sept 2010 PTR- -- because this is how we roll to disney:)

We all know how busy real life gets sometime and gets in the way of our DIS time. I've been swamped at work the last two weeks myself. And during that time we decided since we didn't have to pay taxes this year that we could afford Disney for four nights before we go to Marco Island. But it looks as if we will miss you guys....we arrive late the night of the 17th. (:

i know!! Life can be soo crazy sometimes! Thats great that you decided you are going to take a short trip and stay at coronado:) I am so excited to try this resort this year!!! what is your favorite section to stay in at Coronado? its looks like a beautiful resort:)

Wow- I missed a whole week on your PTR! So sorry to hear about your eye infection- I hope that cleared up without any extra problems! Good luck with the anxiety meds, I'm sure they'll make a bif difference

We ate at Sci-Fi last year. I can't remember what I ate for an entree, but I do remember eating their onion rings- they were yummy. I guess the reason I can't remember what I had to eat is the fact that we had quite a few drinks  I had a Lunar Landing (Amaretto, peach schnapps and OJ) was sooooooo good and I also had a few sips of The Comet (rum, vodka, gin, tequila and cranberry juice) which my sister had ordered. I really wanted to try the Orbiting Oreo (oreo shake w/ Godiva) but I knew I couldn't finish that too fast without getting an ice-cream headache, so our waiter suggested getting it TO GO!!! That was awesome :cloud9: We got a few cool pictures at Sci-Fi since it is so dark inside the glow lights in our drinks made our pictures look really neat.

Hey Desiree . I'm sorry I have been MIA too. We have been really busy at work and I have been picking up extra shifts and I just can't seem to catch up on my Dising :sad2:. Your plans are coming along good :thumbsup2. I think we may try to catch Fantasmic this trip because it has been at least 6 years since we last saw it. We are not so much the show type people so it doesn't really bother us if we miss them.

JMO, but I think you are doing the right thing seeing a therapist. When my doctor diagnoses me with ADHD, he asked me if I wanted meds and I had to think about it. I wasn't sure if I wanted to be on meds all the time, but now I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO glad I am on them. I feel like a new person. I don't get nearly as moody as I use to, and the Adderall has actually helped with all the crazy things running around in my head all the time. I too was so stressed and anxious all the time, but now I am doing much better because I can sort out my thoughts a lot easier. Keep me updated about your progress, I will be thinking about you .

Dana I am so sorry work has been so crazy for you:( I can totally relate to work craziness!!! thanks for your kind words about therapy and the meds:) I am waiting for my assigned therapist to call me back and make a appointment. You know about what i have been through the last few months and its making me very anxious and its hard to sleep, my mind won't turn off! Its not a good feeling at all:( I am so glad that the meds helped you and i am hoping they will make me feel normal again:) I will keep you updated on the progress for sure!! I wish my trip was coming up in a month but i still have almost 5 months:( but it will be well worth it! The only show i have to see is wishes-- other than that i can give or take the shows also-- so we will see what happens with going to see fantasmic. I still cannot believe you are down to days before your trip!! It seems like you just got back from your oct trip! oh how time flies!!!

wow we are getting pounded with massive servere thunderstorm right now-- that could produce damaging winds, hail and tornadoes:scared1: i keep looking out the window incase i see a funnel cloud and i will take cover LOL i will have to make sure to grab the doggies in the process:lmao: poor doggies don't like this weather at all!!!

So I always seem to have a disney idea brewing in my head LOL -- so now i am trying to get people together to go on a trip in Dec-- possibly staying at AKL with rents DVC points! I crunched some of the numbers and with 2 people in a room it will be cheap! With 4 people it will be dirt cheap!! I have to get myself there in Dec!! I just have to go LOL I want to see the decorations soo bad!!! I don't even care at this point if its my christmas present LOL i think i am going to try to go dec 12th-16th-- if i can find people to go with me-- anyone want to come to disney? :lmao:

Okay now to my last day plans sooo very sad:( i think on Sept 17th our last day at the park we are going to start with Epcot--- we will get there about 9-- and finsih up anything we want to finish up-- and leave there around noon and head over to Magic Kingdom -- we have to hit POTC again:) maybe a few times!! and my mom loves the dumbo ride-- so i am sure we will hit that and most of fantasy land, and the haunted mansion, so we will be trying to get a lot done! Then i might steal a plan from Princess allegra-- called drinking around the monorail! I will have to end the last night with a bang:) we will go around the monorail and get a drink at each place or split a drink with my mom-- then we will head to Kona for our dinner:) I want to spend some time at the poly-- and walk along the poly beach and get pics its such a beautiful resort!! Wish i could find a way to afford to stay there sometime :lmao: after that we will maybe head to downtown disney one last time--- and then back to the resort and pack:( we have a very late evening flight home on the 18th so we might still get to go back to MK one last time!!

next up will be departure day plans-- and what i plan to eat at each resort! i dont have any healthy tips today-- but i am doing some cooking this week so stay tuned for some healthy food tips:)

I hope everyone is having a nice weekend! I still have to do my treadmill today, some chores. I had all my grocery shopping done so early today and even went to the flea market:) maybe i will do another update soon:)

Reading through your list of meal choices gave me a little rumbly in my tumbly :lmao: that all sounds so good! Everything except for the cheese steak. When you live in the Philly area it is sacrilege to get a cheese steak anywhere outside the Delaware Valley- they just don't make them right anywhere else in the country!!:rotfl:

I have always wanted to go to Disney to see it decorated for Christmas :santa: but working in a school system is has never been possible. Now that I'm faced with the possibility of not having a job next winter I'll have the free time, but not the money- ARGH!! I'll be so jealous if you book that trip!

mmm!! I never had a philly cheesesteak!! I am sure they are amazing!! maybe next time i go to wildwood NJ I will have to make a stop for one:) I want to see all of the decorations so bad!!! I am going to try for a baby soon and not sure if i will make it to disney next year-- so if i can get in two trips that will hold me over:) I will make sure the trip is very cheap with renting points! I will go myself if i have too:lmao:

what kind of scale does everyone own? This is going to sound nutts but i have no idea how much i weigh LOL!! I know that with using my treadmill everyday and counting my points is seems like the weight is just burning of lately-- but i am afraid to weigh myself:scared1: a little background as to why: From 9th grade till i was a junior in college I suffered with a on and off eating disorder-- and then when i finally starting eating again my body wasn't used to eating and I gained the weight-- now that i lost it again i am just going with how my clothes fit--- but i want to weight myself but i don't want to freak myself out-- or get crazy obessed-- so i want to get a good scale that measures body fat-- along with weight-- then maybe i will get even more motivated! Since i finally have it al together:) let me know what kind of scale you have and how you like it:)

You have got some great dining choices. We've been to several of them and are going to a few of them this trip (Crystal Palace, Plaza and Kona...although we are doing breakfast at Kona, not dinner).

I am going to try to maybe fit in a breakfast-- i want to try this delicious tonga toast everyone talks about:) I am thinking maybe the last day we are in disney because we have a flight that leaves late at night so that might be a good day to have a breakfast before we leave!

Things are going well for me. Nothing too exciting. I'm glad you're going to see a therapist, I hope they help. I can't imagine being anxious all the time, I hate it when I feel it at all. I hope it all works out and you feel like your regular self again. Yes I wish I had a ton of money as well, there's so many things at disney that I would love to do! All of your food choices sound delicious!! I wish I could come on your december trip with you! But my job won't let me take vacation time then. :sad1: You definitely must go though!
