Same here! Only we can get one about a week or so before Halloween - it is not as hot here as where you are...not even close! At leasrt we do have 4 seasons here - with a short winter. Nowe, if only this place had public transportation and I knew someone - anyone!!

Boy, I am with you about the summer heat and free dining! As much as I'd like to go, would rather enjoy WDW early December or even Jan or Feb. Want to join me We can knock on each other's doors and rave about the mild weather..then meander about the parks, remarking on the lovely humidity free weather.

I did sign up on this website: SnagaJob - and have received notices of openings for fast food restaurants...but I am too old for that work!! Hey, I'm young at heart, but not that young. Hallmark could be fun! Holiday music, lots of fun "stuff" to buy.

I love sticky toffee pudding!! Hagen Daaz has a sticky toffee pudding ice cream that is to die for!! Have either of you tried it? The flavor was actually a contest winner they showed on the Food Network. It is SO YUMMY.

Would you people please hush about all the food? I have to weigh in tomorrow and am a few ounces away from being even to where I was before DW. Since at one time I was up 9 pounds it is not so bad but I must not eat, or drink, today to make my goal and you are making it very difficult.

Now that is what I call "Pretty People Food'. Lots of style, little substance. Must be why they are so darned skinny! The Rose and Crown version is kind of ugly but lots of substance. I nearly ate the entire thing too.

The CC kids came by my house after I read to them this morning to sing a welcome to Fall song. I love the location of my house. it is between the CC and the library. I promised them cookies. Bribery, works every time.

I were right and my sil won out. Grandson did not get home until nearly 2 am the other day. DD is steamed. I wish her luck. Like the good mil I am I am staying out of it, although between you guys and myself I agree with DD. Could be so much worse. Hope grandson survives. If not I will make him pay the price when he ends up on my magic couch. I will put the remote out of reach, I will!

trying to catch up, made it to pg 5. Timmy, still no sleep but don't feel like a repeat of my WDW remedy Gar will be happy to share his fanning abilities. If nothing else I've got pretty thoughtful kids. You might have to fight DS#2 for the grapes though.
I am sure I'll change my dates, I really want to stay in that value season. I will push as far back as poss.
Who got in on the free dining in Dec? I tried to make it work but by the time I decided, all reasonable air fares were gone Hoping now for something in late Jan/early Feb as sure I will need a reprieve from our glorious weather.

Bonz,
I miss you. Have you ever tried melatonin for sleep. It is in the vitamin isle at the store. It is natural and works when I need to get back on schedule sleeping. Actually I need to start taking it again since I am not on a good sleep pattern myself.

Let me know when you choose dates and resort for sure. I wish I could go for Dec free dining and am hoping maybe next year.
