Hey Jamie,
Up here in Canuck country, we have Thanksgiving in October..usually around the middle of the month. The prices would still be reasonable then as well though. However, very close to report card time as well.
We certainly haven't ruled out Disney altogether for another trip, but the main reason we picked Disney cruise was for the kid's club...and well, Channi hardly utilized the program anyways. And of course..Castaway Cay! ..which was the highlight of the cruise!
Last night I was looking through some pictures on the main board of people's Magic cruises, and Darren comes up and puts his hand on my shoulder and says "you are sure missing it, aren't you?" And then he says "we WILL go again!"

but when..WHEN? WHEN??!? (oops sorry for yelling...)

Thanks for all the well wishes for my Dad. He went home from the hospital today. He is pretty sore, and Mom was doping him with some darvaset when I talked to her at supper time.

To add to the vacation depression, here's my saga....Chad loaded all our digital photo's of the cruise on his laptop when we got home. I asked him to please load them on our home computer too, but he didn't get around to it. I got to view the photo's one time, and there were some real goodies in there. Well, you can guess what I'm just about to say, Chad's laptop crashed, the hard drive went out. We sent it to a recovery service, but they weren't able to salvage anything. All pics are lost! I know that Keri and Ethan took some of my kids, but there were several that I took of my kids with characters that I wanted to mount in their autograph books, and all my Castaway Cay pictures (sob, sob, sob,...) I'm trying not to whine about it too much, because Chad has also lost 5 years of financial records for our personal finances and for our family business which he is even more upset about. He thought he had found a backup copy that he made in April, but is was much older than that. He's really down in the dumps. He is going to try another recovery service company and see if they can do anything else, but I'm not really holding out much hope. I truly believe the only cure for this is to go on another cruise and take more vacation photo's! At least I did spend a horrendous amount of money in shutters, which I was feeling really badly about, but not now!
Well, gonna get the kiddos in bed early tonight so I can crash too! Erin

Erin - Glad your Dad made it home from the hospital. Hope he starts feeling good soon.

That is so AWFUL about your pictures! Those are just irreplaceable. I am so sad for you. Plus, the whole business records - I can see why he is very down right now. Oh, and I just remembered that super funny one of you and Chad up on the Capt. Mickey statue in front of Tritan's. He is pointing at someone in the distance and you are gazing out to see what he has spotted. It was so funny! If you want me to email any more pics to you, let me know.

Jamie - I will definitely figure something out where Bailey won't miss 5 days. They have days throughout the year where they are off for some crazy reason or another!

Well washer saga continues. Maytag claims "no manufactor defect" even though all of this model break and they nolonger even sell it....uuuggghhh...Guess thats there way of getting out of replacing the machines. They will pay $100 towards the cost to fix (yeah right, like I want to pay to fix the piece of junk). Or $150 toward the purchase of a new maytag washer of our choosing......probably leaning toward new washer hate to throw money into junk. SIGH.........

Its raining here too, high 50's I guess summer is over.....I'll just have to keep looking at my grandcayman pictures and dream.......

Going to scrapbook session friday night. Hope I get something accomplished, wow I better get organized fast

my joints are more accurate than the weather service.
I feel like the morning after even though I did'nt go anywhere last night.
I don't care where my hubby goes, as long as I don't have to go with him.
Many of my co-workers were born the year I graduated high school.
People call at 9 pm and asked if they woke me up.

Hi All,

Remember me? I've been in the deepest of funks so hence I haven't had the energy to get on line. Trying to get things wrapped up with the estate of Bill's parents. It's been a bit ugly.

Well the deck is back up and a fine frost is on it. Yup, New England at it's best. I've got a 10 AM soccer game, hopefully it will warm up to at least 40 degrees. I'll have to pack a thermo of hot coffee in order to warm my hands and toes.

I would have posted at 4:45 Am this morning but I had five pages of email to go through. I packed up my laptop around 10/9 and I just finally got it out again. I'll keep it on the kitchen table so that I can get up tomorrow morning and wish you all well.

You know even if I go on another cruise, I think that it won't be as special as the one we all went on. I miss you all, yup I'm a really mushy sap.

The rodent is still alive, I wouldn't call it a love thing between me and Peanut Butter but I wouldn't want it to be hurt. Man, that rodent can poop up a storm. I've got to clean the cage out today. Right, Patrick's resposiblity..... anyone want a rodent? It's cutie, it's furry and it poops!!!!! I'll give it away for free and pay for the shipping cost too. Opps, Patrick is coming in......we loovvve Peanut Butter.

Okay lovely ladies, does anyone out there know about Prada products? How about Vera Bradley? I guess, I failed at work since I don't buy top of the line brand names. Of course my dearest sister knew about them. Julie, do you know were we could go to get these items at a discount?

Anyways, I should go and get my second cup of coffee and feed the man cub prior to soccer. I'll be back on tonight. I promise.

Hi again,

Just got in from soccer. IT WAS SNOWING.... IT STILL IS SNOWING!!!!! I was not wearing my Kino's that's for sure!!! I had my ski jacket, ski hat and ski mittens on. My nose is frozen. It was not a warm Cast Away Cay experience. Where is my waiter? Where is the warmth and sunshine. My base tan is now an off white. I'm bundled up in a warm fuzzy turtle neck sweater. How things change.

Time to warm myself up by cleaning the house.
