Hello fellow September travelers!

I was not able to find any threads on the theme park board about this, so I thought that this might be a good place to post.

My husband and I woud love to go on an Illuminations cruise and are looking for others to share the cost and the experience with. Does anyone have two spaces on their booked cruise or would anyone else like to go in on a cruise with us?

Hi everyone !!!
We will also be going to Disney in Sept for 2 weeks we are taking my 3 year old daughter. We will be staying at Wyndham Bonnet Creek this will be our first time staying at Bonnet Creek. We usually stay on site but we recently bought into Wyndham timeshare so we decided to try Bonnet Creek. I hope we won't be disappointed.

I am 95% sure that we will be cancelling our upcoming trip. My DS's are starting a new school and I can't justify taking them out of school for 4 days. I am sooooo sad. We really wanted to see MNSSHP. Halloween is a favorite of ours. My ressie is a room-only so I'll hang onto it for just a bit longer though. Just because...

My first ever trip to WDW is just 46 days away!!!

I'm going with The Boyfriend (who hasn't been to WDW in 10 years!) and we're staying at ASMu!

And I'm driving everyone I know crazy because it's all I ever talk about!

August is going to be a rough month!

Well, I'm just 34 days out til we leave for SSR. We will be there Sept 3-8. I've seen posts where is was cold last November... I took my parents in November (the 2nd week) and it was 89 degrees the whole week we were there. I wanted a little cooler weather for the folks so that we didn't melt when we were touring WS at Epcot... BUT we made the best of it and after all, we were at DISNEY
But my friend hasn't ever been so I wanted a little bit of heat this year for the water parks. Hopefully, even if it's hot, the lines won't be too long. Less time in the heat and more time on the rides

I've been reading reports of cancelled trips for months, and sadly I "get" to post that we cancelled our trip yesterday. The state of Georgia ordered a 3 day teacher furlough, which we dealt with, but I just found out that I am not getting a hefty supplement I earned until next June. (we usually get it monthly). When the fun money is gone...the fun goes too...or at least gets scaled back dramatically. Time to pocket the extra and plan for next year.

At least we both still have jobs and ironically, I received 4 orders from my online business the day after we cancelled! Oh well. We are dreaming of 2010. Have fun everyone. We'll be thinking of you!

Did I do my math right? You'll be arriving Sept. 14th? My arrival date is the 15th and I'll be at the WL-Vacation Villas? Your first trip? You'll have a ball! My trip is a "last minute" decision ... purchased my airline tickets a couple of weeks ago so August won't be long enough for me! Long story ... been a really hard year for our family and we all need to "get away". Oldest DD had her family's trip booked for a year and I was pretty upset that I wouldn't be going with them. Then youngest DD (who lost her husband this past March) and hubby decided they wanted to go to Washington, DC. I won't get into politics on Disboards but I just couldn't bring myself to visit DC at this point and time. So ... it was decided that Mom needed a vacation too and a room was booked at the Villas for me! I'm excited as I can be but have so much to plan and do before September. Really looking forward to being back at WDW ... I tend to forget my problems when I'm there and I really, really need to FORGET for a short time! Enjoy the Magic ... it will be a time you'll never forget!

5 WEEKS FROM TODAY! Eight nights in a two bedroom villa at VWL as a guest of my friends! Dining at Kona/50's Prime Time/Boma/Tuscar House/Citrico's/Coral Reef/Grand Floridian Cafe.

Life is GOOD!




oh....and when we leave on Saturda 9/12....we get on the Disney Magic for a seven day cruise to the Virgin Islands and all my siblings are joining me.

Life is SWEET!

I've been through a moderately unfortunate (just a period of "darnit, that STINKS" over and over and over, rather than anything truly terrible) period recently and convinced my dearest friend that we needed to go to Disney. I confess, I was ready to go solo if she was having none of it! Anyway, I empathize in a way with you and YAY for our trips!!

........so you'll be there during the same week. Right? (Since it's 2 AM my math is really fuzzy!!!) I agree, YAY for our trips and really wish my dearest friend was coming with me too. We lived "right down the street" from one another for 15 years and she recently had to move almost 2 hours away when she changed jobs .. Just another thing that added to my "bad" year. I'll be enjoying my granddaughters and a little "me" time. Can't wait for that massage and day of shopping! Where are you staying? I'm excited about getting back to WL again...it's my second favorite place next to the Poly. Hope you guys have a great time.

Good Morning Everyone,
We are going 9/24-10/4 and staying at WL. This will be DD 5 3rd trip and DS 2's first trip. We are going with another couple who have 2 girls age 5 and 4. This is their first trip. We talked them into going and the FW was the closer.
