up early... got so many chores to do and it is only Wednesday!!! Wake up Pop Tarts !! Not bad today just a high of 70 thank you God!!! so far had not turned the AC yet since I tried to go green electric usage wise.... my bill had gone done to almost 35%

TB I totally got cable cut... no more cable and to think I only have the basic cable... never turn the tv much anyways... only to watch rented movie or borrowed from the library but I think I need to start saving for a new PC... mine is on its last leg and FB is not being nice to it...

Ok... coffee is done... wash stopped...

SG--Did your bil and sister head out yet? Will he be okay to travel with his back? LOL about the emailing each other from a foot apart--we call my dd on the phone when she's in her room in the basement just to bug her. I guess it's back to gardening for you now!

Ants--Thanks for the updates on Ang, and hope she and Will are having a blast (though I'm sure they are). We've only had to turn on the AC a couple of times, including yesterday when MIL came over for dinner and starting complaining about how hot it was in the house. I wanted to ask her, "do you want to pay our electric bill?" but have learned that it's in my best interest to bite my tongue when she's around. I feel for you on the computer woes--ours is getting old and cranky, too (much like my MIL). JK--I'm at least as cranky as she is most of the time, though slightly younger.

Kris--Speaking of computer woes, glad yours are over, at least for now. Have fun with your mom's visit! So jealous that school is almost out for you and JM. We still have 13 more days, but we also start later, giving us more time to take advantage of free dining, so it all evens out.

JM--Oy, I don't envy you your vacation scheduling issues. Why can't everyone just understand that Disney comes first? Life would be so much easier. Have fun with Cheryl and her dh at dinner--wish we could be there with you.

Kris, same here. Why are they in school this week? Grades were cut off Friday, they actually give out the report cards tomorrow before sending them home before Noon. TX mailed them to us, or at least San Angelo did. Seems like it would cut down a lot of costs to skip this week. Of course I know they are required by federal law to keep the kids so many days, but 4 days wasted. Sorry, got on my soap box.

Jen ( still cant get the hang of calling you Tb it reminds me iof my annual PPD ) talked to ANG... late morning for them too.. they just got up and called and woke me up and they even have the nerve to cancel Le Celler for lunch...

Have some coffee ... it helps my crankiness to go away...

And yesterday I got an email from one of the Lab in Orlando.. one of the managers emailed/inquired if I have an interest to move to Fl and work there I am just thankful that 5-10 years ago the kids who are graduating gave a thought on playing with poop and pee that now we are almost trailing behind shortage of nurses even though we have seen a lay off for Nurses for the 1st time !!!

M&N, you know I will drive over to WDW if I can. I'd love to hang out with you. I just got the 40% discount also.

My boy is now a 5th grader. So glad he passed. He is very excited. Even talked about how this is our first Summer in Florida.

I'm still sick, so I didn't get to meet Ang, Will, and Timmy today. I think DH realized I really was sick since I refused a trip to WDW. I hate feeling like this.

I spent yesterday arranging and redoing our July trip plans. My stepdaughter Kara will fly in on the 8th. Her, Jacob, and I will have to entertain ourselves on the 9th and 10th since DH has to work. We will probably go to Busch Gardens that weekend. Got to use the four free passes they offer to the military. On the 14th we head to those other parks in Orlando. I'm really excited, we have never been and we will be staying onsite. Saved $100 a night on the rooms since we are Florida residents. On the 16th we check into POR. I cancelled the SoG reservation and got POR at $109 a night/$119 on the weekend. SoG was going to be $125 plus parking fees. I can't wait. Kara will leave us on the 17th. I'm going to miss her at WDW, but this was her choice. So, I am not looking at what we are spending that week, but only what we saved.

I'm sorry you are still sick - yuck. Lots of dust that you'll be feeling much better very soon.

You sure had to do some re-arranging for the July trip - sounds you like have things taken care of...it is too bad Kara will not be able to go to Disney with you all.

Boy, the pin code was a surprise. For many years I was constantly getting codes by mail, but we only went in the summer (and a long winter weekend), when the kids were young, and after they grew up and no longer went, I went with my Godson and we never even considered another time. Funny - we were programed for July or August due to school.

Then around 2002 I began to receive pin codes by mail and then email - one after another. Never took a trip from 2002 through 2006 without a nice pin code..then nothing...nothing at all until the $500 gift card one a few months back - which was not really so great because it was a pkg and at rack rate... Just cannot bring myself to pay rack after all the years of discounts.

So, when I saw this one today, I was excited. Only I am not a solo WDW traveler - just not fun for me alone. I enjoy sharing the fun and magic an happy going along with whatever....not one of those who says I can do all my faves if alone...I never quite understand that...but maybe I'm a bit odd. And who wants to eat alone? Sophia is much too young - she'll be a yr September 2 and we do not take munchkins before 4 yrs - although if she is into Mickey and Minnie we just might have to break that rule.

I'd love for you to come hang out! I'm going to call this afternoon before all the rooms disappear with the code since loads of folks probably got the same one (glad you did too, Melissa!).

I swore next trip I'd ngt go back to POP...missing Poly etc...but even with the pin it's not affordable....$49 a ngt, well, that's doable...and a mod is $89..I'm afraid by the time I make up my mind everything will be gone.

Where's Ms Linda??? I sure hipe she got one b/c it covers her dates....or some of it anyway.

Glad you got a code too Cheryl. I guess the economy really has hit WDW. I was really surprised when booking for July that every hotel I tried had availability (Sp?). Even POP! The DH just really likes POR.

Maybe we can have another Sept. Pop'ers Dismeet?

I think I feel better. Going to get up, clean house and just ignore it if it does come back.

Good Morning!!!

So glad you're feeling a bit better, JM! I, on the other hand, am not feeling all that great today..but not sick, just, well, I don't know...

The darn pin code has me kinda in the dumps this morning - I so want to go back, but (as I've ranted multiple times) not a solo Disney traveler. It's just not fun for me...well, cannot find anyone who would/could go along. Called my old friends (both of them ), but they've no desire to go to Disney.

Sooo, there goes my first great code in 3 yrs and cannot use the darn thing. Who knew a pin code could get me depressed???

At least it's Friday!! Tomorrow we are taking a day trip to Pinehurst, NC - Mia says it's pretty with a quaint small town Sq with some shops and nice places to eat - she really liked it and thinks I'll enjoy a day there. Mia, Sophia and I - pups will stay home and Michael is going to a wedding in NJ Sat/Sun...very short trip.

Still haven't gone back and read the posts - better do that right now before it's time for Sophia.

Originally our trip began on Aug 23rd, but we moved it to a week later. Hopefully, the crowd is just a tiny bit smaller that week. We also don't want to be there Labor Day weekend & fight those crowds.

M&N, your pin code would cover our trip!! We're going during free dining though and you can't combine offers. DD & I now have APs but BFF Kandi will be getting tickets. We're under the 90 day mark so I did make a few reservations this week.

What time are you leaving on the 4th? We are heading there that evening. Going to MNSSHP that night also. Actually, what time are you suppose to arrive on the 30th? Maybe Jacob and I will drive over, but sadly school would have already started here so we couldn't go during the week.
