Hi ya Wic! I am hanging in there. No better, no worse. It is just wearing to wait until they get it all figured out and fix me up. I am soooo ready for that. I am sick and tired of being sick and tired.

M2E, that was Evie in the white robe I am guessing? Looks like a good time was had by all. Thanks for sharing. I am one of those strange folks who enjoy seeing other folks kids/grandkids as well as my own. Is a major part of what I love DW.

Hi Timmie, sorry I was missing in action when you needed some advice. Electrical is one thing I do not mess with. I can change an outlet plug or switch and such but do not like to mess with possibly burning the house down, with me in it. Buying a new fridge makes the most sense and believe it or not you will save big bucks if you buy an Energy Star appliance. Whirlpool and Amana are the Consumer Reports top picks, I think. Please check it out for yourself and save yourself much unneeded pain later on. I am glad it did not happen while you were away as it could have been so much worse. I turn off my water main when I leave and pray that the freezer does not stop working while I am gone.

Diva K, how about sending some of that heat here and I will send you some of our cold. It is going to freeze here this week, if it has not already. WTG to your ds for winning his game! It really gets your heart to pumping when rooting for our loved ones, helps to keep us warm too!

WIC., the temps at DW in November is usually perfect. You might want to take a jacket just in case though. I love it then. My favorite time, that and spring and fall with the concerts. Maybe next year? BTW, have you ever seen ICE at the Gaylord Palms? It is on my 'to do' list.

And !!! the boss is going to WDW on Nov 15 to 21st... and they are staying at the SSR grand villa... very tempted... he said his daughter and son in law canceled on them and have 1 room empty!!! And offered to take me to tag along !!!!ok... fridge... or air fare... fridge or air fare... Wic.... are you doing studio or 1 bedroom at SSR ???

I know I know I should not be even contempating about this...but a free room ????!!!!! all I need is my refillable mug!!!!

Ok.. going to take a and will have to give him my answer by Wednesday... even his son had called work already ( he is 7) asking if we are going to ride TOT together he is only doing it if I am going.. this will be his 1st time !!!!

Jan, I am glad to add to your already full agenda. Let me know what you think as it is on my plans for next year. From what I understand it is easy to drive to also. Always a winner for me. Some of the restaurants look interesting. You can check their website for more info.

Ants, Lucy just got back from visiting her dad. He is out of the hospital but on a feeding tube, not a good prognosis. I hope you can make that trip. Sounds like a winner. Just how much vacation time do you get?

When going to the CP just sit on the flowerbed toward the Mexico side of the WS and wait until the rope drop. You saunter in without standing in line and the back seats, not behind trees, are the best anyway.

Watching the Santas at the WS is a fun way to spend a few hours as well. I have videotaped several of them for my collection.

Christmas is a special time at DW. Wish I were going this year.

Kathy!!! I have been doing ADRS for my manager everytime they ( yeah he is really my son that Alice gave birth too and I am just lending him to them well honestly Jason was an accident... I met Alice my manager's wife when she just found out about Jay-Son ~ my nick at work is Jay so he is my son ~ was the 1st one to see jay-Son and have been baby sitting since )... and Jay-son think I am the coolest because he gets postcards from the Mouse and gifts that Tinkerbell leaves by his bedside on bday!!! Sooooo Anywho... I was complaining last night how I am CDD ~ clinically depressed for disney ~ while we were discussing his plot on how to surprised family about Bay Lake Tower DVC add on points... ~ we came up with dinner at the wave.. balloons... cake.... etc... ok going back to my story.... after mentioning I am so jealous they are going... he then sprang the question... how more days you have in your bank... I said I have 3 weeks left... not including sick time... then we ask if one of our part timers are back... which she was... then he said why dont you check if she can work for you in November... I said I am not going to WDW in Nov. since I do have alot of budget adjusting to do... "You have an AP... all you need is an airfare" was his next comment... I was only to find out his daughter cant go and the dh because of work!!!

~ do I want to sleep with the manager ?? I mean we are all good friends and all... but sleeping with the whole family is a bit esp'ly if works finds out...

~ really need new fridge.. and camera... and mom is coming in Dec. there's the budget situation...

~ but I really want to go and love love love to hang out with Jay-Son which I know why they are also interested in taking me a free nanny for the week which I really dont mind... with free lodging that is awesome.. free room and the bestest buddy in town...

Whew... so that is the summary of the story Kathy if ever I do it... I will be leaving PHL on the 15th Saturday.... grab my car hit MK... they arrive Saturday at 2PM and we'll just meet at SSR let them check in and I have an ADR with Onaha at 7:45PM ... then they are staying till 21 or 23.. but I am flying out on early flight 19th which gets me to work that day or late night 18th... and I end up only using 3 days off since I am off that weekend

Ohhh I hope we are neighbors!!!!


Ok.. back to contemplating.... should I go.. should I not...

MS Linda.. after mitching and whining at HR they finally let me carry over my vaca from my old post... I get 6 weeks and 2 weeks sick time... when I am sick I recoup at WDW

Ants, I thought my husband had a lot of vacation time but you really take the cake. I have a sister who makes do with loads of three day weekends and has recently retired and is daydreaming about long, extremely long vacations. I hope your upcoming trip goes well, I do not think I would be up for all that, almost free trip or not.

I am so sorry to hear about BIL's father. I am glad they at least got the short time they did to say goodbye although I am sure it was a very stressful time too.

Congratulations on the new baby girl. Does that make you a grandma?

Sorry to also hear about canceling your trip. My root canal is what kept me from going at Christmas too. Just paid out 804.00 for the root canal today and owe another 189.00 Thursday for the post. Then there is the crown to pay for. All I can say is it better last till I die althought I doubt that will happen. Too bad a root canal is not fun like the trip to Disney would be for the same cost.

As for the mentalpause, the only thing I am looking forward to is not being cold all the time unless I am walking the parks at Disney in August/September. I am sure DH will like that part too since I am always turning off the AC on him when he's not looking. Do you ever feel like you will internally combust when you get hot flashes? If so I might not like that. I do dread the possiblity of always being annoyed by every thing like my mother was during menopause though. Sometimes I thought her head would pop she would get so mad at the little things. I do not want to be that way. I do hope the doctors can help you sleep and such soon. If you need to talk you have my number.

aarrgghhh that is why I dont think I will renew my up next year.... having an AP is bad thing...

I cannot complain vacation wise.... I did 2x 10 day trips and 5x 3 day weekends at the World and still have some left to play with... enough for another 9 day in December... its just the budget that needed to be worked on... if I dont work at my part time job then its no Disney for me.. which means some of those weekends will be working... a vicious cycle...

Sorry to hear about the aggrevation. You are one up on my mother who refused to even admit she was going through mentalpause let alone asking for help for it. If it makes you feel less alone there are those times my son makes me so aggrevated I need to walk away from him for fear that my head will spin. I blame it on peri mentalpause. I think I need to send you the pics me and Timmy talked about. Pull those suckers out of your pocket when aggrevated and it is guaranteed to give a chuckle.

My 08 started out awful as well with my brother's passing and some other issues. What helps me is trying to deal with each day as it comes and try to keep my thoughts on the now and when it gets stuck in the past I try and catch myself. Well, unless it is the good memories like having fun at Disney with all my Dis friends those are worth thinking about.

and for now.. I need to make a copy and send them to Bonnie!!! So she can have an Angel watching over her.. Bonnie when you get it place it in the bathroom... everytime you feel $hiffy just go in the bath room and look at it
