Sept. 23, 2012 Pacific Coast - Wonder Cruise

Oh my little one LOVES the boys ;)

If she likes playing superheroes, pirates and Jedi, we're all set :) Connor does enjoy the occasional tea party but usually Bizarro/Darth Maul/Captain Hook show up and ruin everything. You know how those bad guys can be.

May have to take him down to DLR next week if it cools off a little - last week when we were obligated to go (family in town) and it was 105 I almost died. I typically try and stay away from June-end of Sept but now I have an excuse - he needs to go to Pieces of Eight for the latest in Haute Pirate Cruisewear.

Did anyone else get their cruise docs in then mail today?? We did!! Yay! Getting so close. Now all I need is a room assignment. :)

Finally went back and read all the 60+ pages and saw this... I know 3yo boys and girls are starting to play a little differently but can't hurt to try. Hard to tell how many other people have 3-4 year-olds in our group but I love the idea of them forming a little Club Posse.

I think are a few 3/4 year olds in this group, our DD is 3 and likes playing with boys and girls (although today she told me she doesnt like boys), I too hope they form a posse.

Just went to the mailbox and no cruise docs:confused:, will be on the look out.

Our DD will be 3 by the time the cruise gets here. She plays with both boys and girls too!

Seems like a lot of people are taking this cruise sans kiddos, which should make it easier for ours to swim, etc.

btw, I just had this image of a bunch of our 3/4-year-olds walking in slo-mo into the Kids Club like in "The Right Stuff."

Ha ha ha ha!!! I can totally picture that!!

Thanks everyone for the Mexican food tips (JSG - sounds like that meet & eat could be a plan). DH is getting excited about eating 'real Mexican' instead of 'NZ Mexican', if that makes any sense. I'd like to try Creole cuisine, I've never had that before.

All we now have to work out is how hot Indian food is in SoCal (we love Indian). As Rich is from Central UK with a huge Indian population he's used to 'UK Hot', which is beyond any heat we have in Indian food in NZ - so we'll have to trail and error that one I guess. :rotfl2:

I have two nearly five year old boys. They've play with girls and boys and have friends from three up to about seven. They'll sound a bit different tho'...

I've been reviewing our US plans today and I'm worried we are stacking too much on the kids in terms of activities. I'm hoping that the rental car will provide nap time after lunch between destinations.

Oh we've not got cruise docs yet, they seem to send them surface mail to NZ - so we'll have them by the time we disembark.

We have not gotten our documents yet but did get our room assignments with an upgrade so I will take that instead!

I will have a 6 and 8 year old in the kids club and an almost 3 year who will be very lonely and pissed off in the nursery!

Nope, no documents yesterday. I've got my finger's crossed for today :thumbsup2

My DH is taking the kids to a local car show tonight so I'm going to do a big push on my FE gifts. I want to get them all done before the kids go back to school.

Is it wrong that I'm about to buy a Silhouette Cameo just to make FE gifts? Someone stop me.
