The show was cute. Chantel enjoyed and had a couple belly laughs..which is worth the ticket prices right there. The theatre was really crowded, but since it's a rainy, cloudy day today, I think everyone thought the same thing as a good in-door activity. We live a couple miles from West Edmonton Mall. I'm not sure if anyone on here has heard of this mall, but at one time it was the biggest mall in the world. I don't think it is anymore though.

The Wedding. :flower3: Well, I don't have much part of planning in it. My daughter made sure of it, because she knows what I'm like when it comes to planning things. When she first announced the wedding, I had to sit on my hands and zip my mouth in order not to take the whole thing over! But I'm still around when she needs help, or has lots of work to do (like invitations). It's going to be the typical ceremony/reception/dance thing, and she has about 130 invitees. Which is nice..not too big, not too small. Her sister, Chantel is going to be flower girl, so Chantel is quite excited about this role. I would bring pictures to the cruise, but since the wedding is 4 days before our trip, I don't think I'll have any printed by then. I'll just be glad when it's done, and that the bride is happy! And then there will be another one to plan in about 15 years! It's quite an experience having children 17 years apart! :)

Howdy,

Dennis: We are at the late rotation.

b&j's_mom: We want to be near the rest of the group!!

Anybody want to practice cribbage online somewhere?

Off to the store...

David

Howdy everyone.

Sorry that we have an early rotation...sounds like we'll be missing the par-tay at the late seating!

I'm having trouble figuring out which night dh and I will try Palo's. I'd be happy to skip the Hercules show if it's still playing but, if it has been replaced with the new show, we won't go to Palo that night.

An early "Happy Father's Day" to all you Dads out there. Kick back and enjoy your special day!

Hercules is no longer playingon the Magic...it has been replaced with the new Cinderella show....

Dennis, I sent you a PM....

Have a great Fther's Day....

Dennis- Our group of 7 would also like to join you in the dining room. I guess I previously didn't make that clear. I will PM you the information tonight. I saw your reply to the thread on the main boards. So I know you have all the necessary information. Thanks for doing this! :)

Deanna :earsgirl:

Deanna - I can't believe I forgot your name on the list :guilty: - it's on the piece of paper sitting right next to my computer! We couldn't enjoy our late DIS dinner seating without our fellow Kansans with us! We Kansans tend to be the life of the party

Happy Father's Day to all of our DIS Dads! :)

p.s. getting ready to send you a p.m., Dennis!

To all you Dads ~ Happy Father's Day!!!

Having no kids of my own :Pinkbounc That I know of? :confused3 :sad2: I am off to go float tube fishing for rainbow trout with the "rented kid".

Dining Information flowing in so I will try to pull it together before Monday morning. I have some real work to do Monday (honestly!) so I'll just quick synchronize Barney's Brood at the same time... Unless someone told me they wanted to be seated together, I am going to let the seats fall so nobody is seperated from THEIR others. Chrystina  would probably take a dim view of me sitting at another table. :confused3 :rotfl:

Deanna - My apologies on the oversight... :earseek: Got you info ...

David - Rotation refers to the order of restaurants not early or late seating.
APL = Animator's, Parrot Cay, Luminere's - So you could be at late sitting but in a different restaurant altogether. You can: a) Call yourself and get the correct rotation or b) Let this Old New England Yankee do it. Let me know...

David ~ where do you play cribbage on-line? What name? Can meet and play a little later this week ...

Meanwhile ... Had a NON-fishing day. Went to see "Batman Begins" today. Great fun!!! :earboy2:

Dennis

Happy Father's Day to all the father's out there.

Dennis- thanks for letting me join in the fun. :flower:

Here is the information that Capt. Marvin's office sent me. I had requested to see if we could book some of the DIS group on the same boat. Let me know if anyone is interested of going as a group. Here is their reply.......
Hi Deanna,
Not a problem at all. As long as you are all reserved on the same excursion, and we know ahead of time to keep your groups together we can put you all on one boat. We have several different sized boats with capacities of 24 people up to 45 people, depending on which of our boats are scheduled for each tour.
Just let us know if you would like to do that and we'd be happy to schedule your groups together, in case we will be using more than one boat for the trip that morning.
Thank you!

Shirlene for Capt Marvin's

Previously in this discussion group someone had mentioned they were going on the three hour excursion with Capt. Marvins. I had signed up for the 2.5 hour excursion. But noted if we wanted to go together, I would move to the three hour excursion. If we decided to do this as a group, then we would probably do the three hour excursion at 10 a.m. I think some of you already have this booked.

I would like to hear from some of you that just went through Disney. Was your experience good?

The following has been taken from their website.

Short Excursion (approx. 2.5 hours):

11:15 AM to 1:15 PM, or

Half-day Excursion: 10 AM to 1 PM, or 2 PM to 5 PM, seven days a week (Check in by 9:15 AM or by 1:15 PM)

Howdy,

I booked a 3hr at 10AM & I think it was KCATOIR that was booked then as well.

Your welcome to come along as well... gee, sounds like I own the boat or something.

Gotta go to bed.

Oh, by the way... Is it time to go yet?

C'ya...

Just another day of Rainbow Trout & Konakee!!!
Working too hard! :rotfl2:

Have received Info for Dining Reservations from five groups ... :grouphug:
Looks like three large (8) tables so far. Will take care of it in the morning. If others want to join in, I am assuming that we can call back again ~ Tx Dis Fan? Kb1esx? I can send you my info & you can link back to us if better.

Need to go get a pie out of the oven :rolleyes1
Yes Ladies ~ I do dishes & vacuum too!!! :rotfl:

Dennis

Dennis,

I'm assuming that you will be sharing this pie with all of us, right--lol :)

I'm happy to report that my cruise is PAID IN FULL!!!!!!
WOOOHOOOO!!!!

Life is good....

Happy Sunday everyone :)

OK, counter says 94 days...can't wait to do our bookings in just 4 days. :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Wonder if they start booking at midnight?

:cool1: OK Guys :cool1:

This just might have been too easy!!! :teeth: Just spoke with the Dining Coordinator - Debbie Wargo. All reservations numbers were successfully linked together. :grouphug: All reservation numbers are linked to mine - SO I guess if it goes belly-up, it is ALL mea culpa. APL Rotations has been requested but NOT guranteed. :confused3 Indicated it should be okay because we are an early request. As I do in most synchronization efforts that I work on, I will call back in about a week and "confirm" something ... just to be sure. BUT, as it is, it looks like a go. If we somehow get groups split (EX:CujoBugs) at different tables, we should be able to move ourselves around ... :grouphug:

Any questions or concerns??? :rolleyes1

Dennis

I need to go ahead and pay off our cruise today so I'll be ready to book when we are able.

I too wonder if Midnight is the magical hour? Anybody else know?

OK, I'm confused...

If I don't count today, there are 10 days left in June. 31 in July, 31 in August and, if I don't count sail date, 23 in September. That adds up to 95 days until we sail. BUT, for pre-booking purposes, do you think we count today and/or the sail date. I'm not sure when we are allowed to start booking online...This Friday, Saturday or Sunday? I'm going to look for a thread...
