish the moments they want to sit and talk, they don't come soo often as they get older......ohh I could cry right now

Thanks on the feedback dennis, I was hoping for just that. Give them some freedom (they are only allowed to travel alone as a pair, using the buddy system), but keep contact.

Ingrid you can follow us......can't promise where we will lead you though .

Yes, we are using walkie talkies on ship. We just purchased them. Hope they work well enough. I would like my kids to be able to check themselves out of lab, so I don't have to get out of my bathing spot on deck 10. So I want them to be able to chat with me while walking my way. We will test them out and see how they work. I'm crossing my fingers.

I am using thin magnetic paper for the door signs.

Julie- funny you checked on a room window also. I did also yesterday. We were thinking the same thing. On the disney site, I could get a category 4 or 5 and that was it! I couldn't believe how full it was! I guess there will be no upgrades coming my way. As I only wanted to pay for a Cat. 9, not a 4 or 5. We are just going to have to visit all the uppities like Ingrid suggested earlier! Scoot over uppitities. Get ready for an invasion of the lowlies. Maybe if they get looped enough from the pub crawl, we can just switch them rooms and they won't know the difference!

I'm not sure my vote on the meet and greet either since I've never been there. I've read other cruise meet threads. Some meet at the Promenade Lounge since it is air conditioned and then move outside as they see fit. Some meet on the secret deck 7. Some meet on deck 9 in the thick of things. And some meet on deck 10 above the crowd. Those of you who have cruised before need to make this decision!

Okay, Didi, be careful what you say about not being able to plan and get ready. You will give all these OCD planners a heart attack since they know you are in charge of the meet and greet party!
