Well I finally just booked for September 17th. We need some kind of discount and I was afraid of waiting and there not being anything else. We did 2 rooms at pop one with the kids free and one with the room discoun. I hope free dining comes available though!

I would call disney about the dining. I do know it depends on other discounts. But if I were you I would call.

Got this in the Disney Food Blog Newsletter today:

2011 Free Dining Now Available in August/September
For those traveling August 28th-September 24th, 2011, a Free Dining package is now available! Visa Cardholders are able to book at the moment, but the package should be opened up to the general public on May 2nd, 2011.

You must book by August 27th, 2011. Those staying in Value Resorts will receive the Quick Service Dining Plan for free. Those staying in all other Disney Resorts will receive the Regular Dining Plan for free.




Our vacation is scheduled for Sept 20-29. Does anyone know if I can use the free dining since my vacation starts before the cutoff date? Or does my entire trip need to fall in that date range? I can't reschedule at this point.

As long as you check in before the 24th (which you are) you will receive free dining fir the entire stay (up to 14 days).

Subbing. Really hoping for a room discount offer for the end of September -my sister and I are looking to do a trip, with one kiddo each, from 9/28-10/2. She really wants to stay at the Poly, but we can't swing it without a code! Also hoping we can get the 40% at the Poly - it seems like the last few codes gave a lower % to the Poly

Thanks for posting this info! We've been looking at going the first wk of Sept. and have been waiting (praying!) for a PIN. Booked BC for 6 nts. last yr in Sept. w/a 40% PIN and added the dining plan. Not sure what % discount this current offer is (usually it's 30%), but pricing out the same package that we did last year, it comes out to the same rate (even a bit less)! Not sure how that happened, but I booked it! Overall, pricing it this way, the package is costing us $540 less than booking the Free Dining deal! Guess we won't be needing the PIN # now after all...

We booked our trip for Sept 10th through the 17th with free dining. We had a value resort but after they took off what we had paid for dining, we got an upgrade to pofq and got back $200. So excited! It's my daughters first trip and she can't wait to look for hidden mickey's!

add me to the list! booked back in march with kids stay and play free promotion. We are staying at ASMusice Spet 14-20th. grandma and grandpa will be joining us 17th-20th

i keep doing the math with new discounts that come up and the kids stay and play free seems to be the best promo for us. we dont have the dining plan because it would have been $500 more do add it, and we just arn't big eaters and i have medical issues and will be packing alot of my own snacks and lunches anyways

Is this thread still running? I can't seem to find a discount code thread for Sept 2011. We will be there sept 27-Oct 5th. Last year we got a free dining pin the 3rd thursday of July (so in comparison, that will make it tomorrow...) I am hoping.

We are venturing away from ASmo and will be staying at Coronado. Super excited because it's our 7th anniversary and I turn 30 the end of October so I am ready to celebrate!! We do have a very decent deal right now. I don't understand what we have. I had the ASmo booked with the kids stay free deal. Called to switch to Coronado. She said she was able to find me a flex deal, they are rare but one came up so that is what I booked. After crunching some numbers, it's is equivalent to free QS DP for us 4. So the only deal better will be DP free (which is what we have booked)

We received a PIN a few months back...for DisneyLand. We are about as far away from California as you can get in N. America (dont quote me on my geography here). I got so excited to get a Disney Destinations email, and boo! Not at all aplicable to us.

I am still holding my breath to get one tomorrow. The exact same time I got one last year. What are the chances?

We will be there Sept 14-18 at AKL. Rented DVC points for a Savannah view and added DELUXE DINING! The price was a steal--over what I would have paid booking through the WDW site online.

Celebrating our boys birthdays on the 14th and 17th. Be sure to look for us at Sanaa and Chef Mickey's!

Also will be attending MNSSHP...if you've never been, it is well worth the trip and money. I love it! Already ordered my Alice in Wonderland costume!

We're also going those same dates. We'll be staying at ASMo. It would be our first time using a dining plan if FD is extended.
